As someone already inconveniently sensitive to smells, your tip on unscented body products is absolute gold to me, thank you! Except now I'm freaking out about other people wearing strong smells haha
Thank you for this wonderful insight. I too am in the process of packing and a bit like you always organised and prepped. I was actually worried that will it look odd if I turn up with the big case and maybe the baby case too and thats just for clothes. Not planning to wash anything apart from myself when I am there.
Thanks. I added and subtracted a few things from my list. I was wondering if those strap-style stadium seats for your back were allowed. From what you said, I guess they have something similar if you need it. I am headed for the Twentynine Palms center in about a month. Cheers.
Hmm.. I'm sorry for the late response on this. I don't remember, and I think each location could be very different. If you have room to pack one though, I think you can do that. If anyone else has experience with this, can you make sure to comment?
@@soulwork333 lol I did not. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. But paradoxically has become a huge learning experience. Just learned how resilient I am. I feel deeply now for the people I've learned about who have such a crisis from it they don't recover. I have learned Goenka is not the only teacher, and his style is not for everyone. May all beings be safe, autonomous, and may anyone suffering be met with compassion and aid. On a side note, during one of the meditations one girl ran out of the room "releasing gas" like big time, I wished we could have all laughed together, and I wanted to hug her big time, so you were right about the beans. ALSO for anyone reading, I wish I had brought a tea canister for myself like you said. I think that is solid advice.
I'm headed to Lava Hot Springs Vipassana Tuesday! Your packing list has helped me!!! Thank you:)
I’ll be there too. I’m not traveling very far but I’m being dropped off and it’s hard to know what to bring!
@@randomanda I’m totally over packing hahah! I live in Boise so I can just keep the things I do not need in my car!
camping with you is for sure amazing:)
Thank you-very helpful!
I'm so glad this resonates with you. Have a wonderful Vipassana. :)
