BlueComm transmits first wireless underwater video broadcast

Find out how BlueComm, our underwater optical modem, was the critical building block in making Nektons First Decent mission success. BlueComm was wirelessly transmitting a live video broadcast from below the water to a worldwide audience which has never been achieved before.

One BlueComm transmits the data from the sub to a receiver BlueComm which is attached to the ship above. That data is then broadcast from the ship via satellite to people's televisions

@@SeattleRingHunter Yes, you can see it on Sky News' RUclips channel - ruclips.net/video/Xf5ERG32UxI/видео.html If you look just to the right of the hatch of the sub, you will see the BlueComm set which was attached to the ship that's receiving the live data. Have a search on here for Deep Ocean Live - that was the main mission
