Honestly I think Louis wanted to let young Daniel live because he might have seen a little of himself in Daniel. They were both young closeted men who were trying to find their way in the world.
Tbh if these men weren’t vampires Armand would be it for me 😂. Just he’s the protector type, pick up your slack type, like order and rules (the coven) and a lil passive aggressive lol.
Daniel thought he was leaving up out the apartment, but Armand hit him with the "rest " 😂🤣. I'm starting to sympathize with Armand because if they’re upset about him erasing that messy situation from their memory, oh well . "What they gon do"? 😂 But the real question still remains, why did Armand save Daniel?
I was thinking the same thing like people pay money to get a hypnotist to erase traumatic memories so he did them a favor but what’s more troubling is that if he’s done it once there’s a chance he’s been editing more of Louis memories. I’m team Armand but it’s the kind of thing that breaks trust in a relationship forever unfortunately. Bc who knows what else he’s planted in his head
I really believe that if Armand had intended to alter Louis's memory maliciously, he would have erased much more. I know he should have asked Louis first, but I think he acted out of love and a desire to protect him. I feel sorry for Armand because he just wants love, and I can imagine the pain he feels watching Louis consider ending his life without considering how it would affect him.
Love the mess, the drama, the tea this episode 🤣 Give me more! The show runner rolin jones said they wanted to show that the older the vampires get the more baggage they have and the more sick and twisted they become. It’s such an inspired choice for the show and makes the vampires so interesting rather than having these old wise beings which would be rather boring!
I wasn't here because the old tree fell over at my parent's place and I wasn't in the mood after what happened but I'm okay now. About The Boys if you want me to chat about the show on the stream, I'll be happy to do it. It's my first time watching The Boys so I'm going in blind so if you or anyone wants me in, I'll do it. Up to you. 😊
Not sure I’d ever be content for too long if I was given the romantic options Louis was given either. That said, I don’t think it’s true that Louis is never satisfied though he has every right not to be. He tried to find satisfaction in his photography, in humanity, and anytime he found that happiness outside of the people who felt entitled to his devotion, he had it destroyed in some way.
Everything that’s destroyed for him is usually bc of his own involvement and poor decisions as well. He doesn’t have to love Armand forever but he knew from the beginning that he wasn’t that into him but saw that Armand was vulnerable and deeply wounded so he took advantage of that and took the role of his master just bc it was beneficial to him. He’s not a total victim and I think that’s what Armand is angry about. But Armand is also crazy so he handles everything poorly too lol. I love them both so much
Daniel annoying and boring? Please! He was charming as heck and that charm alone is one thing that makes him more "facinating" than Armand. Sorry, but Armand IS boring af at least compared to Lestat. Once Daniel angered Louis, he just couldn't stop his vampire thirst once he bit Daniel. Louis enjoyed talking to him then, and still likes talking to him obviously. He still bored af of Armand. 😂
@@Slice_of_Horroryeah I’ve been seeing so many people hate on Armand in comparison to lestat but Armand fans never insult the other characters. It’s weird. He’s super fascinating and I won’t stand for it!
@@possiblymaybe6711 Oh, I love/hate Armand. He is imo the most interesting character in the book Chronicles but he's manipulative af. I would describe him as a quiet storm. I loved his relationship with Daniel in the books very much, but Daniel is my baby and I hate seeing him hurt is all.
If people call Armand boring its probably because he should come off as "boring"... I know he is complex and a beloved character but yeah... he comes off as more boring than Lestat or Daniel overall

I agree
Yes! I thought it was just me but Armand had the best read when he was going in on Louis! Everything he was saying was so true!
Hell he hit Louis with a fatality so bad he ran into the sun 😂.

Armand was going to war over that Louis pipe 😂
He was being a real gremlin 😂

They honestly should be thanking him. He saved both their lives that day.
@@Slice_of_Horror Right! Louis once again lost control, leaving Armand to clean up the mess.

I’m here for the messiness! lol
Yeah it shows the curse of immortality
Y'all notice that both episodes 5 resulted in Louis being horribly injured? I fear ep.5s in the future.
😮 I just thought about it
