@@TheXupypr Unfortunately true. But, some get disabled, others blow up catostrophically. From the combat footage i've seen the Terminator fairs much better than all the other Russian/Soviet armor. The only other decently protected Russian armor is T-90M. Still not as safe as most western armor though. (I say all this based on the hours of combat footage i watch monthly lol)

Because it is. "Azovets" was made in single exemplar by group of mechanics, on the remains of captured russian t-64 chassis. No government were involved in creating this monstrosity. It was made by volunteers and equipped with weapon they can grab.

So.. just to inform you the Azovets was discontinued not stolen. it was far too heavy to field being heavier than the abrams and at the time of its canclation US aid had been approved and the Bradley's had just arrived being far better. also nothing is illegal about this APC. [not tank]

Actually, it is based on T-62, not 64... And you could tell it was a joke based on two turrets; multi turret design was abandoned at the beginning of WW2 when it was realized that such vehicles were difficult to control and coordinate as well as the fact that the turrets will interfere with each other, not really giving a full 360 coverage...
I would call it 'Ukraine's LOST Monster Tank,' but I might tighten up 'monster tank' to 'AFV.'

I just don’t trust anything coming from either side in this war, but Ukraine has been known as the most corrupt nation in Europe for years and I’ve talked to people on the ground on both sides. I’m not rooting for either side, it’s just sad that so many people are dying. No more brother wars.

The reactive armor sections is too big, it may take two hits but with that sizing that is leaving a huge target for the second shot.

That is not what is needed for urban combat. A better approach might be to take an MRAP and mount a cherry picker on it so that it can hide behind a building and fire over it or around a corner.
Also, the main threat now is RPV drones.
As such, it might be preferable to "man" it with humanoid robots and then harden the inside of the vehicle so that even if hit by an RPV drone it can still operate, even if it has an M Kill.
The bots could dismount from the MRAP and occupy a building and even enter the building via a second or third story via the cherry picker arm.
The main armor could be the cherry picker arm where it is sort of like a fist where the armor for the MRAP is just enough to protect it from small arms fire and frags.
The idea is if a shape change pent rates that armor that the blast effects inside the vehicle would not likely hurt the bots inside, being made of metal and not flesh and blood.
And even if the cherry picker arm might increase the likelihood of teh vehicle tipping over the arm can also act as a counter balance.
You can see a big problem with the 'terminator' in the video at 5:03. The muzzle brakes of the dual 30mm cannons are horizonal, so each barrel interferes with the one next to it. The Azovets might not have been a success, but at least they didn't try to build hundreds (actually tens) of flawed vehicles that can't hit anything after the first couple of shots as the barrels are flying all over the place.

How do you know it was captured, the Ukrainian army had T-64s before the war.
And the Russians are getting the same effect with a thin shed over theirs with a fraction of the weight or cost.

Hmmmmmm looks pretty similar to a German IFV Schützenpanzer PUMA 🤔a couple more guns added to that same spot.
After watching a Bradley take out a T90 by shooting it's navigational optics, rendering it blind, I'm leery of an over dependence on cameras. Even with decoy optics.

The Terminator only has a 3cm auto cannon. Any of the old Soviet T series tanks can destroy a Terminator at range where the 3cm auto cannon cant hurt a tank.

There's actually a 1/35 WW2 model called the RAM-Tiger using a Tiger Porsche chassis similar to this design. But Ukraine's designers are better.
Not just a model. 3 of those are known to have existed. Those were pointless and stupid in every single way. (Except literally, because the extra armor did in fact have a pointy tip.) Also, it's name should be "Rammpanzer Tiger P", or "VK45.01(P) mit Rammhaube Rammtiger", according to different sources.
