This was very helpful to me as a player. In platoons i would always play focussing on what im doing but this really helped me realize that you have to take one for the team sometimes and secure the bag. Thank you Martin Dodger i would love to play with you sometime great video!

Excellent video again Martin, another good addition to your collection. If i can add anything to the theme of 'platooning' its to also pick a platoon partner your comfortable with, as even if you pick the correct tank types some players style can be overwhelming, Ive played with players who like to be aggressive and fast and i struggle to keep up with that play style and it causes me to make mistakes, so choose a platoon buddy you can work with effectively that you feel comfortable with who will work with you instead of pushing ahead in kind of solo fashion. Also dont feel that you need to live up to the WR of a platoon buddy if he is a well known super unicum, just play your game and do your best, im sure the platoon buddy will appreciate that more, as most good players are trying to help you and encourage you to do better.

I find it better to have different types of tanks in platoons so one can cover the weaknesses of the other,
My best platton combo with my Clan leader is his SU 100Y and my VK 2801. I spot and kite them in front of his big gun then finish them off while keeping them from getting behind or COD'ing him.

Two TD can be a risky choice. But two mediums always works well.

Nice advice, so true! I usually I play solo or go with same type of tank when in a platoon (heavy with another heavy, medium with another medium, or light with just about any type of tank except TD’s, and a TD with a heavy or medium or another TD or just about any heavily armored, but with a good a gun and probably good vision range tank, but never a light tank because it can’t take a shot if necessary and you’ll probably leave your mate behind) these are my rules although I very rarely obey them myself like rolling out in a light tank with a heavy or a med with a TD, I however never use a light tank and TD combination it doesn’t work even when it looks like it should NEVER, EVER DOES!! The advice about informing your mate and your team on what you’re doing is a very good idea but in the heat of battle we probably never do and afterward think about if I’d only told them, it’d be good if you could pass on all the intel you have/had to your mate, but I guess that’s what discord and other such support amps are for? You give the greatest advice matie thanks !!!

Being on voice toon helps wonders, but you can also use quick commands to send as much info as possible
