Millions were injured and millions lost their homes, and the suffering would last long even after wars were ended. For example the American dropped 280 million bombs on Laos, a poor country of 2.8 million during the Vietnam War when Laos was not even part of the war. About 80 million of the bombs did not explode during the drop, and today the unexploded bombs are still killing and maiming the people of Laos. About 20,000 were killed by the unexploded bombs after the war ended, half of them were children. Even now. Any war is bad.

Crimes..... Ukraine had 100 thousand troops on Russian boarder after Christmas. Wanted nukes and NATO a week before and got war instead. Ukraine and Russia been fighting since 2014. Ukraine never stopped shelling they forgot about Minsk agreements and stopped fresh water flowing into Crimea. They poked the Russian bear and for what NATO andnthe EU. I’ve seen journalist that have been there for 8 years. They said that this has been a common occurrence in the Republics. Ukrainen’s targeted schools. Actually I’ve seen that recently, it’s so sad to see civilians deliberately targeted.

On February 24 authorities told the population no need to leave the city, everything was under control…. As the journalist is saying there was no evacuation plan. The only plan was to use inhabitants as human shields.

When the Ukrainian army fights in the populated areas they use human shields and civilian infrastructure to hide, this usually makes battles last more and leave a lot of destruction, but when they fight in the open fields they get smashed badly and rapidly like it's been happening lately.
It's their homes, this isn't some battle in a foreign land they are living in their homes amongst their population.

I wish only the best to all the innocent Ukrainian civilians, who are not to be blamed for all this; other than that, there are only to options to end this war, (1) Kiev surrenders (= West stops weapons deliveries) or (2) war will continue, with even more grave consequences, because Russia will not give up as it sees itself in a fight with the West powers after all, an existential fight.

Which would mean total loss of Ukrainian culture. In occupied areas people are tortured, Russian teachers are being brought in to teach the Russian curriculum. It will basically go from being a free country to living under a dictatorship . It won't stop the war It will just move on to the next country.

The man is ignorant. The city is not totally destroyed - buildings look bad, but this is no the whole city and a lot of the damage is realtively easy to repaired. Want to see pictures of destroyed cities, look up how german cities looked in WW2 after being bombed night after night by the allies. WAY more bombed in one night than the Ukrainian cities are bombed at all - and not just for one day. Rebuilding already has started, I have seen a documentar how new apartment complexes are built by the russian government for people that lost their homes, to be given to them for free.

He didn't 'take on Russia' Russia attacked Ukraine. All they are doing is defending themselves. That's like telling a child who is defending themselves from being raped by an adult they have taken the adult on. Russia should not be attacking, full stop. That Dmitry Medvedev says noone should be judging Russia's actions because they have nuclear weapons to destroy them shows that Russia thinks its nuclear weapons should allow it to do whatever it likes to anybody no matter how immoral or brutal.
