    Great video!! Sounds and look awesome. I bet it would look even better with their Lit Kit, maybe? I am now really considering this thanks to your vid. Bonus that it is even cheaper than a K&N intake kit. I do have one question though. I noticed in your video and from the pics on the Velossa Tech website that none of the cars have a front license plate, which is cool but in my state we are required to have one. Will having a plate installed block the opening of the snorkel? Judging from the images and your vid it seems as maybe half the opening will be blocked by the plate which kind of defeats the purpose for me. That would be the only thing that stops me from getting it. Thanks for any info you can give me and keep up the great work!

    • @Justinackerman_
      @Justinackerman_  Год назад

      Wassup fam, I appreciate you watching and supporting the video. I love how the lit kit looks personally, and it is at a great price right now compared to some other intake system that are on the market as well. I was reading what you were saying about how none of the cars have front plates on them, and how in certain states you are required to have one on. I did some measuring on the front of my car this morning and even if you were to have the plate mounted right in the middle of the bumper, it shouldn’t interfere at all with the airflow going through the snorkel. I hope this could help in any way 👏💯

    Im curious if there is any actual performance benefit. All those pieces that have to be removed to fit that part on there are heat shrouds. The entire purpose is to help deflect the radiant heat coming from the radiator away from the OEM snorkel that sits in that area. By removing them that hot radiator is just baking that inlet that got added. I would bet that airflow is unchanged and if anything intake air temps are higher. Just a guess.

    • @Justinackerman_
      @Justinackerman_  4 месяца назад

      Velossa Tech actually provided a graph on their site showing the cooling benefits you receive when using their intake vs the stock heat shroud. It’s not crazy changes, but it for sure does make a difference in sound and alittle bit of HP. Thanks for watching the video fam 👏💙
