Hey, Jack! Professional strength and conditioning coach here! Believe it or not, even that 1cm gain in arms in just a couple months is pretty solid regardless of only doing pushups. The chest gains are definitely noticeable and that measurement change is significant! Keep up the work!
Also, his basic knowledge and use of correct terms surprised me. It's obvious that he did proper research and it's good to see people learning for themselves. And the last bit of advice he gave is top class; that's how you end a fitness challenge video.
Jack is pretty smart, judging by his analytics videos and Researches things well. Good job Jack! Although I’m twice his age I’m excited that I can do 10 Diamond pushups lol
Man, this is just the coolest, most inspiring thing. Extremely impressive feat (both the physical challenge, and the courage to upload). I admire the crap outta you!
Bro great job! That's it, never give up! I could clearly see you getting more and more toned as the video was going. Health always has to be our number 1 priority. Not money.
actually really enjoyed this - its nice seeing Jack branch out and do different things. Also as an old-ish fan (started in 2019) I never realised how skinny Jack was earlier so even this starting point is impressive. Well done!
Genuinely really inspiring video. I have this problem where every time I got to work out I end up over exerting myself and then stop working out all together. Seeing you actually incorporate a ton of rest days into your schedule makes me want to try again
This is the motivation I've needed! I was once extremely fit and cycled 300km+ a week and rode Bmx after finishing all my road cycling in my teen years but over the years going I've slowly let myself go and finding it hard to find the time to make room for exercise after running business. I'm going to make it my goal to match jacks efforts so if someone sees this on December 28th make me accountable. Today being day one in total I did 25 push ups, longest I could do in a set was 6, hope to see if I stick to it. Thank you for your inspiration to motivate myself!
One week in, as if this morning can now do 25 pushups in a single set, current pushup count is 384! Thanks Jack for the inspiration to restart my fitness journey
You know what, Thank You Jack! I've always been bullied and picked on for being skinny and underweight, and ive tried a few times to try 'bulk up abit' but i just end up really unmotivated. However youve given ne the motivation to actually do something, maybe I should also film & document my progress to motivate me more 🤷♂️ Much appreciated though Jack, and as much as this us a different style of video from you, i really enjoyed it and would love to see more like this from you
motivation will ALWAYS leave, no matter what. Learn discipline (Doing something you hate, like you love it). Motivation usually comes and goes, discipline stays
good stuff jack. very impressed to hear that you actually had a really good understanding of overall how to body build through training multiple muscle groups, knowing what muscles pushups worked, knowing you need protein - despite never going to a gym before. clearly shows you did your research which is great to hear because its a good indicator you won't give up. for the future, instead of only doing pushups, definetly start going to the gym and training all your muscles. I'd recommend a "push pull legs" split Like for example: Push day: Chest, Shoulders, Triceps Pull day: Back, Biceps Legs: Quads, Hamstrings, Glutes, and calves. Then rest day that will give you a strong all round physique over time. Anyway goodluck with your fitness journey, lemme know if you have any questions
Never thought I would see a video from you again! I watched your videos when I was 10 which were trolling hackers on your server Now I am 17 and haven’t watched you in maybe 5 years but I could get behind watching your strength journey
Jack, I'm really digging the more personal and vlog-type videos (such as this one and the upside down house one.) We really get to see a side of you that we usually don't in the reddit videos or the play button videos, and I really want more. Amazing video!
I loved this video, I haven’t watched your channel for the most part since you did minecraft, and this is really up my alley. Awesome video, I like fitness and irl content, games and the like don’t really interest me, but this reminds me of other youtubers I like in entirely new categories. I feel like this could be a new beginning.
This was honestly a really inspiring video to watch. Kind of makes me want to get back into proper exercise again. Pop off Jack on putting himself out there and also with his improvements.
Jack you did so great! Keep going. And also a really helpful video for people who aren't into fitness yet. It's simple but well explained what you did, what's good to add and how you handled the situation with the pains/injuries. The simplicity of the explanation is very helpful and i hope you can inspire many more! Also a few tips from my own journey for you or for your audience: it's always good to have someone to keep you accountable. Can be a coach or friend/training partner. Don't forget that food, and rest (sleep) are as important as training itself to get results. And if things are not going well, you make a mistake, get sick or lose track on it, remember that it's way more important that you keep going on the long term. It's okay to lose track on it sometimes, but if you always get back on track as soon as possible and think more in long term, it will be all okay. And be never ashamed to ask for help. Most of the times, the biggest bodybuilders in the gym are also the most willing to help. I wish everyone who wants a healthy lifestyle the courage to start with it. 1 step at a time! You all got this! ;)
