Thankyou very much. I enjoy watching how to do things that haven't been speeded up to a point that it seems to be a race to the finishing line. The speed in this video was perfect as it allowed me to watch this art coming to life. I gave pastelling a rest for to many years and now have to teach myself again. I have an idea to work on which made md look on how to do a nebula. So glad I found this. It's amazing and you are amazing. I learned a technique when it comes to producing stars. It saves alot of time too. Use a small paint brush, dip it in white acrylic paint, take a dry paint brush or any solid object and tap loaded paint brush onto other paintbrush handle several times about a foot away. You might want to test it out first on another sheet before you apply it to your artwork first. But what you did was nice anyway.

That’s called a correction pen. It’s basically white-out in the form of a pen.

Love. So the white pen you used for stars was soft pastel as well?

Most of the time, they use a white out pen or correction pen. In case, you can't get one, I use white nail polish with a toothpick.
It works really well and the white stands out like the stars in the sky during the night.

Ok you can do but you have to use black colour instead of black background 😊👍🏻
