    It wasn't a heartbreaking disappointment that she didn't get gold. The fact that she was denied entrance to properly warm up played a big factor. A formal complaint needs to be filed against the Olympic committee for this. That "last minute change" affected more athletes than Shacarri. But she definitely did not disappoint. She WILL have a gold!!!!💯

    Shacarri was simply overwhelmed by the successes she experienced the previous year. The situation in the Paris Olympics was best favorable to her by the absences of the Jamaicans powerhouse for her to win hands on. But, the lack of focus and determination showed the wide gap of victory by the winner over Shacarri. Anyway, she's still young and had shown her resiliency to make a great comeback.

    She doesn't have the attitude of a champion. When she loses, she turns off. She doesn't know how to win or lose with grace, and sportsmanship. Her coaches are to blame. A great example is when she's getting ready to win, she throws her arms out before she crosses the line. How many 100th's of a second is she losing when she does that. It may seem miniscule, but these things affect your time. What about running off after not accomplishing what you said you would accomplish and not facing the press? You love it when you're declaring your greatness, but you don't want to face the press when you fall short of your own predictions. "No grace in winning or losing." A good coach and tell an athlete about it, but the athlete has take on board and and understand it. Practice it. She needs to go back to Texas and let tourists take pictures with the Track Star that could have been the greatest, but was a big disappointment. Watch some Flojo interviews. Now she was professional, graceful, and a real Olympic Champion. Follow her example SR. 😢

    2024 Olympics media and press, After so many championship performances by Black women across the globe, lets not annoy athletes with goofy coverage of how someone responded to a question. Athletes are people not trained politicians. Emotions, expectations, and stakes are high during these moments Sha'Carri I have enjoyed watching you race with joy over that past few years as you chased your dream while overcoming obstacles. You did it with dignity and class. Be humble, thankful, and grateful allowing things to fall into place. There is only one Gold metal for each event, and you have to beat everybody on the planet, not an easy feat. You were short by 0.15 seconds. Make no mistake your fans simply adore you and do not have any shade towards you. Athletes if you fall short, your real fans still celebrate how you competed, we know if you are human you will have some loses. Two GOATS, Simone and Air Jordan even had moments when they came up short. You have star power and brought a lot of eyeballs to track and field. Congrats to the sista's who won medals and those who did not.

    Also, I feel that it’s her prerogative if she does not want to respond to media. Reporters should stay in their lane and respect people’s space. A individual knows when they want to be interviewed and what they want to say. It’s our right to speak or not when we want regardless of the situation. I saw nothing wrong with how she handled her self. It’s disgusting and disrespectful to me that the reporter got her name wrong.

      Yes and then Gabby handed Julien her arse in the 200m. That's the nature of competition. I say great work to all the Ladies. There were times in the history of Olympic games where the sisters were not even allowed to compete. To see them now ...is great.

    • @dham629
      @dham629 Месяц назад +1

      Most sprinters aren't running at their top speed in the semi finals. They're only trying to qualify. ShaCarri's fastest time at the 2023 World Championship is 10.65. Which is something no one ran under at the Olympics.
      So, I doubt her ego was deflated. She was nothing but gracious to Alfred in defeat, and embraced her a couple times after the 100m race.
      I believe it had more to do with the last minute bullshit, arbitrary and trivial rules to deny them entry access to the stadium to do warmups. It was low down and insidious. I believe it was done deliberately to create adversity and affect outcomes. Who wouldn't be upset about that?

    It's not just her eye lashes but her finger nails too that got in the way. Incidently the gate drama took place before the semis. For the finals she knew her way around and there was ample time to warm up. Why must the media make excuses when a better runner won by yards.
