And I woke up right about the time the Death Star explodes and, well nevermind. Star Wars was a lot more fun than Corvette Summer was. Definitely different. Mark supports Israel? Really?? I think that is just awesome. Because you know Israel was founded not too long after WW2. AND during WW2 this thing called The Holocaust happened where the Nazi's rounded up all the Jews & put them in these camps. And they started killing them in some. And others were made to work until they couldn't any more & were killed or died. And all their money was taken. And all their gold & jewels & land was taken & about 8 million or more were killedl. And Germany invaded Poland & thlen Russia & then the Allies started sending supplies to Russia to help them fight the Germans. And then D-Day happened when the USA, UK & Canada landed on the beaches of Normandy to also fight the Germans. And by the time the Allies made it to Berlin so did the Russians. And that was when Russsia built the Berlin Wall & the Cold War started. OK, now their were all these Jewish people from Poland that no longer had a country because it was now in Russia & behind the Iron Curtain so to speak. And somebody said, "Well, wouldn't it be cool if the Jewish people had their old country back of Israel. And since they couldn't go back to Poland the survivors of the Holocaust reestablished the country of Israel around the Holy City of Jerusalem. And since the Holy City of Jerusalem was also Holy to the Arabs, all the Arabs got mad & tried to make war with Israel. But Israel fought back & won. And now there are people that call themselves Palestinians that claim that Israel took their country away from them. However, the New Country of Israel is also the old country of Israel. Not sure if you ever heard the story of Moses leading the Jewish people out of the slavery of Egypt & into the Promised Land of Israel but you see that's an argument that goes back long before Jesus was born in Bethlaham. And when Jesus was crucified because the Jewish people refused to believe that he was the true Mesiah, it is said that a lot of people hated the Jewish because they caused the true Mesiah to be crucified. But it was the will of Jesus that all people to have forgiveness for their sins by asking his father to forgive them in his name. And so Jesus washed away everyone's sins. Even those of the Jewish faith should they ask for forgiveness in his name. And I believe that the Jewish people have been through enough without catching more & more grief. I also believe that there are very few true Palestinians left & there are plenty of other Arab nations for them to go to & be at peace. Rather than them trying to war against Israel. Back in the 1970's our President Jimmy Carter managed to get a peace Treaty signed by the leaders of Egypt and Israel. And because of that document Egypt recognized the Country of Israel as a nation by itself. OK children that is it for our History/ religious lesson for the day. Just know that I don't politically support any nation considering that I think politics will ruin your mind & corrupt your soul but only love can break your heart. And by the way, all you college students trying to protest against Israel for the Palestinians, most of your dumb asses might want to do your OWN research instead of believing what you read on social media. These are arguments that caused brutal wars well over 2000 years ago. And considering that the USA & the United Kingdom originally helped & supported the establishment of the New Country of Israel in the same place as the old country of Israel in the aftermath of WW2 because of all of the wrong that was imposed upon the Jewish people during the war it makes our college students appear totally oblivious & ignorant to the history of their own nation.

I love how no one realized that Vader is father in Dutch. So in a way the "Darth" part is in a way "Dark" so Darth Vader mean Dark Father...or at least that's how my mind sees it
For some reason that makes total sense as to how they came up with that name. Dark Father-Darth Vader OK. Thanks for that bit of insight. I think that when Homer told that to people standing in line for the theatre somebody should have screamed "NOOOO!" & started punching him repeatedly!!!! And that somebody should have been dressed like Luke. And instead of the sound of punches have the sound of the light sabers crashing together.
I'm thinking James Earl Jones probably knew about it. The camera man wouldn't have had to know, but the sound people absolutely would have had to know. Paul Hirsch, the films editor, would have to have known. I'm absolutely certain that the executive producers would have known, probably others on the production staff. Secrets of this nature can't be held by just a few. These movies staffs are just too large to exclude everybody.
I'm assuming this was a note to help him act more accurately in the scene? Then nobody would really have to know but him, and then they probably do the voice over afterwards
Not necessarily. If they filmed the scene as written in the script, Luke's reaction is the same. Since James Earl Jones recoded his lines after filmiing; Kershner, Lucas and Hamill still could have been the only ones to know.

He vet 2% of gross against Close Encounters of the Third Kind. He thought it was the better movie. Spielberg had more confidence in Star Wars doing good box office.
But it wasnt stupid.
even before he did the scene his mind had already been saying "THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!" 😭
And that was how Mark Hamill found out Irvin Kershner was his father
next day in all the tabloids: guess who Mark Hamill's real father is? extra extra read all about it!
@@marcdc6809aww I remember it. The tabloids couldn't get enough of the Director/Galactic dictator custody battle. It must've gone on for months.
@@Dinglehoppers779 it's around the same period they also had to explain to poor Mark that prinses Leia Organa was not his sister, and her real name is Carrie Fisher... so the smooching in the first movie was a bit awkward, but not something HE should worry much about...
One of the biggest twist's in film history, love all the originals!!!!
Love Mark Hammil!!!!! True gentleman!❤
Search your feelings.
What does it tell you.
Feel the way of the force.
In the first drafts of the script Darth Vader was a separate person from Anakin Skywalker. But I can imagine that at some point during filming George must have realized what an amazing mind-f!!k it would be to have Vader be his father instead. George went a little crazy with the coincidences though, with Anakin actually being the one who CREATED C-3PO, Chewbacca already knowing and working with Yoda and R2-D2 working on Luke's Mom's spaceship.
Lando was going to be "the other".
Princess Leia wasn't going to be the sister. Someone else was going yo be his sister.
@@stephenolan5539 I have never heard either of those things.
@@JustWasted3HoursHere
It was not the original script that the hero kisses his sister.
Brilliant! Love Mark Hamill! Best joker voice and my favorite! Such a legend! 😎👍🏻
“Hey kid, you didn’t fuckin telll ma that was gonna happen” - Harrison Ford
You know it is a good script when the actors think it is a lie
😂 THAT IS SO FUNNY AND MARK HARMEL IS A GOOD PART OF STAR WARS
_*Mike Harmel_ 🤭
Why is this so adorable 🥹🥹
En el final de Star Wars II, cuando aparece Luke, se me puso la piel de gallina, y cada vez que volví a verla. ESOS MINUTITOS VALEN POR TODA LA PELICULA.
The German word for father is Vater
Never knew that and I guess that was another hint throughout the movie 🎬
It wasn't.
Vader means father in Dutch. No idea if it was a hint.
“Search your feelings”
I didn’t expect that but that was hilarious. 😂
For F**k sake! did it say 'Luke, I am your father' or 'No, I am your father' almost broke the Matrix and escaped the Mandela effect
It was, No I am your father. That makes sense in movie. But if you are talking about random stuff, then you would say, Luke, I am your father. So people misquote it.
The director being Mark's father is a shocking revelation and woah, how it was delivered..
"No, I don't think you understand... Darth Vader *IS* *your* Father, Mark."
I have the utmost respect him I enjoyed his work in Corvette Summer to he's awesome mostly Corvette Summer
Well search your feelings and go put it in character when the camera rolls XD
,,Surch your feelings, you KNOW it to be true "
At least 4 people knew. James earl jones had to say the line.
True, but the voice recording session was probably done later.
A lot fewer people in the recording studio too, compared to the shoot (which would have a ton of crew around).
I would really love to see more movies with him.....he's just so likeable
Mark supports Israel
He had another movie called "Corvette Summer." For a school project he rebuilds this Corvette from a hunk of junk to an awesome street ride in like about 5 minutes. Then it gets stolen and he tries to find it. And it just kinda sucks. & I forget the rest cuz, idk,I think I fell asleep in the theatre. And I woke up right about the time the Death Star explodes and, well nevermind. Star Wars was a lot more fun than Corvette Summer was. Definitely different. But yeah, I think Mark is a pretty good dude.😊

I never saw Corvette Summer but I would love it if he and Annie Pots made Corvette Winter.
Why is Hamill's improv Vader voice actually good 💀
He's a voice actor
@@sansbudget I know that, who doesn't know that
He's like the quintessential Joker he definitely can do Darth Vader
@levi.koeppel Yeah I know that, but you do understand that Joker and Vader have two drastically different types of voices
damn, that plot twist was so good that even mark was surprised
His vader voice was quite good
When he said “You dont know the truth, Obi-Wan killed your father”, His Joker showed a little bit.
Success = the film is taken seriously. Heh.
*Mark Hamill has a big place in my heart. I love Him.*
Why because he's a Democrat tool?
He did the joker voice :p
"Search your feelings, you KNOW it to be true!"
Treated him like Marvel treats Tom Holland
This is a very underrated comment, for sure Tom Holland is Mark Hamill of marvel
Quite the opposite. They told him. Marvel doesn't tell Tom Holland things if they can avoid it.
Tom Holland thought the suit was for Tony's wedding.

The suit he wore for Tony's funeral.
I remember seeing an interview where they gave the line to James Earl Jones to read and he was just as shocked to find out.
Best Joker voice ever

Mark Hamil doing a Vader impression has me envisioning Darth Joker 🤣🤣
Alan Rickman who played Sirius Snipe in Harry Potter was put in the very same position. He was going to leave the movie by the 3rd instal but JK Rowling wispered in his ear why he needed to stay. He never told a soul he knew the entire plot of the books and stayed til the end. What a guy!

HOW ABOUT A SPOILER WARNING GUYS?!?!
If this is actually how you found that out, that has gotta suck lmao
You better PRAY you were being sarcastic beach
A well-known plot twist for a 44 year-old movie, part of one of the most well-known and beloved movie franchises of all time and legendary in pop culture, doesn't count as spoiling. Of course, in case you were trolling, good one!
Lmao…wait you are joking right
Bro the film is 40+ years old and everybody knows the twist lmao
“So anyway I told Meredith the bombshell news”
It's also true the other way round. Obi Wan did kill Anakin.
And the reverse would be more literally true: his father killed Obi-Wan.
,,This is the goofiest thing I have ever read" that is most honest review I ever heard 🤣.
Luke Sky Walker?
Princess Lay Me Orgasma?
Chew toBacca?
Solo Hand?
Guido?
Uncle Liars?
I think most of the names sounded like something else.
Great background information!
@@tygrkhat4087i think Sir Alex Guinness knew about it.
@@alanmackinnon3516 Maybe, but he wasn't in Empire Strikes Back. Sir Alec doesn't return until the next movie, then we all knew.
