The movie turns 6 today! I don’t hate it But I know it has issues Main thing is they crammed so much material into 2 hours and Jonathan Rhys Meyers feels like an afterthought Thank goodness with the TV show they were able to expand a lot more from the books
29AndreG Of course they're exaggerating, but he kinda did. After Jace and Clary have their first kiss he walks her to her room and right when they're about to kiss again, Simon opens the door (he was waiting for her to tell her something). Jace sees him and immediately thinks Clary was messin around so he just passively brushes her off and walks away. Now, in the book it made sense because Jace was already established as a paranoid, stubborn dick. In the movie, he has 0 personality to speak of until that moment when he all of a sudden turns into a paranoid, stubborn dick. The whole scene just comes off random and awkward (much like the rest of this movie).
Jack Let it go brother. This stuff is essentially porn for women. Only the great Koolman could point either of us in the direction of a porno with credible characters and writing that isn't get drunk and laugh at it worthy
8:39 best part of the whole review.
Corey's laugh always gets me. 🤣
8:39 Cyrus' description and Korey's laugh is priceless.
8:33 - 8:39 And the messed up part is that he's spot on.

Sounds like these books - movie adaptations are becoming MAD LIBS
The books are awesome!
The movie was shit. But I'm still holding out hope for the sequel later this year.
13:34 to 14:15, did that part actually happened the film?

Even when you explain it, it sounds stupid.
