I've been a baker, and pastry chef for just under 40 years. Food coloring DOES indeed have a flavor. Certain ones are a little more bitter than others, but in order to actually taste it you'd have to consume a whole lot of it. Also, certian colors are more likely to have more of a noticeable flavor. Red, and black for example.

My girlfriend worked at McKee which makes little Debbie. She said the brownies were crispy when they came out of the oven and were in a big sheet. They only became soft after being put it the wrappers.
Geoff, you always make the challenges look so enticing for the non professional in your feasting activities!! One idea to consider would be to explore all the miscellaneous sweet and savory items you find at various TJ Maxx/HomeGoods that have random and often international items. This maintains your miscellanous interets while navigating around flavor fatigue and you have the additional bonus of exploring new items!! Compliment all with chocolate milk!!
Cosmic brownies have changed the recipe since I was younger, not sure exactly when. But originally they contained honey. Now it's been replaced by corn syrup. Not nearly as good In my opinion!!

I think people can be intimidated because you're seriously one of the best in the world. Also you look big and scary, but we all know you're really nice - you're always genuine in all your videos and comments. I just wanted to mention another channel you may be familiar with, Eli Lessig. "A guy named Eli." They expressed interest in collaborating, they're a fan and an "up and coming" restaurant capacity eater. Im hoping they'll reach out sometime next year. I know it's hard to coordinate that sort of thing so I wanted to give you a headsup. I would love to see a collaboration, and possibly future collabs with other channels because everyone knows you - they just might be intimidated, or not know you're interested in doing restaurant challenges for fun. All of us subscribers would love to see it too! Doesn't matter how competitive the challenge is, just seeing you interact with a restaurant, seeing their shocked faces when you demolish the food, and giving them good publicity here on the channel. It's good for everybody!
