Add also the fact that Flowey could still be considered a child mentally. Psychopathic, genocidal, but also deeply traumatised child. You can actually see his mentality in the pacifist final fight. Trying to forcefully keep you around for his entertainment, his "God of HYPERDEATH" form sounds like something a child would come up with while playing.
I think Papyrus would be a pretty good parent to be honest. Like, right under Toriel good. Sure, he doesn't seem to know about a lot of things, but he would surely get thousands upon thousands of parenting books and ask for help when he needs it. He would also help you acheive all of your goals, he doesn't seem like the kind of person to sugar-coat the truth (at least not TOO much), he would literally never stop believing in you, he'd teach you to be a good person, he would probably learn how to cook better because of you, he'd teach you how to fight and while he'd probably go a bit easy on you you'd still be a child so it's okay, and you'd have the bonus of Uncle Sans and Aunt Undyne. (I might be a bit biased because Papyrus is my favourite but shhhh)
There's a webtoon similar to that. it's called TFH (the first human,) and it's about the soul of patience, a young and sweet girl named Marine, falling into the underground shortly after asriel and chara's death and flowey takes her with him and tries to get her to fight which she is not good at, basically.

Personally I think Toriel and Asgore both have a lot of things they need to sort out (and therapy they need to go to) before being fully entrusted to another kid. I'd choose Undyne tbh.
Undyne is protective towards monster kid and even sacrificed herself to save him, papyrus on the other hand would pretty much be like alphys: trying his best.
Asgore’s (and toriel’s honestly) parenting only seems to have 2 major flaws: his tendency to put immense pressure and responsibility on literal children (ie making chara THE branch between humans and monsters/making Frisk an ambassador position when they’re realistically no older than 13) and their seeming inability to deal with mental issues (neither asgore nor toriel noticed Charas plans in Undertale, and toriel downplaying Kris’ worrying behaviors with general resignment rather than actually being proactive) I still think they’re by far the best parents on this list though, even if they’ve both got issues
I don't think Asgore intended to put that responsibility on Chara till they were much older though. But ideally you would want to tell someone that they're going to have to do something very important in the future as early as possible so they're mentally prepared for it once the time comes. I sincerely doubt he actually expected a literal child to do anything at least until they came of age. Chara was just an impatient person and decided to pull the pin on the grenade way too early and before anyone was ready. Your other criticisms stand though, but I very highly doubt Chara was expected to actually do anything until they were much older.
@@Yuni-is-Schrodingers-Fox It doesn't really matter that Asgore didn't mean to put that responsibility on them. He had good intentions, but telling a kid that from a young age is placing them on a pedestal that they will feel forced to live up to. With Chara already having severe mental health issues, it was a recipe for disaster, and was absolutely a factor in Chara's eventual suicide. The worst part of it is that, because Asgore didn't realize it was a suicide, he learned absolutely nothing and proceeded to do exactly the same thing to Frisk, pushing upon them the responsibility of freeing monsterkind before committing suicide himself(because killing yourself is definitely not a traumatic experience for any children watching, y'know?)
The mental health stuff also applies to Asriel, who felt his parents didn't understand him(hence why he was so close with Chara, the only person he felt *did* understand him), and explictly felt like Asgore, at least, played favorites. Toriel also keeps pushing Kris into Asriel's shadow by constantly praising him, which is not a recipe for healthy familial relationships, nor are her open attempts to drive a wedge between her children and their father. And of course, they're also terrible at dealing with their own mental health issues. Soooo many of the Dreemurr's problems could have been solved with therapy. Another thing that you didn't touch on is Toriel's drinking problem. She's not a full blown alcoholic, but the fact that Flowey had to take care of her on at least one occasion is concerning, because that's her child taking care of her. Similarly, Kris' empty side of the room is confirmed to not be from Toriel not loving Kris, the Dreemurrs are very loving parents, but it's still concerning that they have clearly made no effort to learn about Kris' interests and help them with them. This is especially concerning if you believe in universal mother theory(the idea that Queen is representative of all the main cast's mothers, rather than just Noelle's. Notably, Queen and Toriel's shared drinking problems are part of the evidence for this.), because Queen states that one of her reasons for liking Kris is how bland and unopinionated they can come across as.
Asgore unwillingly put pressure on Chara, saying to them that they are the future of the monsters, this led character to sacrifice themself in order to fullfill the prophecy to free the monsters and we know how it ended... He still a good dad but he has this flaw

Okay I don't think THAT was what he had in mind though. I think Asgore wanted Chara to just be like, an ambassador to go the surface when they came of age (likely sacrificing his own life to allow them to do so) and bid for humans to break the seal. Chara just pulled the pin on the grenade way too early before they were at all ready.. and they hated humans so it was a flawed plan to begin with. Were Asgore not in such a precarious spot I think he'd be a lot more chill (just look at Deltarune)
Fun fact: throughout all of Undertale asgore is the one and only character I never tried to kill, in his fight I literally tried everything to spare him until giving and would definitely love to have him as parent And while I do agree sans wouldn’t be the best parent he does have some experience from raising papyrus I guess and I feel like part of the reason he didn’t really do anything to help frisk in the underground is because his awareness of resets and knowing they would always come back, and this just a hunch of mine but during the talk at MTT resort he literally says you haven’t died have you? Like he’s trying to tease you

I personally believe Muffet would be lower than Flowey if she was on this list. At least with Flowey you aren't guaranteed to die before reaching the age of 3.
Muffet is literally a cannibal and the entire reason you are able to kill monsters in hotland and core in the Geno route (she has new dialogue in genocide if you don't fight her, which demonstrates that she's the reason not everybody has evacuated)
Papyrus is under Undyne's influence, and given the bridge "puzzle" is capable of making dangerous traps. Which in my opinion would put him a little lower than Undyne. I don't doubt he'd be kind and caring and all, but I'm just imagining him making one of those baby fences to make sure they can't get into dangerous areas, and leaving the gaps abnormally wide. I'd put Toriel lower since being her kid seems suffocating, but honestly she WOULD be the best parent sans Asgore on this list based off experience alone
In Mettaton’s defense, his shows in Hotland can’t actually kill you. Like even if you take damage on purpose he cuts the damage in half until you get to 1 and ends the battle, ‘cause he’s playing along with Alphys’ plan. Although you can die to Mettaton EX and to the CORE mercenaries he said he hired. I’d still rank him pretty low though, he doesn’t really seem like the kid-type.
As someone who's always been the careful and cautious family member, I feel like personally, Undyne as a mom is something I could definitely handle. Plus, I'd learn to fight! She'd definitely be my personal choice.
Regarding mettaton, he's actually not as bad. In the end of the game he actually understood his mistakes if I remember things right, and overall he actually cares for Napstablook, showing that he's not as "dumb" and egoistical. He's better than Sans at least.

In all honesty, Sans *could* be a good Dad- the key word is, *could* . Sans just holds a fatalistic view of things, something that... figuring what he is aware of- makes sense. However, we know how much he cares about Pap, and I would honestly imagine that if he were to be entrusted to take care of a child, he *would* step up- Plus- considering how well rounded Papyrus is, and presuming that he *is* the younger brother, I seriously think that Sans has *some* experience in child care-
I totally agree with this. Sans and Papyrus are the only skeletons that we know of in the underground, which means both their parents were either bad parents and Sans took Papyrus away from them or they died. Either way, Sans raised Papyrus and if he were given a child to care for, he'd step up pretty quickly...half because Papyrus begged him to and half because he knows Papyrus will not be able to care for a child alone.
One thing about living with asgore is that not only will you have dead children in your basement but you'd also likely have many monsters just walk into your house
Honestly, i know it will sound weird but I think the best combination of parents i will choose is Undyne and Asgore personaly because i will have an aggressive mother but i will have kind father as well, Undyne is funny to me but she will always put my lazy butt to work and defend my self. Asgore on the other hand he has a very good kind heart who will guide me through this wrold. So yeah...

i would say if you ignore the whole crimes against kanako thing ceroba seems like the most well rounded parent- martlet would be very loving but slightly incompetent, starlo would be lots of fun but i see him as more of a big brother, dalv is more of a friend than any sorta guardian so i think martlet wait, axis best dad

Papyrus i feel would be interesting as a parent I think he'd try his hardest to be a good parent and for the most part succeed but then mr. "SPIKES. DANGER BRIDGES. THE PILLARS OF YOUTH", "A REAL TEACHER...WOULD NEVER ACCEPT DEADLY LASERS AS AN EXCUSE!!" And "KIDS LOVE DEADLY SPIKES!!!" Might put a child in harms way i wouldn't be surprised if he commonly woke his child up at like 2am to fight ontop of roof tops as some sort of training whist using his special attack (if it is a gaster blaster) as a bludgeoning weapon

Also, think he would be a somewhat better parent than stated. Of course, he would still likely be far from perfect, and it would be somewhat questionable if he would make a "good parent". Especially in situations where there would be no one else to take care of the child. However, there is also still a chance he would leave you on someone's doorstep, not able to be bothered to care for anyone else but his brother. xD
I don't know about Toriel.. She lost not one, or two, but -eight- around three children at least (that we know off) and attacked the ninth with a flamethrower!
In all fairness she can't really be blamed for all of those. Chara killed themself, and whether parents are responsible for their children committing suicide is a VERY nuanced question, truth be told, so I hesitate to call it her fault. Asriel only died because humans suck and he was too kind to defend himself, and realistically it's unclear if she knew that the other fallen humans would die upon leaving the ruins. The soul of patience did die IN the ruins, so that one's definetly on her, and eventually she clearly does suspect they're dead, so I'd say that only around the soul of perseverance can she really be blamed for letting the kids leave the ruins. Then yeah, attacking frisk was a shit move and is probably classified as child abuse, so...I guess that's realistically only 3 or 4 who's deaths she could reasonably have predicted and stopped. And one she attacked with a fucking flamethrower.

sans as strange it sounds should be higher than [PAPAYAS AND THE FISH] since sans that do everything in his own house like: he built paps bed, he created paps armor, he put paps in his "TRAINING", he was the one who actually pay the bills of his house(unlike paps that not does anything since he is a child.)
I would like to see a delta version as even tho some characters return, they lived different lives like papyrus seems very young to have a babysitter (like UT papyrus dose not need one showing he might be very young.) so deltarunes sans could be a good parent with being able to already watch a kid (probably) and having a job, and toriel is not as wanting you to stay forever… could also be interesting where the new characters place at too.
If it’s only 1 character toriel but if it’s 2 probably papyrus and sans, sans would probably be a fun parent that would keep you entertained and papyrus would just be the best to keep you motivated.
There is ONE major flaw that both number 1 & 2 share: Both Asgore and Toriel don’t know how to handle a child who is anything except normal. We don’t know much about Chara, though we know enough about them to say they are CLEARLY mentally ill. When both Asriel and Chara accidentally poisoned Asgore when they made a butterscotch pie for him Chara just laughed it off. And we can also see in Deltarune that Toriel is STILL overbearing and both her and Asgore just can’t seem to recognize that Kris is also mentally ill and don’t know how to handle them. This is part of the reason both Chara and Asriel died. So until they realize this and learn how to recognize and deal with the mentally ill Nether Asgore or TORIEL can TRUELY learn from their mistakes as parents and could possibly make that same mistake with a third.
My apologies for sending requests 2 weeks late, but I have some ideas for what to rank; Which Undertale character is the best cook/baker? (Since the game does feature and reference cooking and baking throughout the game) Either which Deltarune variant of the Undertale characters is most likely to get in the Dark World or which character would likely survive in the Dark World (I know that if you seen Deltarune Chapter 2, you would be aware that ONE of the characters would be in the dark world later on, and there’s not a lot of info about the Deltarune version of Papyrus yet, but I think that it’s not a bad idea of talking about what if the undertale characters happen to be in the dark world. So, maybe save this idea when all 7 chapters have been released? Idk) Which Undertale Character do you believe to be the most flanderized? (I know that this question shouldn’t count as a ranking video, but I still want to hear your thoughts on the fanon versions of the Undertale cast!). But he also may just kill the child for their soul, or manipulate them into doing terrible things for his entertainment, because "that would be something new".
Video idea: what most of the undertale community thinks is cannon but is not cannon. Example: sans having one hp is such a popular meme to the point where some people believe it is a real fact. It is never stated that sans has 1 hp in the game
likely asgore, he's not as overprotective as toriel and we see how much he tries to be a good father for kris despite toriel being an ass and seemingly stopping asgore from interacting with his kids.
Honestly, I think Sans deserves to be much higher on this list. Yes, he struggles with motivation but when push comes to shove he's there, especially if it's for Papyrus, the person he cares about most.
I feel you're underestimating Papyrus here. Yes, he may not know how dates work, but I feel that has nothing to do with raising a child. He's obviously really smart with the complex puzzles he can make and definitely would know how to take care of a kid. He of course also has the heart to take care of one too, with how kind and caring he can be. The main downside really is that he also has a love for fighting like Undyne, just through friendly spars and not intense battles. That could lead to a lot of injuries for the kid, but they will most likely be just some cuts and scraps, nothing too bad. He is a little be too kind, going off the Genocide route, but I doubt that'll be a problem. Then again, he's still friends with Flowey, so that friendship might be harmful to the kid.
man, toriel seems the most likely in a potential scenario as she lierally has a room for any fallen child, food, water and cares about people. if asgore didnt have a grudge then the toriel leaving wouldnt happen and asgore would help.
Why not have both Undyne and Papyrus? You have someone who is competent, but also one to reduce the danger. And with Alphys, these three can.be an amazing trio. And we already have the funcle Sans and funcle Mettaton.

I'm going to say my personal opinions on this video. Don't take this seriously. 7. Not surprised when it comes to Flowey since he is a child himself. 6. Mettaton would probably neglect the child because they are way too busy to take care of one. They would probably just hire someone to take care of the child. 5. Sans feels like a fun dad. If he's alone, I would say he's not the greatest parent. However, he does live with his brother. They might be good together. 4. I'll talk about Undyne first. She is a warrior parent, so the child would look up to them. I do feel like she would be able to step up to be a parent. She does care about children's saftey if you remember what Undyne said to Monster kid in the genocide route. The same problem lines with Mettaton. She would probably be too busy to take care of a child. She might need someone's help. 4. Papyrus will be a loving and caring parent, but he feels like a babysitter more than anything. He can't really cook or do much to provide the child with support. 3. Alphys would probably be a nervous wreck. She would try to probably control the child's life. She might be good with Undyne, but not by herself. 2. Toriel isn't a good parent. She negects one to favor the other. In undertale, that would be Chara over Asriel. In deltarune, that would be Asriel over Kris. She also has a bit of a drinking problem and that makes her kids take care of her (if you know from the alarm clock dialogue). She also can't support a child's interest IF it's not her favorite child. 1. Asgore loves his family, but he can't provide either. In deltarune, he gives his flowers away instead of selling them. "Well he doesn't need to in undertale." They may be the case, but we don't know if he'll stay king. He is the best parent, but he also favors his kids in undertale (not so much in deltarune). Who would I chose to be my parents? I'll say Undyne and Alphys. If they work together, I bet they will be able to provide and support the child. Thanks for reading.
he unironically reminds me a lot of my dad. mainly because my dad is the type of dad that tells jokes all the time, and constantly tries to annoy you with them. he used to drive me crazy as a kid. sans is already peak annoying older brother, hed totally be an annoying dad.
I think you should try to branch out into other games and see if that goes well for you or maybe do some videos on undertale yellow since it has a full game now and could be made into some pretty good videos simular to these ones that's just my opinion though i have been working a redone version of toasttale and a new version of toast sans so it would be cool to see some other games or videos on some undertale fangames or even gameplays of those i know the toasttale thing is unrelated though it would be cool to see you cover toasttale: renewed once it's finished
I personally would rate Alphys lower down as she did put frisk into danger just for her to seem like a hero to them. And didn't really get the position of royal scientist fairly
How I see undertale characters as parents/guardians Flowey - F teir (he wouldn't be the best parent/guardian at all.) Nabstablook - High C teir (he wouldn't be the worst parent. He actually has some pretty good living spaces. Also his flaws is he is a doormat.) Toriel - low A. (She would mostly be a good parent minus the fact she tried to be a bit too controlling.) Sans - D teir (his pros are he would likely go after the person who killed you or even give some points in happiness. Other than that he is pretty incompetent in protecting you and wouldn't really be best with helping you. Think della duck in the ducktales reboot as soon as she came home.) Papyrus - B teir (he actually has the points for likely teaching you how to have a heart or even be seen as an unintentionally comedic dad figure. His only flaws is he wouldn't know certain basic tasks and would likely ask for help. Overall he would be competent is providing happiness.) Undyne - A teir (minus her accidentally setting fire to her house she would probably teach you how to defend yourself. The genocide route and pacifist/neutral route shows that when monster kid was in lufe threatening danger. She feels like if she was handled a child she would actually be seen as pretty strong and almost a mentor figure. Honestly her pros outweigh the cons.) Mad dummy - F (he shouldn't be trusted with a child. He can be shown as kind of phyco. Heck! If he was raising a baby then the child will have anger issues.) Alphys - High B low A (she actually would be pretty competent but wouldn't really be able to teach you about problem solving.) Mettaton - low C (I'd see him more of someone who would probably show his care on screen mostly because cuteness would bring in views. His cons would be he might put you in life threatening situations or be absolutely chaotic.) Muffet - High C low B (she would provide a lot of food but wouldn't be a great influence. However she would be OK at protection. I guess she could make some clothes out of webbing but wouldn't be the best at kindness teachings.) Asgore - S tier (he has actually a lot of pros that outweigh his one con of killing 6 children. However he has a lot of ways to not have you go down the similar way to his other 2 children.)

Besides if they were tasked to take care of a baby sans would be likely to loose the baby meanwhile mettaton would mostly be recording himself with the baby. I'm saying that for a kid above the age 5 sans would still be incompetent meanwhile mettaton would probably be the celebrity he is and probably do stunts with the said kid.

also you have to remember sans relationship with frisk (a human from the surface world that can and sometimes will easily destroy the universe) would be a lot different than his own child. If ‘RP server’ is referring to making a Roblox game, you should have a really good map built along with a large assortment of characters you can play as. When it comes to an ‘RP server’ like on Discord or something just invite people and it should spread. I’ve never really ran my own server or anything so I don’t know too much.

Alright but the idea of Flowey raising a child to become his partner in crime is... deeply disturbing, but it also sounds like a cool plot.
There's a webtoon similar to that. it's called TFH (the first human,) and it's about the soul of patience, a young and sweet girl named Marine, falling into the underground shortly after asriel and chara's death and flowey takes her with him and tries to get her to fight which she is not good at, basically.
Flowey is a CHILD that turned into a flower. He doesn't know anything about parenthood because he died as a child.

Asgore’s (and toriel’s honestly) parenting only seems to have 2 major flaws: his tendency to put immense pressure and responsibility on literal children (ie making chara THE branch between humans and monsters/making Frisk an ambassador position when they’re realistically no older than 13) and their seeming inability to deal with mental issues (neither asgore nor toriel noticed Charas plans in Undertale, and toriel downplaying Kris’ worrying behaviors with general resignment rather than actually being proactive) I still think they’re by far the best parents on this list though, even if they’ve both got issues
I don't think Asgore intended to put that responsibility on Chara till they were much older though. But ideally you would want to tell someone that they're going to have to do something very important in the future as early as possible so they're mentally prepared for it once the time comes. I sincerely doubt he actually expected a literal child to do anything at least until they came of age. Chara was just an impatient person and decided to pull the pin on the grenade way too early and before anyone was ready.
Your other criticisms stand though, but I very highly doubt Chara was expected to actually do anything until they were much older.
@@Yuni-is-Schrodingers-Fox It doesn't really matter that Asgore didn't mean to put that responsibility on them. He had good intentions, but telling a kid that from a young age is placing them on a pedestal that they will feel forced to live up to. With Chara already having severe mental health issues, it was a recipe for disaster, and was absolutely a factor in Chara's eventual suicide.
The worst part of it is that, because Asgore didn't realize it was a suicide, he learned absolutely nothing and proceeded to do exactly the same thing to Frisk, pushing upon them the responsibility of freeing monsterkind before committing suicide himself(because killing yourself is definitely not a traumatic experience for any children watching, y'know?)
The mental health stuff also applies to Asriel, who felt his parents didn't understand him(hence why he was so close with Chara, the only person he felt *did* understand him), and explictly felt like Asgore, at least, played favorites. Toriel also keeps pushing Kris into Asriel's shadow by constantly praising him, which is not a recipe for healthy familial relationships, nor are her open attempts to drive a wedge between her children and their father.
And of course, they're also terrible at dealing with their own mental health issues. Soooo many of the Dreemurr's problems could have been solved with therapy.
Another thing that you didn't touch on is Toriel's drinking problem. She's not a full blown alcoholic, but the fact that Flowey had to take care of her on at least one occasion is concerning, because that's her child taking care of her.
Similarly, Kris' empty side of the room is confirmed to not be from Toriel not loving Kris, the Dreemurrs are very loving parents, but it's still concerning that they have clearly made no effort to learn about Kris' interests and help them with them. This is especially concerning if you believe in universal mother theory(the idea that Queen is representative of all the main cast's mothers, rather than just Noelle's. Notably, Queen and Toriel's shared drinking problems are part of the evidence for this.), because Queen states that one of her reasons for liking Kris is how bland and unopinionated they can come across as.
Asgore unwillingly put pressure on Chara, saying to them that they are the future of the monsters, this led character to sacrifice themself in order to fullfill the prophecy to free the monsters and we know how it ended... He still a good dad but he has this flaw

Okay I don't think THAT was what he had in mind though. I think Asgore wanted Chara to just be like, an ambassador to go the surface when they came of age (likely sacrificing his own life to allow them to do so) and bid for humans to break the seal. Chara just pulled the pin on the grenade way too early before they were at all ready.. and they hated humans so it was a flawed plan to begin with. Were Asgore not in such a precarious spot I think he'd be a lot more chill (just look at Deltarune)
Fun fact: throughout all of Undertale asgore is the one and only character I never tried to kill, in his fight I literally tried everything to spare him until giving and would definitely love to have him as parent

I personally believe Muffet would be lower than Flowey if she was on this list. At least with Flowey you aren't guaranteed to die before reaching the age of 3.
Muffet is literally a cannibal and the entire reason you are able to kill monsters in hotland and core in the Geno route (she has new dialogue in genocide if you don't fight her, which demonstrates that she's the reason not everybody has evacuated)
Papyrus is under Undyne's influence, and given the bridge "puzzle" is capable of making dangerous traps. Which in my opinion would put him a little lower than Undyne. I don't doubt he'd be kind and caring and all, but I'm just imagining him making one of those baby fences to make sure they can't get into dangerous areas, and leaving the gaps abnormally wide.
I'd put Toriel lower since being her kid seems suffocating, but honestly she WOULD be the best parent sans Asgore on this list based off experience alone

In Mettaton’s defense, his shows in Hotland can’t actually kill you. Like even if you take damage on purpose he cuts the damage in half until you get to 1 and ends the battle, ‘cause he’s playing along with Alphys’ plan. Although you can die to Mettaton EX and to the CORE mercenaries he said he hired. I’d still rank him pretty low though, he doesn’t really seem like the kid-type.
Mettaton is the kind of guy to spoil a child and give them a AK-47 as a toy to “play” with.

As someone who's always been the careful and cautious family member, I feel like personally, Undyne as a mom is something I could definitely handle. Plus, I'd learn to fight! She'd definitely be my personal choice.
Regarding mettaton, he's actually not as bad. In the end of the game he actually understood his mistakes if I remember things right, and overall he actually cares for Napstablook, showing that he's not as "dumb" and egoistical. He's better than Sans at least.

In all honesty, Sans *could* be a good Dad- the key word is, *could* .
Sans just holds a fatalistic view of things, something that... figuring what he is aware of- makes sense. However, we know how much he cares about Pap, and I would honestly imagine that if he were to be entrusted to take care of a child, he *would* step up-

I totally agree with this. Sans and Papyrus are the only skeletons that we know of in the underground, which means both their parents were either bad parents and Sans took Papyrus away from them or they died. Either way, Sans raised Papyrus and if he were given a child to care for, he'd step up pretty quickly...half because Papyrus begged him to and half because he knows Papyrus will not be able to care for a child alone.

THE PILLARS OF YOUTH", "A REAL TEACHER...WOULD NEVER ACCEPT DEADLY LASERS AS AN EXCUSE!!" And "KIDS LOVE DEADLY SPIKES!!!" Also, think he would be a somewhat better parent than stated. Of course, he would still likely be far from perfect, and it would be somewhat questionable if he would make a "good parent". Especially in situations where there would be no one else to take care of the child. However, there is also still a chance he would leave you on someone's doorstep, not able to be bothered to care for anyone else but his brother. xD
I don't know about Toriel.. She lost not one, or two, but -eight- around three children at least (that we know off) and attacked the ninth with a flamethrower!
In all fairness she can't really be blamed for all of those. Chara killed themself, and whether parents are responsible for their children committing suicide is a VERY nuanced question, truth be told, so I hesitate to call it her fault. Asriel only died because humans suck and he was too kind to defend himself, and realistically it's unclear if she knew that the other fallen humans would die upon leaving the ruins. The soul of patience did die IN the ruins, so that one's definetly on her, and eventually she clearly does suspect they're dead, so I'd say that only around the soul of perseverance can she really be blamed for letting the kids leave the ruins. Then yeah, attacking frisk was a shit move and is probably classified as child abuse, so...I guess that's realistically only 3 or 4 who's deaths she could reasonably have predicted and stopped. And one she attacked with a fucking flamethrower.

I would like to see a delta version as even tho some characters return, they lived different lives like papyrus seems very young to have a babysitter (like UT papyrus dose not need one showing he might be very young.) so deltarunes sans could be a good parent with being able to already watch a kid (probably) and having a job, and toriel is not as wanting you to stay forever… could also be interesting where the new characters place at too.
If it’s only 1 character toriel but if it’s 2 probably papyrus and sans, sans would probably be a fun parent that would keep you entertained and papyrus would just be the best to keep you motivated.

There is ONE major flaw that both number 1 & 2 share: Both Asgore and Toriel don’t know how to handle a child who is anything except normal. We don’t know much about Chara, though we know enough about them to say they are CLEARLY mentally ill. When both Asriel and Chara accidentally poisoned Asgore when they made a butterscotch pie for him Chara just laughed it off. And we can also see in Deltarune that Toriel is STILL overbearing and both her and Asgore just can’t seem to recognize that Kris is also mentally ill and don’t know how to handle them. This is part of the reason both Chara and Asriel died. So until they realize this and learn how to recognize and deal with the mentally ill Nether Asgore or TORIEL can TRUELY learn from their mistakes as parents and could possibly make that same mistake with a third.
To be fair to them, that's still better than all the other Undertale characters

Which Undertale character is the best cook/baker? (Since the game does feature and reference cooking and baking throughout the game)
Either which Deltarune variant of the Undertale characters is most likely to get in the Dark World or which character would likely survive in the Dark World (I know that if you seen Deltarune Chapter 2, you would be aware that ONE of the characters would be in the dark world later on, and there’s not a lot of info about the Deltarune version of Papyrus yet, but I think that it’s not a bad idea of talking about what if the undertale characters happen to be in the dark world. So, maybe save this idea when all 7 chapters have been released? Idk)

Honestly, I think Sans deserves to be much higher on this list. Yes, he struggles with motivation but when push comes to shove he's there, especially if it's for Papyrus, the person he cares about most.
I feel you're underestimating Papyrus here. Yes, he may not know how dates work, but I feel that has nothing to do with raising a child. He's obviously really smart with the complex puzzles he can make and definitely would know how to take care of a kid. He of course also has the heart to take care of one too, with how kind and caring he can be. The main downside really is that he also has a love for fighting like Undyne, just through friendly spars and not intense battles. That could lead to a lot of injuries for the kid, but they will most likely be just some cuts and scraps, nothing too bad. He is a little be too kind, going off the Genocide route, but I doubt that'll be a problem. Then again, he's still friends with Flowey, so that friendship might be harmful to the kid.

4. I'll talk about Undyne first. She is a warrior parent, so the child would look up to them. I do feel like she would be able to step up to be a parent. She does care about children's saftey if you remember what Undyne said to Monster kid in the genocide route. The same problem lines with Mettaton. She would probably be too busy to take care of a child. She might need someone's help.
4. Papyrus will be a loving and caring parent, but he feels like a babysitter more than anything. He can't really cook or do much to provide the child with support.
3. Alphys would probably be a nervous wreck. She would try to probably control the child's life. She might be good with Undyne, but not by herself.
2. Toriel isn't a good parent. She negects one to favor the other. In undertale, that would be Chara over Asriel. In deltarune, that would be Asriel over Kris. She also has a bit of a drinking problem and that makes her kids take care of her (if you know from the alarm clock dialogue). She also can't support a child's interest IF it's not her favorite child.
1. Asgore loves his family, but he can't provide either. In deltarune, he gives his flowers away instead of selling them. "Well he doesn't need to in undertale." They may be the case, but we don't know if he'll stay king. He is the best parent, but he also favors his kids in undertale (not so much in deltarune).
Who would I chose to be my parents? I'll say Undyne and Alphys. If they work together, I bet they will be able to provide and support the child.

he unironically reminds me a lot of my dad. mainly because my dad is the type of dad that tells jokes all the time, and constantly tries to annoy you with them. he used to drive me crazy as a kid. sans is already peak annoying older brother, hed totally be an annoying dad.
I think you should try to branch out into other games and see if that goes well for you or maybe do some videos on undertale yellow since it has a full game now and could be made into some pretty good videos simular to these ones that's just my opinion though i have been working a redone version of toasttale and a new version of toast sans so it would be cool to see some other games or videos on some undertale fangames or even gameplays of those i know the toasttale thing is unrelated though it would be cool to see you cover toasttale: renewed once it's finished

Flowey - F teir (he wouldn't be the best parent/guardian at all.)
Nabstablook - High C teir (he wouldn't be the worst parent. He actually has some pretty good living spaces. Also his flaws is he is a doormat.)
Toriel - low A. (She would mostly be a good parent minus the fact she tried to be a bit too controlling.)
Sans - D teir (his pros are he would likely go after the person who killed you or even give some points in happiness. Other than that he is pretty incompetent in protecting you and wouldn't really be best with helping you. Think della duck in the ducktales reboot as soon as she came home.)
Papyrus - B teir (he actually has the points for likely teaching you how to have a heart or even be seen as an unintentionally comedic dad figure. His only flaws is he wouldn't know certain basic tasks and would likely ask for help. Overall he would be competent is providing happiness.)
Undyne - A teir (minus her accidentally setting fire to her house she would probably teach you how to defend yourself. The genocide route and pacifist/neutral route shows that when monster kid was in lufe threatening danger. She feels like if she was handled a child she would actually be seen as pretty strong and almost a mentor figure. Honestly her pros outweigh the cons.)
Mad dummy - F (he shouldn't be trusted with a child. He can be shown as kind of phyco. Heck! If he was raising a baby then the child will have anger issues.)
Alphys - High B low A (she actually would be pretty competent but wouldn't really be able to teach you about problem solving.)
Mettaton - low C (I'd see him more of someone who would probably show his care on screen mostly because cuteness would bring in views. His cons would be he might put you in life threatening situations or be absolutely chaotic.)
Muffet - High C low B (she would provide a lot of food but wouldn't be a great influence. However she would be OK at protection. I guess she could make some clothes out of webbing but wouldn't be the best at kindness teachings.)
Asgore - S tier (he has actually a lot of pros that outweigh his one con of killing 6 children. However he has a lot of ways to not have you go down the similar way to his other 2 children.)
there is no way you put mettaton above sans. mettaton 100% would not give a crap about his child, while sans is known to be a loving brother

@@marioluigibros.8176 plus. I'm saying mettaton is only slightly better considering he would want to be a good role model. Besides if they were tasked to take care of a baby sans would be likely to loose the baby meanwhile mettaton would mostly be recording himself with the baby.
Sometimes I use other characters to show what I mean. Anyways sans would be pretty incompetent and likely loose the baby. Meanwhile I don't think mettaton would loose a baby. I'm saying that for a kid above the age 5 sans would still be incompetent meanwhile mettaton would probably be the celebrity he is and probably do stunts with the said kid.

3:10 to be fair. If he Didn't knew about the whole DETERMINATION and reset thing he probably would be at least a little more active in protecting you.
at least he'll always choose to keep you alive in his runs until your teens. unless if he finds 'rebelling' an amusing thing. I honestly think he'd be a great parent. he's very knowledgeable and would prove to be able to help you without the need of outside intervention
also you have to remember sans relationship with frisk (a human from the surface world that can and sometimes will easily destroy the universe) would be a lot different than his own child. Like just because he isnt out protecting frisk from everything doesnt mean he wont help his own kid.@@jackakumu2557

If ‘RP server’ is referring to making a Roblox game, you should have a really good map built along with a large assortment of characters you can play as. When it comes to an ‘RP server’ like on Discord or something just invite people and it should spread. I’ve never really ran my own server or anything so I don’t know too much.
