I never thought too hard about any of these medals. I guess everything really does have it's place in this game.
One time I went to the guy to change my stats around and gave myself max hp, taking hp pluses into consideration, and Kabbu had 54 hp and healed 18 hp with heavy sleeper.
Status medals are so busted in this game. Imagine if more were made for more than just poison?
That would be cool, though I'm not sure what you could do with shock, freeze and sleep that the devs didn't already do. I also feel like Sticky, Ink and Burn are too rare to make Medals for.
@@Nimtendo03 I've seen lots of medal concepts for different statuses on LyghtBF's channel. Like one where being numbed builds up charge while you can't move.
@@PhantomAarantula huh, that does sound interesting. I forgot about the custom medals they showcased, my bad. The only ones I remember them showcasing are the holographic medal and the Burn/Freeze needles.
Bug Fables combat can get pretty damn deep in the hands of someone sufficiently creative enough. :)

Oh hey, Bug Fables! There's so many busted medals in this game. Berserker and Favorite One, and most of the poison ones, especially.
Interesting that the game won't let you sleep indefinitely. Guess they want to give you a chance to flee if you are actually stuck in a stalemate (maybe if the enemy could put you to sleep and had enough defense that Chompy can't hurt it? Not sure if that can happen, though).
Kabbu and Vi are a very powerful defensive tank and glass cannon duo, but Leif always felt kinda out of place to me. He is definitely busted early game thanks to freeze strats and can do a lot of damage with late skills near the end, but otherwise? He fills a different niche (status manipulator) that isn't always needed, I guess.
Anyways, great video! Appreciate seeing unique strats in this game :)
Leif and Vi are interchangeable depending on the strategy. Leif had strong DPS potential with ice storm and supports the team with status effects (most notably freeze, which essentially acts as another damage boost) and Vi has high damage potential with other supportive status effects (through badges) and healing.

You finally get into bug fables. Chapter 4 i think?? Has a bad ass sound track the sandcastle.
On another note. I never can use these high end strats so bosses can get quite difficult for me
With how one-sided these Status medals make the fights in combination with items that should have negative reprecussions, it looks like cheese.
The items that have negative repercussions usually don’t do anything too strong that other items don’t. They’re essentially built for these kinds of strategies. Hell, there’s a loadout that’s built around poisoning yourself for attack buffs.
