That was very nice to look at from an athletic standpoint, but I can't help but notice that my trained eyes (40yrs of experience) did not see anything which had any fighting application. Let me say in advance in case someone thinks I'm a hater that I'm not. I just happen to see how far we have fallen realistic Martial Arts.
This performance itself and it's techniques are more of a showcase
Like fire Nunchucks
It becomes it's own art, of course change the staff and you'll see more applicable techniques as well
It was nice to look at from that standpoint (athleticism and creativity).
Xma is nothing more than a counterfeit martial art and a mutual admiration society
@@cliffordhill2365 yes there are two sides of martial arts, combative and artistic, this one is artistic as the music and spinning motions imply.
@@realchix Question how is music and baton twirling have any connection to Martial skills? Martial connotation is Military, Combat, and fighting skills? Thank you
Emotiza insana
Insane!!!!
This is amazing
That‘s unbelievable!
osu !
The flip to catching the staff was dope!!
Question , how is throwing and catching a staff a Martial skill in the context of Combat application? Also the video has no historical or combat applications to Okinawan KoBudo Bojutsu, so Why is he wereing a Karategi and a black Obi ? Thank you
