Yes! very useful as it helps us understand the thought process and where the mind should be. Any chance for one video each for strategy MM and rapid understanding and solving of a critical business/ operations problem?
💯 I’d love to make those videos after mindmapnation.com launches next week! In the meantime, I made this video on business development strategies with some mind mapping techniques at the end: Business Development Secrets - How I Made $ Millions for Startups ruclips.net/video/dvzzBlnLxsc/видео.html
I will try to reserve a nice quiet morning at the local library for this one. I've just started practicing with mind mapping recently and have been using our local library as the environment (which can be so important for concentration). Recently, I made a bit of an effort to get into some classical music, or glean through some famous artwork or literature. However the focal point for me is to create an optimal environment and ambiance work and perfect on my mind mapping
Environment is key to learning and productivity. I personally love cafes for its balance of action and stillness. Noise cancelling headphones 🎧 are key though working in public.
Thank you for watching (listening?) haha I’ve had this same video on repeat several times as worked on mindmapnation.com. As the Googlers would say, we gotta eat our own dog food ;)
Matte all the way. It feels way nicer for ✍️ BUT you will lose some resolution because of the texture. Paperlike makes the best ones because they have the best writing experience while retaining much of the reso. Happy mapping Matt!
What app is used to work this way, is it Inotes with a modified paper or something else? I have used MindNode but very interested to hear if there are better/different alternatives out there and compare
Yup! YOUR Kanban Coach (awesome name btw haha) is right. I hand draw most of my maps rather than using digital apps. I live by the wise words of a former mentor: "sufficient to purpose", which means seeking out the lowest tech/complex tool to solve a problem. This led me to hand draw 90% of my mind maps, saving apps like MindNode, iThoughtsX or MindMeister for big projects or for team collaboration. There is also something innately "human" and satisfying about drawing on paper that's very conducive to my creativity.
that intro with the mug placement beat drop 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
YOU NOTICED! 🙌❤🙏 Happy Sunday! 🌄
謝謝黃Sheng先生傳達這麼美的訊息!您的導圖線條畫出來真的好有美感,好像欣賞國畫里的荷花荷葉流水,把導圖和國畫鏈接在一起,絕佳妙筆👍👍👍
Thanks Sheng, its great sitting with you and seeing your thought process. Keep it coming.
More to come indeed! I'm thinking of making a version on how I annotate books. Maybe "Read with me"? ;)
That's a really great idea.

Do you recommend a matte screen protector for writing on your iPad? I'm trying to get into digital mind mapping thanks to you!
