  • Hyundai have done it again and completely re-designed the Sonata it looks so much different from the previous generations. It competes with Honda Accord and the Nissan Altima.
Hyundai could have given this a whole different name and most people would have not even noticed it was a re done Sonata that is how different I think this thing looks. I do think its an improvement but having owned a 2020 Sonata for the last 4 years I do still think the old model looks good in its own way. We now have those Robocop daytime running LED's which now put the Sonata inline with the Hyundai and Kona which also have the same LED's.
The inside of the Sonata is a very nice place to spend time. we have leatherette seats a big sunroof we also get standard heated and ventilated seats as well as heated steering. the fact that this new Sonata is so well equipped in what is the base model is really good news for everyone. This design will age very well and there is still a ton of space. having the AWD is a really nice plus especially if you live in a place where it snows.

Hi, I am not able to find a good dealership, what was the final amount you ended up negotiating?

Nice to see Canadian coverage. I didn't catch from your review if the trunk had a power close. The other review I've seen so far was a hybrid version from the US which did. I believe both Preferred and the N-Line have the hands free loiter around your trunk to open, but I think that's different from the power trunk close isn't it that's typically reserve for luxury class vehicles. Are you able to confirm if the Canadian preferred trim has it or not?

Thanks! Happy to represent Canada! The trim that I had did not have the powered trunk but I believe the N-line trim does have it
