    If you make your own position palette, why it doesn't release (my own palette still stays red(, when I click on any other pre-made positions?

    • @ChamSysLtd
      @ChamSysLtd  3 года назад +1

      This depends on the attributes in the palette. For example if you have a fixture with R,G,B,W colour channels. The orignal palette has R,G,B,W in it. But when you recorded your new palette you only recorded R,G,B into the palette, then the orignal palette would stay selected as the W channel is still referencing it as not in your new palette.
      Same for any palettes e.g. if you make a palette with Pan only instead of Pan/Tilt.
      Always a good idea to locate the fixtures before recording a palette (so that all attributes are active in the programmer, note when recording say a position palette all Col, Beam, int information is automatically masked/note recorded).

    Where "SET LOC CUE" is meant to be I only see "special cue" in place of that. Could you please let me know what mistake I must have made. Thanks!

      since filming this as we've added some extra new options, you'll find the Set Locate Cue option now under the 'special cue' button menu once you select it.

    Hi!!
    I have one question.
    I have created my own library of a light and everything is okay; but when i click the clear button it doesn't perform its total function, it clear everything but the lights stay on.
    Thanks!!!

      This sounds like either an issue with channels set to HTP/LTP or default values. If you send the head file you created to support@chamsys.co.uk we can take a look at it for you.

    When I add an Elation Platinum Beam 5r Extreme Fixture profile, I don't see a Frost option in the beam pallettes. I know this fixture is capable of doing that because we do it with our venues Road Hog 4 console. Am I missing where the beam frost control is at? Thanks!

    • @ChamSysLtd
      @ChamSysLtd  2 года назад

      Hi Mark, The frost control can be found on beam page 2 (select page 2 from the top left of the beam window).

    Hello, one quick question about the default and locate cues at 9:51. It seems I do not have these buttons, but I have a "Special Cue" button. And when I click on it, I can set a Special Cue to Default or Locate position.
    However, it affects ALL my fixtures, not just the ones in my recorded cue. So it's a bit unplesant as I have to position all my fixtures with only one cue.
    Any advice on how to get the original buttons back?
    Thanks!

    • @ChamSysLtd
      @ChamSysLtd  2 года назад

      Are you using Group Cues? In normal head cues it should only affect the fixtures recorded into Cues.

      Hey @Eternel_gd. I have the same problem where I have the button "special cue" placed where the "set loc cue" should be. Did you ever figure out what the problem was?
      Thanks.

    Hi! I have a question about the positions palettes. I can see that some off them have an small "x" in the center off the palette button, I understand that it is because that palette can control position parameters of more than one tipe of fixture, is that correct? Because in colours palettes I dont see the x and they can control also more than one tipe of fixtures. Thank you very much!

      The small x in the corner on this demo show is an icon we have used. You can modify palettes to apply to fixture of the same type under Setup > View Settings > Cue Storage > Expand Palettes to same head type.
