It was 94' I was 8 years old...my older brother had got sentenced to 4 years in prison for a robbery he didn't commit..While he was gone I went rambling in his room,went under his bed..he had shoe boxes full of CD's and cassettes..I grabbed his radio n CDs and took the stuff to my room...at the time I wasn't in to music like that, I was a Mario 3 addict..I used to watch rap city hosted by joe clair..and at the time I knew of Nas ,because that "it ain't hard to tell" video was getting played crazy...but I lie to yal not..This first album I ever listened to was that illmatic album and I've followed Nas ever since...its been a long a ride as a fan, I've even went on crusades converting people into Nas fans lol...I think about all that, n listen to this KD3 album and it all just makes sense...I knew at 8 years old this guy was different....

About a week ago I was driving listening to kings disease 2 COMPLETELY UNAWARE that there was KD3 release. Started listening was pleasantly surprised but when I got to this track, I damn near crashed. I was like YO NAS THIS YOU?????!!!! Damn this album been on repeat at least 7 times. Man I could cry. Can’t remember a rap album I liked this much. Hell I even bought kd3 LP. And that’s coming from a guy who’s never bought a rap album in my life (LP). Proud of this work and his accomplishment
