Hi, thank for the tutorial it was really helpful. I have encountered a problem thou my installer keep breaking off at about 80% and I cant seem to reinstall the os. Please share any advice you can on what to do
There might be some issues with the installation media, which you have created. May be some files are missing! Why don’t you recreate the installation media and try it again. And let me know if this works, if not I’ll be happy to help 😀
@@TechReviewPro yeah I thought of that but I had erased my previous os before i encountered the problem . the error message it gives is " an error occured validating the installer data. The download is either damaged or in complete
Okay, that’s the issue! No problem, make sure you’ve working internet connection, remove the installation media and turn off your Mac. Now turn it on while holding Option+Command+R button. Release the button when you see the Apple Logo. This will put your Mac into internet recovery Mode. And reinstall the OS. But keep in mind this might take upto 8-9GB of bandwidth. Do let me know if this works!

My iMac 8,1 keeps saying my volume does not contain a valid copy of macOS. I downloaded the installer on an external hard drive, made a copy of the OS onto my internal APFS volume, and now during the post install patches portion, it’s saying the only volume I have/am using doesn’t have a valid copy. BUT on disk utilities it shows the correct GB of used storage from the OS (about 8.5 GB).... what do I do? I’m stuck.
The copy to my disk has made it to 90% copied twice, and each time has failed before it fully copies. Your method was slightly different than the one I tried and received those results, it’s copying now I’ll comment the result.

I successfully completed all your steps but when I try to do bootable from USB, I see Catalina but there is nothing on the drive and I erased my Mac OS Sierra. Please help ASAP. I'll pay you but I have work and now my computer is not working.

I created the bootable usb, however when I click the installer on the start up, it just brings up an image of a circle with a line crossed out. Please help.
DM me on Facebook or Instagram along with screenshot, I’ll try me best to help you!
Thanks 🙏
TechReviewPro same here , however when I’m bout to download 8gb of data in the installer while at the end of finishing it and it automatically restarts into boot despite that I can’t even go into applications folder where it is easy to make bootable drive using cmd , since it’s restarting and installing so I can’t do is there solution .?
Very helpful. Thankyou

Thank you for a detailed and much simpler step by step demonstration, I had been surfing all around for a video like this, but still am stuck ...
Had my macbook upgraded till catalina, but on resetting it has been downgraded to mountain lion. Now it is not accepting any of the upgrades and showing some error @product distribution file could not be verified....
Kindly guide me pass this last hurdle...TYI

im getting ''error'' what do I do?
My iMac 8,1 keeps saying my volume does not contain a valid copy of macOS. I downloaded the installer on an external hard drive, made a copy of the OS onto my internal APFS volume, and now during the post install patches portion, it’s saying the only volume I have/am using doesn’t have a valid copy. BUT on disk utilities it shows the correct GB of used storage from the OS (about 8.5 GB).... what do I do? I’m stuck.
I think you were suppose to format the flashdrive to mac extended journal?
I keep getting the prohibited symbol while trying to access the bootable drive
It worked ..thanks
Awesome! 😀I'm glad to know it worked. Thanks for letting me know!
When I restart, it just shows Macintosh HD and not the macOS Catalina installer. Why is this happening and how do I fix it?
The copy to my disk has made it to 90% copied twice, and each time has failed before it fully copies. Your method was slightly different than the one I tried and received those results, it’s copying now I’ll comment the result.
how to clean up mac 🖥 without deleting and uninstalling the important software?
Thanks!
