I love all your addon suggestions! An alternative to World Quest List I really love is World Quest Tab. Check it out if you get some time, I think it deserves more attention. I love the filtering and how it puts icons for the loot onto the map.

I've always been a fan of Quartz. It is a cast bar that lets you know when to begin your next cast by factoring in server latency, therefore boosting DPS.

I'd also recommend MinimapButtonBag for those with many many buttons on the minimap, this addon puts them all of the various addon buttons into a single button ;)

Besides the quest mob identifier, the best thing about Threat Plates is the ability to change the name plate of your target. This is so handy when AOEing a pack of mobs. I use the one where it puts big, white arrows on each end of the name plate of your target.
Vuhdo, HealBot Continued or Clique. I've found that they're not just great for healers, but DPS and tanks too. As a Prot Paladin, I use Vuhdo to cast Hand of Salvation, Blessing of Protection etc. if someone in my party gets in trouble. Not just for healers anymore.
AzeriteTooltip has an option to have full names + icons
Others i always use. Auctionator, bartender, raven (buffs debuffs), quartz (cast bar), shadow unit frames, mappy, dbm, prat (chat), titan panel data broker

I want to give a shout out for Plater nameplates. When tidyplates went out of date in legion, as a dot class, i desperately searched for a good nameplates addon. Kui didn't do it for me. Threatplates didn't do it for me. The only one that had what i needed was Plater.
When tidyplates was kinda resurrected for BFA i thought "sweet! I can go back!" I tried it and realized that Plater was just better. It had advanced beyond even tidyplates.

eAlign let’s u put a grid up on screen so that you can perfectly center aspects of your UI when moving things around. Lort UI is a texture skin for unit frames and action bars that makes them imo much easier to read. Move Anything let’s you move anything. And some type of add on like class colors that changes the health bars of your unit frames to have the color of whatever class you’re targeting.
I picked up auto pilot and was floored with how awesome it is. Thanks for the tip!

Hey Kelani Awesome Video as always! Btw I am still using your ElVui setup and I'm still loving it but it still shows order resources instead of War Resources for BFA is there a way I can switch it over?
Im using my own ElvUI profile and it still shows order resources rather than war resources so i think its just a case of waiting for ElvUI to update it.
Des Jones ~ Go to your character frame and click on the currencies tab on the bottom. Right click on War Resources and it will show you a check box that will allow you to show them on your bag frame (bottom side). If you don't want Order Hall resources to show anymore just uncheck the box for that one. You can also show War resources as a data text on the bottom side of your chat box frame. You just need some fiddling around with your ElVui settings.
@@jameswoodthorpe2109 Actually, no. Orderhall and WarResources are separate datatexts in ElvUI's config. You'll need to swap it manually. Should be under DataBars or Datatexts.

Can you do a ret paladin rotation guide. I find myself auto attacking while waiting for abilities to come off CD almost all the time. I kept trying new talents attempting to get a smooth flow going but nothing is working.
Have a look at Async (AdaptiveSync) Addon. Good for keeping your framerate high in raids
Kelani what addons is showing your debuffs or dots on the mob? It’s much easer too see.

What add-on are you using to display buffs and debuffs above your Threatplates? Or is it just Threatplates itself?
Having an insanitybar for shadow is important, sexymap for a non-shitty minimap, TomTom so you can set waypoints and have coords, and DBM until you learn all the requisite tells for bosses

Instead of Threat plates, you should really use QuestPlates for quest mobs - it works with both quests and world quests - such an amazing addon, showing you even counter of how much of given criteria you need. After installing it, I can't imagine playing without it before.
I use Z-Perl and dominos but I cant seem to find an azerite exp bar. Is there an addon that will do that?
A list of the addons in the description would be Nice but at least there was a bonus salami in this video.

Scrapper Druid bug: Switch to feral spec = Fixed. I guess resto and balance are bugging it, also seems to be with resto affinity.

Great video! I've been watching a lot of these addon videos lately, to try and get an overview of what I might want in order to improve my WoW experience, and this one is probably the cleanest, most proper one. Factual, with reasoning for why you prefer certain addons over others, compact, not showing off a ton of unnecessary stuff. If I were you, though, I'd put the addon list in the description as well as the comments!
Also, a question: Do you know if KUI nameplates can display quest markers the same way that Threat Plates is doing for you? I tried out Threat Plates a while back, but found it sort of clunky to customize.
And finally, for those interested in WeakAuras but without the know-how to make them yourself: on wago.io, there's a WeakAura author called Ipse, who makes really nice, clean WeakAura collections for a lot of different classes. Definitely recommend checking him out. His WeakAuras are simple overviews of the the class's cooldowns, buffs and major abilities, including a resource bar for each class. If you feel like something's missing from one of his auras, it's pretty easy to take a look through the abilities and get an overview of what each aura is like, so you can add what you want/need. Some of the classes are indeed missing some fairly major abilities - there is, for example, no included icon for Boomkins' Starfall buff. That may be due to slow updates for BfA, though. He also has a really good ElvUI profile which I use (having customized it quite a bit myself). wago.io/p/Ipse - here's a link to his profile. He has collections for various classes, but also publishes the more unique parts of each aura separately, like for example a Soul Shard bar for warlocks and a rune tracker for DK's.

i would also recommend DBM/bigwigs, a tradicional and really helpfull addon
DBM, Handynotes and Details! hands down best addons.
I think a must have addon for pvp is H.H.T.D it marks the healers in bgs, arenas and world pvp.
Did you have a stroke in the beginning?
I recommend getting astral keys when mythic plus comes out. Also check out selljunk. Makes it easier to sell ya trash items.

I recommend an addon called World Quest Tab. It's actually cleaner than the one that you use @SignsOfKelani.
I try to tell all my friends about this. I really love it. Clean, simple, efficient.
I like Word Quest List better, its easy to imput the quest ID with a better player pool por WQ party making.
It's one of those addons that do use the group finder, so expect blizzard to kill eventually
