I can't believe that the ending to that music video was cut off. There was originally a scene at the end where Arnold came face-to-face with Axl, and we saw Axl from the Terminator's POV. His display said something like, "Waste of ammo."

Yeah, the phrase "Hasta la vista, baby!" was made popular by Terminator 2: Judgment Day. I'm sure people said it here and there before but probably not that often since it obviously combines two different languages. Once this movie came out, people said it a lot during the 90s.

It's been forever and I was only 10 when T2 came out but if I remember correctly this music video came out BEFORE the movie did. You have to remember this was long before the internet (most people didn't own computers) and tv trailers where 30 seconds so this was like an extended trailer with scenes not even found in the official movie trailer at the time. Add to that GNR were the biggest band on the Planet in 1991 and basically this was THE coolest thing ever when it premiered on MTV. I remember my Dad caught me watching this at like 11 at night and at first was mad but then saw what I was watching and sat down next to me as enthralled with it as I was. When it was over I got grounded for a week. Totally worth it.

Thank you ladies. A bit of cool trivia for those Guns N Roses fans, guitar lovers, and techies out there because this song, Terminator 2 movie, and one other thing will always be connected. Many people do not know, the red guitar Slash is playing is a very early 1980's USA BC Rich Mockingbird. He allegedly bought it from someone outside a club in Los Angeles for only a couple hundred dollars.The guitar as it is seen in the video here has a Khaler tremelo which was stock. At some point in late 1991 or early 1992, he had the guitar modified with a Floyd Rose tremelo and two other things on the headstock. Many people are still hoping BC Rich will make available to the public an exact replica of this guitar. NO, the Mockingbird "SL" model which has a mahogany neck is NOT an exact replica or official "artist signature" model. Slash's model has a maple neck.
