A passenger predicting a RyanAir hard landing is like anyone saying the sun will rise in the morning.
Winter in the Artic and Antartic says hold my beer.
Can't stand dog-pilling or memes.
Exactly 😂
Beat me to it. I swear that RyanAir pilots hate their employer so much that they''re intentionally trying to beat the crap out fo the planes.
Sorry to be the one that ruins the hatefest, but THAT was not a hard landing. Not by the technical definition of such.
And that was one of the softest landings I’ve seen
*"Works Safety" and is crushed by a plane engine. Irony never ends.*
The jokes almost write themselves.
And since it's Australia, that was probably on the drivers' side. Not much excuse for it.
@@soaringvultureAs an Australian, that flight was probably already delayed 3 hours, now it can’t even takeoff 😂
@@soaringvulture Did the truck hit the plane, or the plane hit the truck?
@@banjwolf You can't really draw any conclusion from the wheel. The whole frontal structure is crushed which would have probably displaced the upper suspension mount.
A hard landing comes included with your ryanair fare. The soft landing fee can be purchased for 20 dollars a person
And everyone has to purchase it
Brilliant so true!!
Only if you also bought bundle with seat selection. ryanair never again!!!
Have you flown into Dublin before? Depending on the weather the landings there can be a bit uncomfortable, not just for Ryanair.
But if a single passenger doesn't pay the fee there is a hard landing with no refund allowed
Man, the wheels were so close to hitting that grass wall before the runway. Crazy.
Luckily the 'Works Safety' vehicle was close at hand for that engine cowl collision...
"Works safety" the irony
The 767 pilot paid for all the runway, and was sure going to use it.
That's hilarious, I wish someone already made this joke a million times before.
That's hilarious, I wish someone already made this joke a million times before.
Well said

This is way overused, get over it.
Finnair landing: "The ground effect is strong in this one"
Thank you for never putting ads in your videos...
1:34 have they ever had a soft landing? They don't land. They arrive.
Smooth touch down : tyre burst
RyanAir : our wheels are made of steel..
From what I’ve heard, it sounds like the driver of the safety vehicle suffered a heart attack or some other health scare causing him to lose control of the vehicle and hit the 320.
thanks, that explains a lot. the vehicle seems to be trying to manouvre still after the collision.
I was trying to work out what the F situation does this even happen
That makes sense. I mean you got a f_ing large object on the tarmac and you hit it.
I reckon anyone who'd just caused half a million pounds of damage to an aircraft engine would have a heart attack. Did this driver have it before or after? I'm sceptical.
@@alliedmastercomputer5407 happens more than you think
I love your videos!! 0:57 That pilot has amazing skills and the PC-12 has amazing stopping performance.
True, I’d be nervous knowing if I mess up, I can’t go around, but that pilot is very skilled for sure
That PC-12 was slowing down on a 10% gradient though.
@@Your_Local_Nerd life as a glider pilot.
@@l.d.t.6327 Exactly, probably not even traveling 75 knots at touchdown
Reverse thrust propeller
The guy who drove the truck into the engine was heard telling his boss it wasn't his fault because he blew his horn at him😅
Betcha I can find a Ryanair joke within the next 10 seconds of scrolling
EDIT: Yep. “A hard landing comes included within your ryanair fare. The soft landing fee can be purchased for 20 dollars a person”
Honestly RyanAir jokes are funny the first time you see them, but after a while they just start to get repetitive and annoying
@@Your_Local_NerdSame with Aerosucre
How many times can someone post the same bs for likes😂
The prediction by the passenger is like predicting that when one opens a can of beer, one will find beer inside.
How do you not see something in front of you that's bigger than your car, that's just impressive
It may have been that the plane taxied into the truck. It would be hard for the pilots to see it so they have to rely on people on the ground to keep them clear.
Camouflage?
Driver had a heart attack
U Can't taxi n to a gate without two wingmen. No traffic light, then its three. Yes there those that wh get a medical pass knowing they they can't work with they're problems. 2, the equipment always have problems, so he or she thought the vehicle was n park but stuck between park and reverse. Vehicle is gonna move base on the pavement.
@@tahengrant5737that was a word salad…
Love these videos!😀🙌🏽
Top quality content, thanks very much for this. 👍🏻
I really love your vids! ♥
This is what driving on the wrong side does to aircraft.. my man could not see the engine from the A pillar..
@@industrial_prostitute Driving on the "wrong side" obscures the entire plane lol
These vids are great, keep posting!
0:22 if this were GTA 5 you'd instantly blow up the plane 😂
Lol
Wow, half a million dollars! It looks like cosmetic damage to a bit of trim, but I guess absolutely everything from the cowling, pylon, all fixings, mechanical integrity of the engine and various ancillaries, wing structure and so on will have to be checked with near-molecular precision. All that cost may well be for checking that the damage was, in fact, no more than it appeared.
Let Boeing do the checking. They will sign it off unseen.
@@bjofuruh😂😂
That Cowling received enough damage that it needs to be replaced since its very shape helps maintain precise air-flow into the engine maximum efficiency.
And there's also the cost of the vehicle. It has a damaged A pillar, which is an automatic, no-questions-asked trip to the junkyard.
Those engines are about $10M. Thats why a lot of airlines buy their airframes but rent their engines. If any of the fan blades even touched the shroud you are talking full re-build because the 2 main shafts will need to be inspected.
1:11 thats literally me in every flight sim 😅
A go around is always possible, it will be 500m to 2km from the runway. A common procedure with the company I flew with in developing countries like PNG
At 0:35...."no go around is possible..." Bob Hoover: "Hold my beer !!
The ryanair passenger is a real armchair expert
Works Safety indeed.
Impact test (complete)
*😮 Excellent 🎥*
Fantastic selection as always! This LATAM landing came extremely close to a serious crash, I doubt the passengers even realized what had just happened.
Great video 😊
Great video!
It's a very pretty scene at Courchevel (France) Airport.
Interesting approach at Courchevel. I experienced a similar situation on the Comoros Islands, at Ouani airport on the island of Anjouan. No chance for go-around...
@pascalfust1035 I've experienced it from the ground. A ski run is just below the apron. I didn't know this, and stopped at the side of the run to wait for a friend. Turned around and found an aircraft at about my eye level.. I didn't quite duck, though I thought I should for a second.
There is a video of a small aircraft stacking into the snow bank at the end of the runway.
Damn! Someone is getting a number to call, and it’s not the pilot!😂
Very nice!!!
"100 20 stall" 😂😂
0:40 most stressful landing ever
“WORKS SAFETY “
‘Ironic Dept.’
That LATAM 767 came close to what Navy pilots refer to as a "ramp strike".
The Finnair and floaters in general could benefit from the Monty Python Foot to facilitate rapid altitude reduction...
It makes the comical commercial, "Should've gone to Specsavers" so original.
I was in a Fokker Friendship landing at Teesside (huge runway). He hammered the nose wheel down leading to a puncture.
Over the intercom he says that the crew have no idea what caused the puncture. Cue much laughter in the back.
2nd clip is the airport that featured in James Bond Goldeneye right???
Ryan Air. They get you there.
Boeing- sometimes not the whole plane goes with you.
I love the first opening shot of this video, "WORK SAFELY" ! I think someone has lost their job!
Finnair, hold on folks, we are not finished!
2:11 - That's Friggin' Low!!!
the tire burst is very stunning
Softest ryan air landing ever recorded
Works Safety!
I need my one more second of Aviation please.
Saw a MAX 9 from Copa Airlines 2 days ago, was founded in 1944 and is Panama's flag carrier. The airline is based in Panama City
0:28 "You can pick up your final check in HR, it's waiting for you."
That man definitely saw his life savings flash before his eyes
'For your information, Carolyn, a firm landing is a safe landing.'
'If that landing had been any safer it would've killed us.'
The Jetstar crash occurred at about 5.30am in the morning. The aircraft was being towed slowly by a tug, and somehow, the safety car driver failed to see the tug's flashiing lights, the tug's headlights, the aircraft's flashing lights, failed to listen to aircraft/tug movements on the radio, and managed to crash into the aircraft's starboard engine. And yes, being Australia, that is the driver's side of the car, so it look's like he wasn't paying attention at all, and probably swerved at the last moment, impacting the engine cowling. By now, somebody's looking for a new job....
Do you think so?
This is what happens when you to bar after work....drink shit loads...get 3 hours sleep then go back to work. Worked in Australia seen the behaviour!
"Works Safety"? 🤣🤣🤣 Also, "Hard landing"? Looked like a normal Ryanair landing to me!🤣🤣😬😬
0:14 I wonder what is the protocol after such a hit. Is the engine removed and mounts checked? Is wing structure checked also?
pilot’s nightmare while flaring: “20”
“stall”
The most funny part in the first clip was the label on truck Works Safety, quite ironic 😂
On the Syk Express A320 it looks like, the inner Wheel of the right main landing gear locked up even before there was full weight on the wheels. If you skip just frame by frame you can see rubber smoke from that wheel moments before the spoilers had fully extended and therefore transferred the weight from the wings towards the wheels. After that, it took just a few meters for the "standstill" wheel to burn through and burst.
0:24 HALF A MILLION!?
edit: ok i understand why now
Planes (and plane accessories) are expensive
@@simontist and engines are the most expensive part
Yes
Planes are expensive.. I wanted to buy my Mom a new 737-800 for her birthday but it was costing me $106.1 million to buy, nevermind the maintenance costs!
@@lead4you ok
0:20 - "Works safety".... LOL!
Finnair first officer: Captain, the Earth just lost gravity.
Captain: Roger. Copy that.
That’s probably the most accurate non-sensationalist headline you ever produced. Maybe there is hope for you.
Great video but I'm always a little sad to see the videos out of the UK that don't feature a guy in the background yelling "FLIPPIN 'ECK!" at the top of his lungs. More of that, please :)
BLIMEY!
Wait till that Ryanair PAX is ever in the jumpseat on a Aerosucre flight.
Courchevel Airport, wasn't that used in the James Bond movie Goldeneye??? Anyone confirm that?
You may want to check out the JetBlue plane that hit an airport vehicle when backing out of the terminal at SFO on Nov 6th.
That landing in Dublin was in storm Isha!
That's the quality of Certis Security for you!
That mountain landing…OMG!! “500…(1 month later)…100TWENTY!!!”
'Works safety' hahahaha
That Ryanair landing was a bit on the soft side for them, really.
Between them and Aerosucre, I don't think this channel needs too much else
Yep, it happened at Sydney airport
Guy saw Ryanair in the winglet and then said “it’s going to be a hard one”
Works safety officer job going at Sydney airport?
I think Ryanair pilots are stress-testers for planes. Thumbs up for their job! WE are safe!
The irony that the YSSY “safety car” did not see and did not avoid the CrapStar A320 means that the driver is probably looking for a new job right about now.
I heard through the good old Aussie grapevine that the driver of the Works Safety vehicle experienced a medical issue.
He had a heart attack seeing a plane coming at him on the runway. jk jk
Being from the US, I used to think Ryanair was like the european version of Spirit Airlines. Having now flown Ryanair, i can confirm it is not. It's an entirely unique experience 😂
The Jetstar A320, I think the tug just broke down and they were using the truck to push the plane back LOL. Latam 767...have never seen the touchdown zone in front of the numbers before.
That Finnair reminds me of my teenage years.
That Finnair go-around looked intense (not as intense as the ryanair hard landing though)
"Ryanair: the best in hard landing ™, since 1984"
Half a million im very sceptical about that them intake cowls dont cos that much.
And now they're going to have to do a full inspection of that engine.
The first one I actually saw this on the news I hope the driver is okay
wow
0:28 That'll buff out.
2:13 Almost another asiana 214.
Truck driver didn't get the "Works Safety" memo
This channel should be renamed "The Financialization of Aviation"
No way 😮
Did the car hit the plane or the plane hit the car? Seemed rather a lot of momentum was involved for the truck to have hit the plane. Would have had to have been steaming it around the apron to have caved his truck in that far. The plane on the other hand with weight behind it could have been inching forward and continued.
They were both moving at the time.
I swear! Before clicking the video I said: "that's gonna be probably somewhere around half a million"
The Latam footage is quite old
The ramp safety car?
Safety is our priority. La la la la . . .
