A Family of Four - Ancestry Worship「四人の家族 - 祖先崇拝」

In many cultures, ancestry worship is a fundamental (basic) principle. I don’t mean worship as in a religion, but as in the veneration (honoring) of the dead - which is based on love and respect for the deceased. In some cultures, it is related to beliefs that the dead have a continued existence and may possess the ability to influence the fortune of the living.
This is where my wife’s ancestors were buried for 100s of years since the 1600s. That is about 175 years before America was founded (created)!
In Japan, especially, it is important to remember and respect those who came before you. Many households have a family shrine in their house called a “butsudan”.
The concept of ancestry worship has been around since long ago since ancient Egypt and Rome.
Do you know at least your grandmother’s name? How about your great grandmothers?
Consider this: It is difficult to know where you are going if you don’t know where you came from.
Genealogy is the study of family history. Most people know this area of study as simply a “family tree”. If you don’t have a family tree, today is a good day to get started. Your fortune may change for the good if you bring some honor to your roots. In regards to this, our next trick is about a family of 4.
