Surfing Star Mikala Jones Dead at 44

Surf star Mikala Jones has died. He was 44. According to 'Surfline,' Jones died from a wound sustained while surfing on July 9. His daughter, Isabella, confirmed Jones' death on Instagram, explaining that he 'got into a bad surfing accident and didn't make it.' In her tribute, she wrote, 'I wish this never happened and we could just wake up and go surf together tomorrow morning.'
