The Peter part is crazy because his spider sense must've been going nuts warning him of what was happening, not to mention his healing ability trying to save him as well. Tom Holland's improvisation in that scene is fantastic. That part gets me every time.
Wait… so what exactly did he improvise? I’d always just assumed that his couple of lines there were in the script. (Either way, he did an _incredible_ job of acting the ever-loving-fuck outta that scene!!)
@@radlee974 His whole dialogue except for maybe “I don’t feel so good” & “I’m sorry” was improvised. All they told him was that it’s emotional and they needed him to fight it. And that’s the take we got
This movie follows Thanos as the protagonist. We find out his motivation, see him at his lowest, find out what makes him tick and see the sacrifices he makes. And at the end of things, he sits down in the sun like he promised. The silence in theaters was crazy when this first came out. You could hear a pin drop during those last few minutes.
He is more willing to sacrifice than any character in the movie. Every single beat emphasizes that. Eitri made his gauntlet cause he was unwilling to sacrifice. Peter didn't sacrifice Gamora. Peter was then unwilling to contain his rage. They didn't sacrifice Vision because of Cap's arrogant worldview and then Wanda refused out of love. Gamora sacrificed the entire universe to save her sister from suffering. Thor even was unwilling to sacrifice his moment of victory, to make the deaths of his entire culture worth something. That's why they lost. Which I think makes who Thanos is all the more interesting.
@@Souledex This may sound wrong, but considering you'd have to be like Thanos in order to make sacrifices like that without hesitation, that's not a bad thing. And technically, they did try when it mattered. Thanos however, made their choices irrelevant.
@@parkerboy795 hesitation is different than just not. And yes, yes it is. I hope you are never in a position of authority that might involve risk to people’s lives. Seeing the bigger picture, only Dr Strange and Vision seemed to get it which is legitimately terrifying given their decisions affect the destiny of the entire universe.
The last hour of his movie is one of the greatest 60 minute stretch of cinematic history. Everything from Gamora on Vormir to the snap is absolutely incredible.
i think that is a bit far xD "greatest 60 minute stretch of cinematic history" it was good and better than anything Marvel has done before or since but its no where near the greatest of all time
so many oscar worthy moments and most of them are improv: peter parker’s death was all improvised by tom. peter practically felt himself dying and was the only one who knew it would happen apart from strange. wanda and visions scene, both lizzie and paul improvised that scene 100% and i cry every single time. (“i just feel you” - wanda vs “i just feel you” - vision) gamoras death scene makes me cry as well because of the dynamic 😭 the music was amazing!! and finally loki’s death scene, i was crying five minutes in. i just kept being reminded that thor and loki FINALLY started to develop a relationship after Ragnarok and i can’t believe that was taken away from us. i can’t wait for the endgame reaction!!! you guys are amazing
I don't know if anyone else pointed this out, but the reason Peter was so horrified is because his spider-senses were going absolutely crazy, sensing the danger of him disappearing, but because it was the loss of his existence, it left him completely terrified to the bone, unable to see exactly *what* the danger was. He quite literally felt his OWN existence ENDING, Poor dood. Also, awesome reaction doods! Can't wait for Endgame!!
I feel like everyone that watches this movie forgets that Doctor Strange saw everything that needed to happen. From Star-lord attacking Thanos to Stephen giving up the time stone. They weren’t mistakes. It all needed to happen.
Seeing this movie, for the first time, in a completely sold out IMAX movie theater, was the best movie experience I have ever had in my entire 23 years of life
@Andre Davies what's 'kind of sad' is having to comment negatively and anonymously on someone else's positive experiences to make your own fucked excuse for a life seem better. go do something actually meaningful with yourself.
It was so awesome!!! but when Endgame dropped man I think it topped this (as far as the theater experience) That last hour!!! man my theater was sooo hyped!!! lol
I couldn't sleep pretty much most of the night. Watched few reviews (one channel did group discussion well over one hour) immediately when I got home. I couldn't wait for my friends to be free so I watched it alone opening night so I didn't have anyone to talk with hance that much yt videos haha
Thor arriving in wakanda is the best mcu moment for me, alongside the portals. I don't go to the movies much, but I'd never seen that many ppl losing it over a movie, me included 😆
one of my favourite little things about this movie is that Thor continues to call Rocket, Rabbit, and Rocket just never bothers to correct him. but then you go and watch gotg1&2 and everytime hes called something other than Rocket he gets mad
Same it’s a cool way to show that rocket respects Thor especially after their moment hearing all the things he’s lost and been through. And coming from a character like rocket it really shows a lot about who Thor is
11:28 "Okay, Quill, you gotta cool it right now. You understand?" Yeah Tony, just like you remained calm when you found out that Bucky killed your parents. Oh wait...
While I agree that Tony's statement is a bit hypocritical, they weren't really trying to save the world/universe when he found out Bucky killed his parents. lol
@@ikateeo acting like a character cant grow lmfao. half the things tony says come from his past failures, and he actively hates himself for them. its not "hypocritical" if its just him learning from the past. he doesn't act righteous as if he knows best or if hes the good guy. also, killing bucky literally doesn't affect anything besides his friendship with steve and well, killing bucky. attacking thanos in the moment is stupid because not only does it ruin the whole plan and kill trillions, but if he had just stayed calm and followed the plan IT WOULDVE RESULTED IN THANOS' LOSS ANYWAYS
@@ikateeo Yeah, I dont understand it either. He even says to Tony after he gives up the time stone "There were no other way" and he were willing to let everybody die in order to protect it. People give Quill shit but Gomora failed, she gave up the location to Thanos. Quill failed, because you know. Thor failed because of his ego. Strange failed because he knew what would happen and so he took the lesson the ancient one gave to him: "in order to succeed one must occasionally fail."
okay bullet points: - yes this is 100% a thanos movie. he is the protagonist. it is a hero's journey. he's not a "good guy" but it is HIS hero's journey. i love that you guys get that. - the moment of cap holding thanos' hand open and thanos just sitting there contemplating like "how is this possible, who is this human" YES he was absolutely testing him, sizing him up, like "okay imma put this guy in my memory bank for later, and hey universe if you can pick and choose in any way who you're gonna take when i snap my fingers in a minute can you spare this one? cuz i want to have a talk with him later. k thx." that was amazing. - i know you guys didn't talk about thor much here but in revisiting this and endgame recently (and watching a couple of really fantastic essays by full fat videos that i'll link in a second), thor has become my second favorite MCU character. steve will always and forever be the very best, no way anyone will ever top that one, but thor's journey is absolutely amazing. it really started for me with ragnarok, and then IW, and then endgame is just... shit. wait until ninetailedbrush watches that one before you guys take a peek at these essays, okay? but if anyone else is interested: 1) ruclips.net/video/aVzU0mmtxs0/видео.html 2) ruclips.net/video/45a0oiDQP2M/видео.html seriously, these made me do a total 180 on thor and i utterly adore him now. - SEEING THIS IN THE THEATER. DUDE. it was such a fantastic experience. while i partially agree with NTB about big crowds, there are some movies where a packed theater totally adds to it, and this was definitely one of them. the fight scenes, the jokes, gamora's death... and everyone in there was sharing it with you. endgame was the same way, but we'll get to that later :) and i'm sure plenty of other people have commented about the stunned silence and like... despair that was rippling through the audience at the end. we were just like ...ARE YOU KIDDING. SHUT UP. so awesome.
Infinity War is my #1 favorite. I can't even explain how it felt leaving the theater knowing all of those characters were dusted. I also enjoyed all of the theories about what was going to happen in Endgame. We had to wait an entire year to get answers.
tbh, besides when he first introduces himself to the POW's in First Avenger, I don't recall a time when he non-ironically introduces himself as Captain America. Its ALWAYS been "Hi, I'm Steve Rogers"
i love the subtle detail that Wanda is so powerful that she is not effected by the time stone when Thanos winds it back to pinch Vision's forehead. heartbreaking that she actually had to witness her love die again after just killing him though.
So fun story. Way back when GotG2 came out for some reason I didn't see it with my family. So my grandma (who I live with) offered to go. I told her she needed to watch GotG first, she loved it. We go see 2, she loved it even more. Then she asks "So whats with these stone things?" XD OOhh boy, here we go. So we started all the way back at the beginning with Iron Man. She really enjoyed watching most of the MCU, and fell in love with Loki. We caught up about the time Black Panther came out. So the day finally arrived, Infinity War, what its all been leading up to. Quick note, my grandma HATES it when characters die. Then we get this ending. My grandma just gaped at me "Thats it? They lost??" she was so flabbergasted. I had to assure her that there is a part two coming, you know they are going to find some way to win in the end, remember what Dr. Strange said, ect. But she was just so upset and slightly bitter that she had watched all these movies just to have half the heroes die. She still liked watching them but it was funny to see her so upset and confused. She loved Endgame though, it made it up to her. And she was able to accept the deaths that were permanent. She's still my MCU buddy, the only thing she hasn't watched is WandaVision because it didn't catch her interest after the first few episodes. Now I'm planning on having her watch the first 2 Toby Maguire Spider-Man and the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man (I haven't seen that either) before No Way Home comes out.
@@lilm00 Yes he did. Or rather, he knew he should have killed him when he had him down but chose to indulge in his revenge. Even if he didn't kill him, he could have taken the gauntlet off.
Thanos was made WAY more relatable for the MCU with them altering the reason why he is doing what he is. In the comics, he's in love with Lady death, and sacrificing half of life in the universe as an offering to her. So yeah.... two VERY different Thanos'.
I said this in the first part, but since the scene is in this part, I'm going to say it again.. I think a lot of people don't realize that Quill messing up the Thanos attack was meant to happen. Doctor Strange saw all possibilities, and that was something that needed to happen for them to win in the end..
star lord didnt know that it should happen so that later they can win. From star lords point of view, he completely lost control of himself and jeopardized the whole mission. Just because that was supposed to happen doesnt mean it was a good move from his pov. If thats the case, we could say people shouldnt dislike thanos because all of this was supposed to happen anyway.
@@shawnjames3242 I mean duh he fucked up but people actually think that he messed up and it needed to be fixed afterwards, which is wrong. It was the wrong move but it did need to happen. People forget that the Avengers would have lost otherwise.
@@ot7biasedmashups again, it doesn't matter. do you think captain america would have done something like that? just because things somehow ended up good (no thanks to starlord), doesn't make what he did okay.
@@shawnjames3242 Technically, while the stakes were different, he and Tony's fight led to the end of the Avengers and because of that, they couldn't properly protect Strange and Vision. Also, it wasn't just Dtar Lord. Everyone dropped the ball.
I'd read the comics before watching this on opening day... got a big grin on my face when the credits rolled... I couldn't believe they had the balls to end it the way they did
I never thought it was Quill's fault. Everything happened the way it was supposed to. Most people would have done the same thing the he did. When faced with the murder of the loved one your emotions cloud your judgment. Also by the whose fault it was it logic then technically it would have been Mantis. She told Quill that Thanos killed Gamora. She could and should have kept it to herself. Also Tony did the same with the news of his father's murder. Which I believe is why Tony never seemed to have blamed Quill for it. Even asking him to say although that was beyond his power.
Yeah. That and the fact that the personality that started punching him was the same one who invented the plan to begin with and was the only one willing to shoot their loved one protect the world. Everyone else couldn’t do it (Wanda falls in between, she took too long and it was ultimately pointless, but she did try to do it in the end)
Logically, it was Thanos. All of this is his fault. He's the guy who wiped out half the universe. And while everyone, and I mean everyone, not just Quill, slipped up and cost themselves victory, it's ridiculous to try and blame the people who were trying to protect the universe.
It's not fair to blame Mantis because she was feeling everything that Thanos was feeling and it's hard to contain emotions when you're overwhelmed. We know Thanos really loved gamora and must've been devastated and broken inside.
The Avengers never blamed Quill. I agree that Tony immediately recognized Peter’s behavior and tried desperately to intervene because he knew that rage. All the heroes have gone through THINGS. They may be frustrated with Quill, but they get it.
Oh I remember my sobs and tears streaming( like literally streams not drops )down my face by the time spiderman was dead. I'm just grateful that I got to experience that and I know that it's the epitome of cinematic experience in my life.
The thing that always hurts most for me is that Doctor Strange knew exactly what was going to go wrong but had to let it happen. Remember how we all get angry when Peter punches Thanos? Imagine Steven man. That must have hurt. And knowing that you were gonna get blipped? Crazy.
I really like when Thanos said about killing Gamora, Tony was trying to stop Quill right away. After Civil War he exactly knew whats inside Peter's mind atm
I'll never forget my theater experience for this movie. When I saw my favorite characters together on screen that I have been following for 10 years I felt excited and complete because of the character development that was given to them in their previous films, and nevertheless entertain watching the amazing action of the movie. Then the shock of the characters dying while everybody was wiping their tears, following the anger when saw Thanos resting and watching the sun rest, and finally the cut to black and plain text made me defeated, just like the characters.
I understand being angry at Quill but there is no knowing that if they got the glove off they would have won. Thanos with out the stones is still extremely strong. In the fight against hulk at the beginning while he had the power stone he didn’t use it(it doesn’t glow). And of the 14 million-ish possible futures that Doctor Stange was able to see this was the only 1 that would workout in a win.
I heard a theory that when Steve was stopping Thanos, Steve's finger touched the last stone (I don't remember which stone was it) and that made Thanos see through Steve's life. How Steve was always determinate or what he was doing always and even stand against people that he knew he didn't have a chance of winning (like the bully scene in first Cap America movie "I can do this all day") cause Steve saw other people as a bully and he was not gonna stop trying to stop them even if it cost him his life. In that moment Thanos was flabbergasted by Steve's ideology and determination that reminds Thanos of himself and the disappointment that in that moment Steve was looking at him as a bully. Also it's so cool how Wanda was able to destroy Mind Stone whilst also stopping a Thanos with gauntlet. However because of time stone, all her sacrifice went in vain. To think she's still just Wanda here not Scarlet Witch.
Watching you discussion on Quill's stupid action, and just remembered Star Lord's quote "I'm a half-human and 50% of that's stupid, that's 100% you"))) I guess is not about humanity, that was another Celestial's 50%...))😅
Not just the people from the snap died. Say for example a pilot was snapped away in a plane or a helicopter mid-flight, the passengers remained to experience the crash.
yeah and someone who was driving a train is snapped Leaving the Passengers on the train to perish in a collision course or random People dying in thousands of car crashes because the drivers were snapped
My favorite aspect of the Thanos fights are all the unique combinations of stones that he uses. When Dr strange makes multiples of himself Thanos uses the purple soul stone to identify which one was the real dr strange by identifying a soul. When he's torturing nebula he's using the space stone to keep her suspended and her parts pulling apart and the power stone to turn up the power on it. There's tons of these that people miss on the first handful of viewings
Out of all the amazing things happened in this movie one of my fave was wanda was able to hold thanos for a brief moment with 5 infinity stones, while destroying another one.... This proves she's powerful pre end game 💯
I know with this film a lot of people hated Peter Quill and his reaction but people forget this is how Peter reactions to hearing news like this. In guardians 2 he reacted the same way upon hearing his dad had put a tumor in his mothers brain. so the set up of peters reaction was already established
Right????? Like the amount of adrenaline I'm left with after the movie idk what to do man so I'm here reading the comments to share some of that excitement.
Note how Wanda was the only one who left peacefully ish. She wasn’t in agony as such but more accepting of death since she had nothing to live for. What with vision, her brother and her parents dead
I still remember crying a little too loudly in an otherwise drop-dead silent theatre on the opening day of Infinity War right in the morning first show when Spider-Man dies. I just lost it. When I looked around - everyone was weeping too (just not as loudly XD).
I still find it so odd that everyone gives all the grief to Quill for failign to control his emotions... but not to gamora for giving Thanos the soul stone, not Cap for being unwillign to sacrifice Vision, not to Loki for giving him the tesseract. People are weird man.
@@garretthenderson5738 Tony was telling him not to do it. He couldn't much else considering he was trying to take the gauntlet off. Nebula wasn't egging him on. She realized Thanos killed Gamora and was grieving.
In Iron Man 2 , whiplash says if you make God bleed, people would cease to believe in him. And then Thanos says, " All that for a drop of blood ". Quite a detail
@@parkerboy795 absolutely. He was facing Thanos. The man had his destiny planned before Tony had any perspective towards the Avengers initiative . More than power what scares most of the superheroes is Thanos' conviction in what he's doing. Makes him a badass imo
I know people get mad at StarLord for losing it but I wonder what would’ve happened cus remember there is only one timeline where they win and strange new this so. They would’ve lost still somehow
You can bet that maybe 10,000 of the 14,000,605 futures Dr. Strange saw Quill was prevented or stopped or even stopped himself, but all of those failed. Strange would have prevented him from doing it if it wasn't part of that 1 winning vision.

Of course it’s not until the end of my 45-minute work break that I see this video posted… Now I got to wait 3 more hours to watch the awesome devastation of Thanos’ snap.
Great times and memories from watching this movie in theaters. NGL, on my first time viewing this (in a very packed IMAX theater) I was "that" nerd who, after the credits scene when Capt Marvel's logo popped up on the pager, yelled out "IT'S ABOUT FUCKING TIME YOU CALLED HER!!!" completely without thinking where I was....got some laughs, as well as several people asking me questions about what the scene meant as folks were leaving the theater. I spoke with a co-worker at work the next day, another old-school comic nerd like myself, who hadn't seen the movie yet...he said "I just have one question", raised one hand to eye level and snapped his fingers while staring at me...I just grinned at him...his response was "My stomach hurts, I'm calling out for the rest of the night, see you guys tomorrow" and he headed straight off to the theater to watch the movie.
I love this movie miles beyond any of the other MCU, even though it relies upon them all to tell its story. This movie really questions the perception of good and evil, of true believers, of quests and causes, the worth of an individual conscience at odds with others. And it doesn't answer any of those questions in a comfortable way, but rather leaves lots of room for interpretation alongside answers that seem wrong on their face. Civil War addressed that there is no single right answer, that opposing sides could both be in the right. This movie questions whether we can really know right and wrong or if either one is actually preferential to the Universe at large.
Guys, remember how long the year between Infinity War and Endgame felt? Nine Tail has waited THREE YEARS since first seeing IW for the end of the story. Mad props to the Gen-Z OG of delayed gratification.
On the fight scene against Thanos, if Quill didn’t hit him on the head they would’ve lost at the end since out of every future they only won in 1 which was this one with Quill losing it and hitting him.
Gonna add the similarities between thor and quill about how much they both lost, but thor somehow gets a pass for trying to gloat and causes everything to end
If Marvel/Disney had released The Eternals earlier then they could’ve kept Thano’s original story. In the comics he wants to wipe out trillions in his attempt to court Lady Death. AND they’d be able to properly tell Professor X’s origin story of him and his son, David, the most powerful mutant in existence, but he’s so effin’ INSANE X-Men & Avengers have to constantly keep him stuck in a coma. He has over 1k+ abilities and he’s not even fully aware of them and doesn’t know how to control of them. He can consume other mutants and take on their abilities and kill them, but if he feels like it he can bring people back to life AND give them their powers while still keeping the same powers for himself. Because he is nuts he regularly kills people without realizing it. In an interview they even confirmed David could’ve defeated Thanos in just minutes and that would not make for a good story. The only thing that really stops David is his off/on insanity and the others having to bottle his @$$ up. For some of his story watch his show, “Legion”, the story is not full comic cannon and it has an odd made up ending but it’s acceptable b/c Fox Entertainment had to throw it together as well as the show on FOX, “The Gifted” and “The New Mutants” movie and “The Runaways” & “Cloak & Dagger” b/c Disney finally bought Fox Entertainment and was able to unite The X-Men and The Fantastic 4 back into the MCU. I hope when they do bring in The X-Men they restart the franchise w/ the proper origin story of Professor X and how in his youth he thought he was insane and checked himself into an asylum where he met another mutant that was in a coma but he could mentally speak w/ her. He wakes her up and together they trick the staff into leaving the facility. The woman becomes his wife and they have a son, David. Professor X senses a far more powerful mental mutant from far away mentally reaching out for David. Professor X and his wife separated and make a plan to hide the baby.
I kinda don't mind the Peter/Thanos scene on Titan. Peter is responding pretty much how anyone would to learning someone they loved was killed, especially after being forced to nearly killing them himself. He's angry, and he lets it get the better of him. It is stupid, but he's running on pure emotion and adrenaline at that point. You don't really respond well to learning a loved one is dead and the murderer of them is right in front of you
I'm actually going to defend Starlord here. I've seen so many place the blame squarely on him, as if they wouldn't do the same thing if they had gone through everything he has throughout his life. He lost his mother, he was taken from his home, he killed his biological father and watched as his surrogate father passed away. Now he's lost the woman he loves. This guy has gone through hell and to hear that this madman killed her to help create what he think would be a perfect universe no doubt sent him over the edge. And those saying "I'd never do that." , I call absolute bull on that.
@MrBojangles3154 Exactly. When you think about it he is Marvel's most tragic character. He saw his mother die, was taken from his planet, forced to become an outlaw, was forced to kill his father, watched Yondu die while he saved him, and now he's lost the first woman he actually loved. The dude's life has been fucked since a young age.
Agreed. Plus I always thought since Mantis said Thanos was grieving, Nebula figured out he killed Gamora and said so. Without those 2 reveals, Peter wouldn’t have known she was dead and snapped.
@@kimberlyjeanne9456 Yep. You know what I just remembered? When you really think about it Loki was the cause of all this. If he hadn't taken the tesseract from Asguard it would have problem been destroyed during Ragnarok, meaning Thanos wouldn't have taken it and couldn't perform the snap.
I agree that it would happen and is totally in character. I recognize that if that didn't happen things might have gone differently. I don't really fully blame it on him, but am mostly sad/annoyed that it got so close, just to be messed up. I guess I'm annoyed at the universe for it, not a specific character.
@@AshXXMayftw if we assume everything is a reaction, and take a deterministic approach, choice is an illusion and what is is what would be. So it's pointless to assign blame. If you want to go down that whole road.

Great reaction ! I can't wait till you see the next ones ! I was wondering... will you do reactions to each episodes of the MCU Disney + shows ? I would love that !
I watched this last night and the first part at my lunch. The movie has just soooo much going on and you get those small bits of funny to give you a break but all the time you're wondering...ok..what else is going to happen?!? And by the end you are just so used to having them win, you nearly can't fathom them losing. And what's always had me boggled is-- WTH makes Thanos....seemingly unbeatable?!!? Just like...you would've thought, the Hulk or Thor easily able to put him down, but...no. Really well done overall. Was fun as always watching your reactions. 😊
If you have the reality stone, you can change anything into something else, which Thanos does several times in the same scene. Wouldn’t you try using that stone first instead of jumping straight to “kill 50%”? Unless the reality stone isn’t permanent, which may be the case as Drax and Mantis return to normal once Thanos leaves.
I thik the reality stone is just like an ilusion stone, becasue what is real XD exactly what enchantess said to Dr Strange when she explained what they do as protectors of the universe. So I don{t think you can actually affect the reality unless you consider time and all the other things that shape reality and that is exactly why he needed all the stones
They make it clear the things the "Reality Stone" changes don't stay changed once it leaves the area. But, remember how Thanos pulled Strange in. He used Reality and Space to mimic what the Ancient One could do with Dark Dimension magic. So Reality stone by itself won't change permanently, but a combo of Stones will.
@@StopReadingMyNameOrElse So, if you can change reality permanently with all the stones, my question remains, why jump to kill half the universe? Why not try something else? Have everyone require fewer resources. Create numerous resource-manufacturing machines for every inhabited planet. But the reason is Thanos is crazy, and you can’t argue with crazy (how would he know Gamora’s planet is doing fine? Has he been back there? No. We’ve seen what he does, either invade and kill 1/2 or sit in a floating throne in outer space. Checking up on previous conquests is very un-Thanos-like. He’s simply shifting his argument to fit his assumptions, which is what crazy people do)
The Russo brothers were able to make me cry because a cgi raccoon’s tree friend turned to dust 😢 they’re definitely amazing filmmakers… but it hurt so much more when it was confirmed that the last thing Groot said to Rocket translated to “dad.” 😭
It always angered me how much people hate on quill. Like anyone in his position would do the same thing if they lost someone they loved. I found it very realistic, he let his emotions get the best of him. No one in his position would do any different upon learning that the person they loved was killed, they wouldn’t be thinking of the bigger picture. Like if Ironman lost pepper he wouldn’t have reacted the same way? smh 🤦♀️
There are rules one must adhere to when watching a movie you've seen with someone who has not. You can't utter the line: "Oh I love/hate this part" And you can't show anticipation for something that is about to happen.
This dude drives me crazy, it's watching a movie with the annoying friend who's seen it. Constantly providing his own opinions before the guy can form his own, cutting off good lines of discussion, looking over constantly like "did you like that". It's everything bad about watching a movie with friends.
Glad that they at least gave Thanos a reason for what he's doing that wasn't just his comic reason but lbr it was dumb. Couldn't just use all that power to help resources? Is no creature going to reproduce smh. Still knowing how it would probably end I was still so shocked.
Many put shame on Starlord for his reaction but really it was the only course of actions that DrStrange saw that would lead to victory. Finally, Starlord did what must have to be done
@@parkerboy795 It is because in this case they were so close to get the glove of and (maybe) stop Thanos. -But the moment where Thor misses still angers me more.
That scene where Thor is preceded by Stormbreaker and then joins the battle has to be one of the top 5 best scenes of the entire MCU timeline. . . The part where Steve Rogers holds his own against the Infinity Gauntlet and Thanos is surprised . . . The part where Peter Parker falls against Tony as he senses it taking him too but hangs on longer than everyone else . . . And the part where Fury drops the pager and we see the Marvel symbol - and I’m absolutely screaming . . . I was a wreck and in a daze walking back to my dorm in the dark after watching this movie. 😱🤯😭😤 Ugh the only time I hate hearing the sound of violins - that infuriating ending. I’m mad all over again Edit: Is Steve Rogers identifying more as just Steve Rogers? Not gonna go into it but noting that. 🤔 Me every time I see a mean comment: *count to ten, count to ten* 😤 *don’t go The Incredible Hulk on anybody, stay Avengers: Infinity War Hulk* … good Smeagol, not bad Smeagol … good Gryffindor, not slimy Slytherin …
One thing I'd like to add about Thanos is that he doesn't only blindly believe he's in the right, he challenges his own Destiny. Once he gets the second infinity stone, he drops the armor and (after killing the backstabbing Loki) stops killing... he literally doesn't kill anyone opposing him that he doesn't have to to get a stone (like Gamorra and Vision). He proves it was his Destiny to get the stones and snap and has the will to challenge anyone that tries to prove otherwise.
I remember after the release of this movie, everyone is riddled if the snapped characters are permanently dead. But what gave it away for me is that they included Groot. Groot just died in the first GOTG movie, and is in the process of growing back. It doesn't make sense that they will kill Groot again, and repeat the process of him growing.
By the time we get to this movie….all our heroes have or will go thru dark times. Watching Endgame- that’s when they are 💯 about saving everything and everyone, not their own personal agendas. Building trust, loyalty…great life lessons. The next story begins this weekend! 🎥
Wanda is the most powerful avenger left or hero. Thor is the strongest. It’s settled, she held Thanos off against the infinity stones and she nearly kills him. This movie is incredible, sits close to my heart.
Had to bring with me ye olde Marvel Encyclopedia from Elementary school with me I was that hyped and that in tuned with this film I’ll never forget the experience I had
The Peter part is crazy because his spider sense must've been going nuts warning him of what was happening, not to mention his healing ability trying to save him as well. Tom Holland's improvisation in that scene is fantastic. That part gets me every time.
I think the scarier thought is that his body sensed it was dying, so that's what he was feeling.
Not imminent danger, imminent death.
Maybe thats the reason why the spider sense was temporarily disabled in Far From Home
@@nobody34-w4j that’s a reasonable idea yeah!
@@Souledex Peter pulled the trigger on Gamora tho, Thanos used the stone, which is why he probably said to Peter 'I like you' before he took her
@@reecejohnson6357 yeah. And Wanda killed Vision. But they were unwilling to do it when it mattered and got nonillions killed.
@@Souledex This may sound wrong, but considering you'd have to be like Thanos in order to make sacrifices like that without hesitation, that's not a bad thing. And technically, they did try when it mattered. Thanos however, made their choices irrelevant.

peter parker’s death was all improvised by tom. peter practically felt himself dying and was the only one who knew it would happen apart from strange.
wanda and visions scene, both lizzie and paul improvised that scene 100% and i cry every single time. (“i just feel you” - wanda vs “i just feel you” - vision)
gamoras death scene makes me cry as well because of the dynamic 😭 the music was amazing!!
and finally loki’s death scene, i was crying five minutes in. i just kept being reminded that thor and loki FINALLY started to develop a relationship after Ragnarok and i can’t believe that was taken away from us.
i can’t wait for the endgame reaction!!! you guys are amazing
I don't know if anyone else pointed this out, but the reason Peter was so horrified is because his spider-senses were going absolutely crazy, sensing the danger of him disappearing, but because it was the loss of his existence, it left him completely terrified to the bone, unable to see exactly *what* the danger was. He quite literally felt his OWN existence ENDING, Poor dood.

one of my favourite little things about this movie is that Thor continues to call Rocket, Rabbit, and Rocket just never bothers to correct him. but then you go and watch gotg1&2 and everytime hes called something other than Rocket he gets mad
Same it’s a cool way to show that rocket respects Thor especially after their moment hearing all the things he’s lost and been through. And coming from a character like rocket it really shows a lot about who Thor is
11:28 "Okay, Quill, you gotta cool it right now. You understand?"

While I agree that Tony's statement is a bit hypocritical, they weren't really trying to save the world/universe when he found out Bucky killed his parents. lol
@@jbplcpk It wouldn't have mattered. If Strange saw another way he would stop Quill. He didn't, so he let it happen.
thank you! no one ever points this out. half of what tony ever says anyway is hypocritical.
Strange failed because he knew what would happen and so he took the lesson the ancient one gave to him: "in order to succeed one must occasionally fail."
okay bullet points:
- yes this is 100% a thanos movie. he is the protagonist. it is a hero's journey. he's not a "good guy" but it is HIS hero's journey. i love that you guys get that.
- i know you guys didn't talk about thor much here but in revisiting this and endgame recently (and watching a couple of really fantastic essays by full fat videos that i'll link in a second), thor has become my second favorite MCU character. steve will always and forever be the very best, no way anyone will ever top that one, but thor's journey is absolutely amazing. it really started for me with ragnarok, and then IW, and then endgame is just... shit. wait until ninetailedbrush watches that one before you guys take a peek at these essays, okay? but if anyone else is interested:

Also love how since Civil war Steve is just Steve, he never says I'm Captain America
Right? I’m noting that too now 🤔 Like he’s winding down
tbh, besides when he first introduces himself to the POW's in First Avenger, I don't recall a time when he non-ironically introduces himself as Captain America.
Not to mention she destroyed one stone while holding back the other five
i never realized that
So fun story.
This is the cutest thing ever
I also got really angry with Quill… until Doctor Strange gives says his last word before si appearing to dust. Can’t wait for you to react to Endgame!

I said this in the first part, but since the scene is in this part, I'm going to say it again.. I think a lot of people don't realize that Quill messing up the Thanos attack was meant to happen. Doctor Strange saw all possibilities, and that was something that needed to happen for them to win in the end..
yeah
star lord didnt know that it should happen so that later they can win. From star lords point of view, he completely lost control of himself and jeopardized the whole mission. Just because that was supposed to happen doesnt mean it was a good move from his pov. If thats the case, we could say people shouldnt dislike thanos because all of this was supposed to happen anyway.

The creatures that Thanos unleashed on Wakanda are called " Outriders ". They first appeared in the event " Infinity " by Jonathan Hickman.
Cool detail at 10:50. Those are the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak. They come from the same entity that gave Juggernaut his powers.
I went back to the theatre a second time just to watch Thor's arrival at Wakanda again.
Haha totally relate. I play it back like 10 times every time I reminisce. Just epic
just a second time???
in total, I saw it six times....
Yeah we just reacting and our initial thought, but ur right. I agreeb
Watching you discussion on Quill's stupid action, and just remembered Star Lord's quote "I'm a half-human and 50% of that's stupid, that's 100% you"))) I guess is not about humanity, that was another Celestial's 50%...))😅

yeah and someone who was driving a train is snapped Leaving the Passengers on the train to perish in a collision course or random People dying in thousands of car crashes because the drivers were snapped
Cap was actually dead when Thanos hit him but he arised from dead when thanos took back time
The “it’s so anime” part got me lol
The all that for a drop of blood scene with Tony and thanos is a reference to iron man 2. If u make god bleed (said by ivan)
Ahhh no when I found out that Groot said Dad.....I.....the dusting still hurts

You don't really respond well to learning a loved one is dead and the murderer of them is right in front of you
Man the sacred timeline hurts like a bitch😭
So many things that go wrong and technically need to happen but only for the sacred timeline.
As long I saw other guys reaction channel..?. U guys are really honest and understood the context.. even THANOS.. everyone hates him but u understood his destiny. 👏👏👏👌👌👌🙏🙏🙏 Lots of from India guys.
Thanks brother
@@whitenoisereacts anytime bub..... U guys react to HISHE videos after ENDGAME.💪💙💙💪
Great reaction ! I can't wait till you see the next ones ! I was wondering... will you do reactions to each episodes of the MCU Disney + shows ? I would love that !
Heck yeah!!
@@whitenoisereacts yeah !! I can't wait ! 😁
He’s not a dwarf he’s a giant. That’s the irony.
All that for a drop of blood, always makes me think of IM2 and Vanko telling Stark about blood in the water
I haven’t re-watched this movie in so long. Watching Chadwick dust away with him actually gone now hit me so hard in the feels man.
Yes, all the scenes with him feel so different now.
I mean they just came up with that since they switched why Thanos wanted the stones in the movie
He’s simply shifting his argument to fit his assumptions, which is what crazy people do)
Because he's the villain. Basically.
:P
😳😭💔😡 Emotions we felt leaving the theater….
" this dwarf ..." dude that's Peter Dinklage ... tyrion ? game of thrones ??? the amazing talented award winning actor ???
He doesn't know movies ...so he don't know who he is
The Russo brothers were able to make me cry because a cgi raccoon’s tree friend turned to dust 😢 they’re definitely amazing filmmakers… but it hurt so much more when it was confirmed that the last thing Groot said to Rocket translated to “dad.” 😭
Like if Ironman lost pepper he wouldn’t have reacted the same way? smh 🤦♀️
True. People talk big, but I wager they don't want to think what would happen in his shoes. I know I wouldn't want to know.
Not this scene making me cry again 😭😭
Forge in a dying star - YES its' cool as (F*!!)! You are Right, James!
Heck yeah!!!
There are rules one must adhere to when watching a movie you've seen with someone who has not.
You can't utter the line: "Oh I love/hate this part"
And you can't show anticipation for something that is about to happen.
This dude drives me crazy, it's watching a movie with the annoying friend who's seen it. Constantly providing his own opinions before the guy can form his own, cutting off good lines of discussion, looking over constantly like "did you like that". It's everything bad about watching a movie with friends.
Considering that he is meeting Rogers maybe that "i am Groot" was indeed "i am Groot".
Also I think you should do Black Widow before Endgame, it'll be a better fit especially for her as a character
Not really there is a spoiler in the post credit scene.
Glad that they at least gave Thanos a reason for what he's doing that wasn't just his comic reason but lbr it was dumb. Couldn't just use all that power to help resources? Is no creature going to reproduce smh. Still knowing how it would probably end I was still so shocked.
That's the point. It's insane, but he thinks it's rational.
Many put shame on Starlord for his reaction but really it was the only course of actions that DrStrange saw that would lead to victory. Finally, Starlord did what must have to be done
Those people tend to forget how everyone else also slipped up.
I’m mad all over again
Edit:
Is Steve Rogers identifying more as just Steve Rogers? Not gonna go into it but noting that. 🤔
Me every time I see a mean comment: *count to ten, count to ten* 😤 *don’t go The Incredible Hulk on anybody, stay Avengers: Infinity War Hulk* … good Smeagol, not bad Smeagol … good Gryffindor, not slimy Slytherin …
"WHERE'S THE HANDLE!?"
😂😂 I think a lot of people needed therapy after this movie.
Can't wait for you guys to watch WandaVision and rest of the shows. Specially NTBs reaction. 😬
If you want to experience some of the theatre hype there are audio reactions available on RUclips
