Tuned Porsche Cayman R Review - Is This More R Than a Stock Cayman R? | EvoMalaysia.com

In this video, I'm going to review a heavily but tastefully upgraded Cayman R. It completely enhanced the driving experience of the R which was very surprising as most mod cars change the characteristic of the car.

Here are the list of upgrades:
SUSPENSION
- Bilstein B16 PSS9 2way adjustable coilovers installed at about 20000km
- RSS/ Torque Solution ball toe links F/R
- Elephant camber plates
BRAKES
- Front AP Racing 5000R 6 piston calipers, 410mm discs, EBC Yellow pads
- Rear Brembo GT4 4 piston calipers, 365mm discs, Wetteraurer Racing pads
- BF Goodrich steel brake lines
- GT3 underbody brake ducts
ENGINE
- IPD intake plenum (original plenum and throttle body supplied)
- 82mm 997 GT3RS throttle body
- BMC high flow filter
- Soul Performance catless headers (original headers supplied)
- Softronic Stage 2 tune
TRANSMISSION
- Sachs carbon clutch
- Numeric solid shift cables
- Numeric billet short shift linkage

I don't like the farts and the exhaust sounds a bit unrefined / bassy for me is but all that pales in comparison with the fun you're having. Very nice car!

Yeah the Farts and Exhaust sounds are unapologetically Loud. Hahaha. I think it'll be nice for a morning run or Touge. But maybe too much as a daily. And yes. It's ridiculous fun!

Thomas..try to get your hand on
a Lotus Elise Mk1 with a K20 engine mod and do a review. The power to weight ratio should make it very interesting.

One down side to this Lotus is the window can't keep rainwater out whether on the move or stationary. Luckily its all aluminium body otherwise it'll turn into a rust bucket in no time.
