RE4R was so satisfying to play. And the way the game is structured, it incentivizes you to play through multiple times. Hell, I ended up getting all the achievements and STILL wanted to play through again and again. It's so fun. Hopefully Capcom and other gaming studios in general realize that a well structured game that is rewarding to the player is all it takes to make $$$. Not simply pushing microtransactions. I would still love to see RE5 remade, I don't think it gets enough love.
The gameplay of RE4R just keeps you coming back man yeah and it's one of the reasons I would have loved and extra difficulty, 5R could be sick if it has this gameplay.
@@Tastymond agreed. Like a Nightmare/Inferno mode. Because once you buy the infinite rocket launcher and give Ashley her armor, the game becomes too easy even on professional. Unless of course you are doing the S+ professional run, which gave me quite a challenge. More DLC would be awesome as well. Separate Ways was great while it lasted and the Mercenaries game mode is fun but I already want more lol
Well the OG is one of the most influencial games in the history of gaming yeah so they cant exactly do that again but man this game is a very good Remake that I enjoy more than the OG now tbh.
From where I'm standing, it looks like Capcom realized that a faithful but good remake, and a complete game remake that doesn't cut any corners, is profitable. And hopefully that means we'll get Veronica soon. Ish; soonish.
The likely remakes to come are Veronica, Zero, and 5. Highly unlikely is another RE1 Remake as the current RE1 remake is still seen as the gold standard for remakes. Sorry to the "RE1 OTS remake when" crowd.
@Tastymond Maybe, but I just don't see it since the current remake is so easily available still unlike RE2, 3, 4, and CV which are harder to run on modern systems or haven't seen re-makes at all. Zero is only likely because like CVX it would benefit from a proper remake to fix some of its flaws. Buy truth told I'm kinda sick of every horror game using the same OTS system and controls and would love to see a modern take on fixed cameras, if only for sake of being different.
@@CommanderRedEXE The only reason RE1 Remake might still get another remake I feel is because it's still essentially a part of the old games/canon if you get what I mean whereas the new Remakes are a part of the RE7 onwards lore. I think a modern take on fixed camera could happen tbh in the form of a deluxe remaster similar to Dead Rising that just happened, they asked if people would like to see deluxe remasters for RE on their surveys.
I know right, seems very few titles reach crazy numbers quick even though RE is super popular. Only Zelda and the Plumber reaching some crazy numbers these days.
I'd rather they give us a Resident Evil 2 Remake directors cut with proper A+B scenarios, fixed angle option, and a zapping system where the actions of one have consequences on the other and also a Resident Evil 3 Remake directors cut which includes all the content they removed.

I hope RE9 don't be like RE7 and RE8, I honestly didn't like all the witches, werewolves, hallucinations, dude that bends metals stuff. I just want to see my favorite franchise succeed.

RE2 Remake took time and it's now the best selling game of the franchise
