He jokes around so much in that show with those who come on the compete against him. The F Word used to come on BBC America channel but they took it off eventually. :( Guess he's focused mainly on making it big in the US with Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares.

Identifying foods based on taste and smell alone is actually way harder than it looks. You'd be amazed at how confused you get without the visual information you experience every time you eat something.

MynameisBrianZX It's a little harder but if you have those foods *a lot* then it can be done quite easily. If people have them only once in a while (couple of months between) then it'll be much harder on them. It all depends on the individual and how often they have the foods in such a test.
Put Ramsay through the test and he'll ace it because he has these foods on a regular basis.
***** You are right, our senses become heightened, but it takes time for it to happen. Our bodies need time to adjust, that's why it's hard to identify the food in the beginning =)
