Its not like the MiG-29 (9-13) and the SMT weren't the meta before Don't know what makes the MiG-29G now suddenly "The Meta" Always was and will be a good Soviet Jet.
29G has the maneuverability of the 9-12 and the SMTs missiles and engines, thats why its the meta. And no, not any soviet jet aged quite well, go have a round with most of the MiG-19s and you'll notice what im talking about.

Yes it uses R-73s compared to the 9-13 variant. Apart from that the MiG-29G is not the meta and is pretty much a slight alteration of the the current existing MiG-29s That will get obsolete the next update with the Addition of the Su-27 and F-15
