Second son is already a 10 of 10 game. It has no flaws. Is it better than this one? That's debatable. But even if it wasn't there's levels to this. God of war Ragnarok it's 10 out of 10 but the leagues ahead of God of war (2018) but that game is still 10 out of 10 even though it's not as good as Ragnarok.

It's ironic how Kuo and Nix throughout the game is the difference between selfish and selfless. Nix wanted destruction and Kuo wanted order. But when it came down to it, Nix shows she cared about others more than her life and Kuo was the opposite
Nix was always the realest one out of the two so I wasn’t surprised when she stepped up for humanity when it really mattered. Kuo was fake from the get go imo. My first time playing this game I chose the good path and everytime I sided with kuo , it felt wrong or forced somehow . Maybe I’m reading too much into it but kuo always felt fake and she acted like she was always right about everything and dismissed how Nix felt on certain things and treated her like a child . Even tho Nix was crazy , she felt genuine when i completed missions with her and I understood the reason why she acted the way she did. The way her mother and family died would make anyone crazy and I felt more connected with Nix for some reason . Kuo just always felt fake to me from both the good and bad perspectives of the karma system .

Um... Going to have to disagree a little bit here. Nix still couldn't give less of a fuck about anyone besides herself (except maybe Cole). The only reason she sided with Zeke is because she just wanted the Beast dead for killing her "babies". If he didn't kill them, she would have been much, MUCH more willing to side with the Beast. In fact, she probably would have been eager to. Nix did the right thing, but still she was selfish.

Hence why i name infamous 2 as one of if the most perfect game. Fun gameplay, great characters, Great story and lines as well as voice acting. Cole (evil or not) is the best video game character imo. BUT the only game in mind that comes close to this game in perfection is Saints row 2
If you’ve got time, you should try checking out the comics Dontai. They’ll help explain why some characters you see in inFAMOUS 1 don’t return in 2, and just helps your understanding more, and it makes you really feel more for Cole and Zeke. Also hope you get to trying out Festival of Blood, it’s not canon but it’s still a fun time.
Ok so I haven't watched the full video yet but Zeke is probably the best gaming partner. In the first game of course he betrayed you when you were evil (I don't know if he does it when your good) but he came back to try and save you. He's one of those guys that doesn't care what you do, as long as your friends that's all that matters. Plus he just wanted to help because you face all these people with powers and yet he's just human. But I love how Cole and Zeke are like brothers. I love when this happens.
Blue ending don’t make sense to me, you have no guarantee that the RFI will work and save humanity but you do in turning everyone into conduits. Yeah, it’s gonna be chaos afterwards but in this situation you’d only think of the imminent solution. Also, if i remember correctly, devs made the Red ending to be the canon one (After all, it is called “INFAMOUS”) but changed it up later due to most people choosing blue ending.

Totally with you, that redemption arc feels like how these two games should be played. inFAMOUS 2 stands on its own, but the plot really feels like a response to the first game's. I only wish that the framing of the final choice was more neutral; like the good alignment would say "*attempt* to save humanity and purge all conduits" while the evil would say "Work with john to save as many conduits as you can".

You really put me through a relapse of emotions, watching through the whole playthrough to the ending of this game again after all these years. This was a childhood game/franchise I grew up with. It was so hard watching it because I remember how it felt playing my first PlayStation game after my dad replaced the old broken fat PS3. This really put a ugly cry on my face too seeing both endings. I love this game so much and I am really glad that you've played this game Dontai. As always, a W content from a W content creator.

So a slight thing so people who didn't know the writer for this game wanted the evil ending to be cannon but that didn't happen because 78 percent of players did the good ending so that's the cannon ending which is why second son is more different when it comes to conduits (unless you choose the hero obviously) at the end of the day W playthrough also if you didn't know now you do❤
Both endings of this game are accurate but the evil ending really sucks to me. Kuo came to help Cole KILL the beast and Nix and Zeke been busting their asses helping Cole because this is why he came to New marais after all But in the end Nix and his old buddy Zeke got killed by him and he betrayed humanity..
