@@KKVinayKumar , yes you're 100% correct. It was really sad that Microsoft had given it up instead of pushing it further even with the infrastructure market challenges at that time.
@@imllendream Yeah, they could have but then they kept on changing the APIs from one version to another and their IDE was also not free, no developer wanted to deal with changes with APIs and very few could afford to pay for its IDE. If everything was free like Android and only pay to publish in app store then Windows Phone would have also become as successful as Android.

I was in love in Windowsphone in 2012-15 ♥ I owned a Lumia 800, 535 and 640 ♥
this phone had one of the best camera.... light painting was invented with this camera..... nokia was way way ahead of every company when it comes to new technology. i owned this phone, only problem was the battery life
the best smartphone I ever had. it has served faithfully for 5 years. Today, the N7 plus has been running for more than 2 years
I so miss Lumia and windows phones. Them live tiles man. Because windows phone support died i had to buy a samsung galaxy and android. However recently i went back to my Nokia Lumia 735 as i just hate anroid. Tried it for 3yrs but just miss Lumia too much. I hope one day they will make a proper dedicated Windows app for android.

Try finding the 808 PureView as quickly as you can. That thing's a rare beast these days, especially in fully boxed/mint condition. It's prolly Nokia's most legendary smartphone, if we don't count the even older dumb phone legends. Also, I love watching your videos. You're doing God's work mate, keep it up.
The one and only downside of this phone is its Windows Phone. If only Microsoft did something to make it a better os. Superb phone, sleek design and awesome camera.
The os was fine simple and srt8 to the point but if you ever had one the os you loved it was the the lack of apps and the app store that we disliked.
Nothing wrong with the OS. I thought the UI was great and simple to navigate but like others have said, it was the lack of apps that ultimately killed the windows phone.....

Once upon a time Nokia created Monopoly in market. Now, they faced many issues to get back those consumers.
Just reordered this in 2019. Had it originally when it came out. Best Nokia I owned with Windows. Windows 8.1 was much better than windows 10. I've never seen a better predictive text and autocorrect than 8.1 had . Android today is STILL inferior to this.

I just bought a second one just for the camera and microphone quality. The only annoying thing is the automatic gain control on the microphone
2019 y sigo con mi Lumia 535, 630 y 640 LTE. Todos con Windows 10 Mobile.
Lumia 1520 was the true successor of this phone and was one of the last best Lumia phone, even though 950XL was very good in its own right but the fluidity of windows 10 was not good as windows 8
I wish I could buy these mobiles but I can not because I'm from the Middle East 😪

I used to have the Lumia 730 and now I switched to the Nokia 6.1. The call quality in these hmd phones is low. The call quality in my Lumia 730 was loud and awesome.

I had this cell phone for 3 years, at first everything was fine but then the bug problems came and it stopped freezing many times and I no longer received the calls very well. I only updated Lumia Denim, after that Microsoft stopped supporting it. Maybe it was the last Nokia I used after many years of using Nokia with symbian. Q.E.P.D

Best interface, ahead of their time. Too bad app support was so bad. Nokia always ticks most of the boxes except one. The best build quality and design innovations, but let down by their Symbian software, then WP which was great but didn't have the App Store we wanted, and now Android but we now lack real design innovation and performance.
