Hii patricia I found your videos very helpful and informative...plz keep up the good work😊👌 I am continuing my dive programmes with SSI ..i completed my level 2 and planning for the AOW.. Hope to dive with your guidance sometime
Yes yes yes yes yessssssss. There are many other unaccounted for things you need to learn under an experienced instructor before being in that new environment. It changes how you dive and take a while to get used to, and learning how to troubleshoot and solve common problems. Plus, if you want to rent a dry suit, you'll need the cert anyway. Not getting trained to do a deadly sport and just going on your own devices seems rather foolish to me, lol. But that's just me. 🤷♀️😅 (not calling _you_ out, but anyone with any such idea, which many people actually live out, and lead to catastrophic results. Lol.)
to allow a layer of warm air and allow your thermal clothing to stay uncompressed and work. Without air in your drysuit, the water pressuer outside the suit will compress the suit against your skin and your body heat will move quickly to the outside of the material. You will be dry but very very cold. With air you can maintain your insulation.
@@nanana-xb6sl: Absolutley in climates like the UK or lake diving where temperatures are low but possible to dive in a wet, or semi dry suit, but much more comfortable in the dry suit.
@@nanana-xb6sl Yes it is worth it if you have a good instructor. I learnt the hard way without a course by trial and error. I spent many dives with my feet elavated trying to get in a good trim position. You can learn by watching many RUclips videos and practice in the water but expect alot of awkward dives.
