I appreciate the many veteran mezzos (and sopranos with good lower ranges) who have taken on the role of Mme. de Croissy, the Old Prioress. She appears in only two scenes yet dominates the first portion of the opera just as Mme. Lidoine, the New Prioress, drives the latter portion. Sylvie Brunet really nails the death scene at the one-hour mark. Big thanks to all the artists and theatrical/video technicians from this aging Carmelite-ophile in Washington DC USA.
Yes, it is a production from the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris. The director is Olivier Py. I was lucky to attend it two days ago because they played it again this season.
Superb. That end is heartbreaking
Yes, the most heartbreaking end in opera history…
Great production. Thank you!

I saw this production at San Francisco Opera in 2022. It was stunning.
Have I missed something? Why is Mere Marie sining down an octave in her last scene?
This was a rehearsal, so any soloist is free to 'mark'...
That makes sense. Thank you ☺️

That is lovely! Would it be possible to know who is behind this specific staging? Thank you very much!
I believe it is the T.C Elysee stage production. (Thank you to another commenter for this info 🙂)
