I think you're missing the fact that the actual heart of "Facts" goes directly after the horrid side of Hip-Hop / Rap culture in a way that EVERYONE That distributes music cannot agree with (or they admit to be profiting off of "hate speech" and "perpetuating violence". I guess maybe Tom's first line about "Only 2 genders" can be considered anti-LGBTwhatever, but the song certainly takes less shots at "wokeness" than some of Tom's songs.

@@hisbean Here are some of my thoughts on the whole drama. Sorry it’s a long post so you may not want to take the time. Understandable!
It’s been sad to see people that are big fans of both feeling like they have to pick sides. I have seen some expressing disappointment with some of Ryan’s actions but still like his music. Of course I’m biased but I’ve felt a good bit of negativity coming from Ryan’s fans especially for Tom’s fans. Before, I’ve always felt welcomed as HOG in Ryan’s comment sections, much less so now. I’ve seen some of Tom’s fans display some negativity too but many of them are trying to disengage from the drama, a skill I want to get better at.
Ryan has lots of good songs. He even released a song just a couple of weeks ago but fans have been requesting the diss track heavily on reactions to Tom’s new song instead. It would be one thing if the fan bases were not so shared or if the diss track was made as just some rap battle trash talking that guys do. By Ryan’s own words, it was made to tear down Tom and by the same token his fans. My belief, by some of Tom’s past lyrics, is that Tom won’t ever respond and use Ryan’s name. I’m hoping he doesn’t and I’ve seen many of HOG that agree. I don’t want to see Tom making the fans of both artists feel even more divided. I also don’t want to see him taking shots at a man that has had to deal with the fairly recent backstabbing by family and friends that Ryan has talked about. I would respect Tom more for not responding back with something aimed directly at Ryan but I know that isn’t a view that is shared by many.
The thing is, the only minds Ryan may be changing about Tom are ones that weren’t that big of a Tom fan anyway. It’s coming across as just more hate that Tom is getting that fans can point to as evidence of everyone’s out to get him. Maybe we’ll get an Everybody Hates Me part 2. “Everybody hates me and I only know cause I read it. And I’d hate y’all too if it that bothered me. But honestly I don’t let it, yeah” 👍🏼
And lastly, neither of these men are perfect nor villains and as a whole, neither fan bases is in a better mental state because of the beef.
