Manual mode-highway-speed around 75-85-gives mileage of 16. AMT -eco mode-18.6 on highway.(all stats are for Adventure Rhythm AMT). If manual mode on 60-65- on highway-the mileage crosses 20 also,but gear shifting will have to be minimum.
Hello , in one day my new tata punch has started giving issue with AMT gearbox. AMT gearbox goes in Neutral mode while driving !!! and in manual mode it is not doing upshift !!! any suggestion what to do ??
I don't understand how you are calculating average/combined efficiency. It should be (81.96+79.03)/(4.39+6.15)=15.27kmpl. but you say it is 14.29kmpl. How?

Its not that great and the reliability is questionable of 3 cylider tatas if you book punch onroad price will cost 8 lalks , in this range there is much better options like swift vxi 1.2 4 cylinder dualjet amt which is way ahead than punch and then zeta ignis amt , grand i10 nios 1.2 amt so test drive and choose wise
I would defer. The engine is inferior. You should know that. Everything else is great. If you ignore slightly lower performance and fuel efficiency it should be a good choice
@@JOE-ob7ic I'm Tiago owner for 3 years relaibility is superb and mine is AMT. No breakdowns or issues till now. Weekly 1000+ kms travel. AMT shifts are not that quick and it's not much performance oriented but mileage oriented AMT.
Do you call that city drive?! The least you could call it is Suburb outer ring drive. City mileage test should be done in actual indian city traffic conditions. If done that way most cars' City mileage would be 8 to 10 kmpl

As mentioned in 02:43, we conduct the runs in both Eco and City mode. AC is always on and set according to ambient temperature.
Mr.Red shirt... Eco mode is for highway and City mode is to be used while driving in city.

0.75 * City Mileage + 0.25 * Highway Mileage

It's not jerky, but it is not quick. You will get used to it if you are not looking for a sporty driving experience
