Great video. With Julie as speaker, tour of George Washington’s ancestral home, fantastic. Rewilding tour, absolutely gorgeous. What a wonderful idea to take a tour on one’s own, but with the ability, to look up information on one’s phone. Suggest they bring a backpack with water and snacks and to carry out all debris. ❤

Julie you really are becoming an amazing ambassador not only for raising awareness about the history and need to support the up keep of so many British stately homes and castles, but also for the incredible historic links between Britain and America that are interwoven into that history. Also, I am really enjoying Luke and Ben's rewilding journey/adventures, but most important question, are there any updates on the whereabouts of the Mapperton beavers?

I live in Virginia, not far from another ancestral home of George Washington. Warner Hall in Gloucester, Co. was the home of Augustine Warner, George Washington's great, great grandfather who arrived in Jamestown in 1642 and was given a land grant of 600 acres. Queen Elizabeth II was also a descendant of Augustine Warner through the family of her mother, the Bowes-Lyons.

@@MappertonLive P.S. I admit I don't read comments, so I'm assuming someone has suggested this to you already. You mentioned the possibility of giving some talks in the United States. Have you considered visiting Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina (built between 1889 and 1895) for a tour...and you could, in some ways, overlay Alberta's story with George Vanderbilt's story and then eventually how the house was opened to the public in the 1930s. I think it would be a great episode for Mapperton Live and American Viscountess. :-)
