I know this unit has got some years on it, but this video really helped me go for one myself. I'm just now getting into these kinds of units and the Headrush seems like it's a lot of fun and super intuitive to use! Thanks for the demo!
When I first got mine I kept asking them to put a drop tuner in it, they finally did. A Morpheus Drop tune pedal was the only extra pedal I had so now it's solely the pedalboard after they had it in an update. I do have a Heil talkbox but not counting on an update including that!
Yes I hadn’t considered the fact that it’s software and therefore completely they’re able to add stuff to it. Yes I have a talk box too: the Rocktron Banshee...
I love mine as well. After trying a bunch of multi-effects and single pedals, the HR Pedalboard is my favorite. The looper is awesome, with unusual features such as feedback playback level, that allow Frippertronics splendidly. And the possibility to edit a sound live with the pedal is also wonderful.
@@MrFirerobb Yes I plug it in a regular combo (a small cheap one from Behringer with great clean sound). I'm gonna get a second one to use stereo effects.
This was so very helpful and easy to follow. I actually got my pedalboard as an afterthought in a trade; I loved this so much, I sold my Fractal. Outstanding job, sir! You have a new subscriber.
I recently received my Headrush Pedalboard. A beast as Dan says! It replaces the array of pedals that many guitarists have, and it loops too, so I think it's very cost effective, even if the entry price seems high. Then one realizes what an array of flexible pedals & effects are included. and it becomes quite a bargain. But like every piece of hardware. it's just a basic tool, and the skill is having the imagination to use the capabilities creatively, as Dan displays here. I expect he could even get great sounds out of a couple of IKEA glasses . . .
...Sir,you should get a "commission",..."Put it in my cart!!!"...(...Never-mind...I'm a-bit "thin" after the Holiday's..)....@C Bolt,"Ditto",my Brother!!!...
About the looper, there's something I don't get. I searched for it and it says it's 20 minutes max everywhere. My mx5 also reports 3 hours something of available looper time. Did anyone figured it out?
ok...so I have this Zoom G6 unit which is very interesting at its price point and I just thought I would keep it UNTIL I SAW THIS VIDEO....!!!!! Now I have to shell out some serious dough and get one of these...I didn't realize the MASSIVE difference it can make....thanks for the demo....and now I have to figure out how to bring up this topic to my financial partner....(wife) who is very supportive so I shouldn't have too much of a problem....any ideas on that please let me know....thanks...:)
Honey, I've been doing a lot of self reflecting lately and I realized I want to do things more healthy and positive for my soul. I want to do things that are more mentally healthy and produce healing and things that are organic. and things that are less caught up in front of a TV screen. So I need this $1000 footpedal that will help me express myself and get away from the TV screen. Mk, thanks, love you honey, we will see what Christmas brings us I might get you another pair of shoes or something if you support me in this and not divorce me and hate me.
Very interesting. I’m struggling to use the gear I have already so better master that first! Out of curiosity, what could be used to hear the board when playing at home (ie no PA)? Studio monitors/headphones required?

The interface looks good, that's a big thing for me as a get a bit fed up with deep menus etc...

Does it get plugged into a regular amplifier?

I love my Headrush pedalboard board. Looked at the Helix but I thought it was not user friendly at all. And plus I saved about 700 dollars.
Nice playing, very funky!

Ha! Cheers Brian! Luckily no IKEA glasses in sight with this pedalboard!
Well Done Dan. Thanks a lot !

Kind of the Quentin Wilson of the guitar world.
😂😂😂😂
I'd love one 😎
It’s a beast!

Is it possible to edit the assignment of switches of the looper and tuner? Regards.
That I’m not sure - I’m fairly sure you can’t...
Great video .but I really carnt believe they making them harder & harder to use
this one is so easy to use. Easiest multi processor I've ever had, so much so that I own two different kinds.
What firmware is your Headrush pedalboard. I'm missing some settings on mine I think.
I’m not sure what the firmware is - I’ve not touched it since I got it!

“Bring up this topic to my financial partner” - Ha! Excellent....
Hahahahahahahaha!!!

Any pair of powered speakers will work fine with this and there is a headphone output on the back too...
@@DanBakerMusic thanks Dan
Anything that doesn't have a touch screen these days unless it sounds exponentially better, is dated…especially above $1000
Totally. I think most of them use touchscreen now...
You still live in 80s mate? You don't put time based effects (delay, reverb) in a front of amp and cabinet anymore 🤣
Sure you can.. why not.. and what's wrong w/ the 80s???
@@ryant3600 🤘🏼🤘🏼😅
This is where I would say...ahem...yes I am I. The 80s because it sucks now.
