I have no idea how I happened upon Disrupt as a kid. I think I wandered into a show one night. I had Unrest on vinyl. That sound just gets me every time..fuckin hype bro lol Spazz and Heresy give me that same fuckin thing

I love crust and I used to never listen to it but I respect how they mix metal and punk together so perfect it sounds fucking awesome i love metal and punk and this sort of music brings both worlds together thats why i will always love crust for that

....I'll say it again and again....DISRUPT FOREVER!!!!! Never there was a better Band when it comes to Crust Punk/Crust Grind then it was DISRUPT! And prolly never will.....State of Fear / Consume / Deathraid , all of em are fckn belter as well....but fuck my old Boots if there's any other Band to compare to the perfect anger, rage and brilliant musicianship that DISRUPT pulled of!

This is one of my all time favorite records. On this tiny slap o vinyl, Disrupt all of a sudden matured and gotten unspeakably tight between guitar, drums, with those dual vocals on top...the musicianship was at a certain level that many crust bands never survive long enough to hit. I feel like on this record, they really took all their ENT, d beat, other influences, and developed something unique. And surprisingly, the clean production really elevates the songs and doesn't take away from the raw force. My only (tiny) complaint is that at some points the guitar seems a little too far back in the mix. Anyways, I love this EP. All the songs are unique and memorable and show variety and depth. Sorry, I can't stop talking about it!
Totally agree with you .. The band´s level on this ep was epic. None of any other crust bands could sound like these guys.

Why on cd have this ep with 10 musics and on vynil only 8?
The 2 other tracks were Smash Divisions and Critics, each one were earlier on separate split 7-inch EP's that Disrupt did with other bands prior to this Deprived EP coming out. I'm guessing the CD added them onto it later. Disrupt I believe also re-recorded Smash Divisions and Critics during the Unrest recording sessions since they have the same production sound as this EP and Unrest

+Mike c True. I know what crust sounds like. Disrupt REALLY sounds like ENT though.
+Lucy H - They definitely sound a bit more "metal" (i.e. heavy and thrashy) than the average crust band, much like ENT do. So I can see where you're coming from.
+Lucy H ramones sound like the beach boys..this was made prior to the 1000s of absolute formulatic d beat utter fuckin generic garbage that hit the scene after this. and same here. ill slap this on before ENT any day..this has more venom than ENT hands down. Could take the age card for an excuse here but a 7 year gap shouldnt make it or break it. Plus Jays a badass. cheers to seattle and deathraid too while im at it. Still raging.
