@@papadiom9260 Well, I don't know anything about Jane because I never read the books since I've heard how much Twilight was hated ever since and I definitely didn't expect it was going to be anyway. Ok what happened to Carlisle scared the sh*t outta me but... Can we appreciate how much and how freakin great of a father moment that was? “Let her go!!” Aka “Get your hands off my daughter”
Fire Nation Soldier did you read the book or watch this?? The scene where the caius says “ bring the informant forward.” Thats irina the chick who snitched to the older vampires about reneseme( Bella and Edwards daughter.)
The fact that they all knew not to start something over the death of Irina but immediately jumped into battle for Carlisle is so telling of how beloved he is, by everyone.
Can we just talk about how Emmett protected Bella from Alec when he saw that Alex was going after Bella?? I love that he protected and helped Bella fight Alec.
Emmett is the strongest vampires of course with him witnessing the death of their adopted father he had to eliminate the leaders main guards emmets cool i like Emmett
This was so clever. Giving us the action and the shock value of the characters’ deaths without it being permanent. And showing Bella’s powers at their full potential. She’s the only newborn so she’s the strongest vampire there. Her shield power makes so much sense since she’s always hated not being able to protect anyone and now she can. It’s so badass.
I know right? Bella became such a strong woman and as much of hate she gets, she actually had a character development; from a depressed teen to a powerful woman who protects her family at all cost. I wish people appreciated that more.

@@josuealc6259 it kind of was though, which I think makes it better. In the book, Aro holds Alice’s hand for a long time while she is showing him something. As a reader, we never quite find out what that vision was… but the movie brought it to life. It made me love that aspect of it even more, because I didn’t see it as a cheap twist, but a visualization of what we didn’t get to know about from the book. I thought it was a great way to add it and tie it to the book ending perfectly. The reason they decided to walk away is because Alice showed them they would lose.
Ye I haven't seen twilight. Perhaps i will later on but i dont know shit about it. But this scene damn. I understand its pretty emotional because of a lot of character dying but its iconic ngl

I bust out in tears every single time I see Seth’s death. When I watched this in theaters I actually screamed when Carlisle died. Someone’s dad yelled “that wasn’t in the book!” But oh my gosh Seth’s death destroyed me! And Leah’s was so tragic even if she saved Esme. Esme was so heartbroken. Jasper’s death was amazing. It was so sad but it took three of them to take him out.

I dragged my bf to the movies to see this and he gasped louder than me when Carlisle was killed 😭😭 The whole theater couldn’t believe it. Still one of my favorite scenes of all time.
This scene is brilliant. Best scene in all these movies and it wasn’t even in the book! So very clever to give us a much needed action finale with a twist.
They're all monsters. The volturi are at worst lawful evil while the other vampires are chaotic neutral at best. With the volturi gone the vampires would have free reign to openly prey on humanity. It would be a massacre. The cullens would be fine with it as long as they're not personally killing any humans.
The fact that the reason what the whole fight actually started wasn't because they wanted to fight but because such a good friend, husband and father figure was murder is the best of this scene
they all had super strength...it's not like some normal person could like just pull a vamp's head off or something. You would think though that the super strength would also make their heads stay on better, but it seems like it was pure offense, and defensively they weren't much stronger than humans. They were more durable because they could jump off high stuff and run fast but apparently offense > defense to some extent
kills to see the death of Seth and Lea. how shocked his sister and friend Jacob was at the death of Seth, the kindest, bravest and most charming wolf (he befriended Edward!). and then Lea, who never liked vampires but was touched by Esme's concern for her and the pack, sacrificing herself for her. it is even sadder for the reason that Lea accepted this sacrifice because she did not want to continue to live without her brother. that's why Sam's revenge on Jane looks even more gorgeous. he was able to avenge Seth
The way Alice screams when Jasper is killed always sends chills down my spine. Witnessing the love of her life being killed in front of her and not being able to help because she’s being held back must have been absolutely traumatizing. It was so satisfying when she managed to get out of their grip from all the anger and fury she felt in that moment. The most satisfying part was when she threw Jane over to Sam as payback
Gotta love the way it went in the beginning, it was a game of ..ok do we attack? What do we do , who is going to attack first etc .... Carlisle death sent them from 0-100 with no hesitation, after they burned his body there was no question , all out war!!!
I remember when i read the book i was wondering how they could make it interesting for the movie, since it was rather anticlimactic. This scene was absolutely perfect
@@jackjohnson8305 They never had the fight scene, it was just them talking and Bella’s inner dialogue about the tension between everyone and her using her ability to put a shield over everyone. The immortal kid came and told his story, the Volturi basically agreed that they would leave them alone and still have occasional check ins, and that was the end of it!
Everyone in the cinema laughed when someone yelled “ALL THAT FOR A F*CKING VISION?!” The whole place cracked up that I couldn’t focus on the movie anymore 😂😂😂
1:12 the accuracy of what a pack is! The Alpha was like “Not fuckin yet! Wait bitches!” Then when HE was ready they all went...i love that little detail....
Carlisle and Esme are the most caring and protective parents that you will ever meet. See the way he runs to save Alice and Jasper, to save them from harms way even if it will risk their lives in the process.
I love how when Jasper and Alice get captured they all kinda move in towards the Volturi but then when Carlisle dies they’re all just like “OH HECK NO! YOU CANNOT KILL THE MOST SELFLESS, AMAZING PERSON HERE (minus Esme who is married to Carlisle) AND GET AWAY WITH IT!!” Even people who didn’t even know him already realized how good a person he was so they all just charge at the Volturi. Also can we please acknowledge the fact that in a span of like two minutes, Alice was standing right next to the man who is essentially her father when he gets torn apart and then set on fire then like one minute later is forced to watch as the love of her life gets murdered. Like…this queen did not deserve to go through that!
Somehow, I always rewatch this scene. Seeing it for the first time in the theater knowing that the book did not follow that chronology of events was interesting (It still is!) I still remember all the emotions I felt the first time I saw it and seeing it again always brings me back a little bit of youth. The cast was incredible, along with Eclipse, it's my favorite movie in the saga.
I died XD I had to look, and then I saw Aro's face and I pictured him looking at pizza like that I know it's terrible but man XD XD XD I laughed so hard I started coughing
What Twilight did here was actually pretty genius...they found a way to kill main characters without really killing them. Most movies either the main characters had too much plot armor and survived anything, making it very unrealistic, or they killed off main characters and it was too overwhelming for the viewers. Here they were able to kill them off AND have them survive...not an easy thing to do. Plus we get the action scene of this huge battle even though it doesn't even take place...pretty genius really.
I completely agree. I was honestly sort of dreading the second part of Breaking Dawn because I remember reading the book and WAITING for this ultimate fight scene that never even happened!! I thought the movie was going to be the same way and it technically was, but it’s so much cooler it showed us Alice and Aro’s perspective instead of the reality: which was everyone just standing around until nothing happened and then they all went home 😅
I disagree. The dream itself is a HUGE plot armor. I would rather a bittersweet ending, with lots of the main characters ACTUALLY dying. But at least, the scene made a better ending than the book.
@@wandersonfrancisco8494 but the reason I called it genius is because they would never have done that in a movie like this. The running charge started and they slowed down the film just for laughs to see just how many people in the theater was gonna go off. The first jump in the air and everyone screamed "Kill Them All!" Emotions after that were unilaterally 1000% the entire fight. When the scene was done and it turned out to be a vision I lie to you it rained popcorn, food and soda everywhere as literally EVERYONE was genuinely pissed. I mean it was damn near riot starting bad. Meanwhile im in the back row like what the hell did i just witness lol. Never forgetting that.
I remember in the the theaters everybody started clapping when Jane died! That shit was so funny!
Sounds like they all hated her lol.
@@ChelseatheCreativeFox-pc2xz who doesn’t hate the bitch
Chisom Ololo I mean who does not ?? All the bitch does, is talk shit & belittle them. Then when it comes to fighting, she just throws some witchcraft attacks. Bella actually having a shield power was the ultimate gift for Jane’ s murder..
@@papadiom9260 Well, I don't know anything about Jane because I never read the books since I've heard how much Twilight was hated ever since and I definitely didn't expect it was going to be anyway. I just didn't know that she was unlikable when I watched this video a month ago; I was just interested in this watching this again since I've watched it way before. 🤷🏻♀️
Why Jane was the best character lol
Ok what happened to Carlisle scared the sh*t outta me but...
Can we appreciate how much and how freakin great of a father moment that was?
“Let her go!!” Aka “Get your hands off my daughter”
Someone compared irina and him Carlisle was worth fighting for
@@musememe1349
Who's Irina?
Fire Nation Soldier did you read the book or watch this?? The scene where the caius says “ bring the informant forward.” Thats irina the chick who snitched to the older vampires about reneseme( Bella and Edwards daughter.)
@@thalmoragent9344 exactly she's just forgettable
Ikr
The fact that they all knew not to start something over the death of Irina but immediately jumped into battle for Carlisle is so telling of how beloved he is, by everyone.
Well I mean quite literally 90% of the people there were there because they loved him/owed him one
Regardless of what people said about this movie. This was one of the most intense scenes ever
Can we just talk about how Emmett protected Bella from Alec when he saw that Alex was going after Bella?? I love that he protected and helped Bella fight Alec.
I thought it was funny how he defeated Alec so easily and quickly even though Alec is 4 times his age
Emmett is the strongest vampires of course with him witnessing the death of their adopted father he had to eliminate the leaders main guards emmets cool i like Emmett
I don’t get why Alec just didn’t just cut Emmett’s senses off instead of charging at him, unless Bella’s shield was up off screen.,
Jayden J his powers take some time it’s not like Jane
YES!!!
Not really, it's always very lazy writing when character deaths that just end up being undone immediately
For me, it's just lazy writing. I would rather the bittersweet ending instead of this convenient one. At least there was a fight as we don't even get that in the book.
im pretty sure the writer just wanted to keep her characters alive so she could come back to the world at some point
@@ohmysoysauce6823 yeeah definitely thats why. It's still lazy ass writing. It's like when you write BUT IT WAS ALL A DREAM in your middle school essays
1:35 best shot for me-Edward flying into the fight with Sam and Leah jumping alongside him👌
The way jane had to use the pain thing with jasper as the only way to kill him bc he was fighting just fine against 3 volturi's. And then how emmett and alice avenged him was just satisfactory
I mean he has serious combat skills

@@josuealc6259 it kind of was though, which I think makes it better. In the book, Aro holds Alice’s hand for a long time while she is showing him something. As a reader, we never quite find out what that vision was… but the movie brought it to life. It made me love that aspect of it even more, because I didn’t see it as a cheap twist, but a visualization of what we didn’t get to know about from the book. I thought it was a great way to add it and tie it to the book ending perfectly. The reason they decided to walk away is because Alice showed them they would lose.
