I can get the same thing used but bigger and waaay better for 50 bucks. Wtf. 🤣 Who spends $500 on a couple lbs of plastic with a production cost of maybe $10? Who? Why?!
I usually only buy little things from Temu but recently i took a chance on a full size $41 metal bed frame and so far so good. Ok one it was so heavy and took me a while to assemble but it's super sturdy plus looks amazing. It was a blessing and I'm grateful i went with it. Sometimes you just never know ya know.
The problem with all these products from China are that they arent built to last. We are buying tons of stuff that "works" for a while and then typically breaks, degrades, or malfunctions in some way. That patio furniture set wont last two summers and it could be made of hazardous materials
With the cost of labor difference in US vs China, it's cheaper to buy disposable stuff than "made-to-last" stuff that you'd get repaired once or twice and it'd last 100 years
You can get Allen key drill bits and it saves a ton of effort. Can also just cut regular Allen keys to fit the chuck of your drill. Has saved me countless hours.
Honestly, for $500 I think you could just keep an eye out on holiday or off-season sales and get a better set. That's if you MUST have a new one since you can often find things like this in moving sales.
This the type of stuff people need to see bruh. Most people would play with something like this especially if they’re planning to move within a year or two. Cost less to throw this out than move it
I got a patio set from them. The unit is built well. I’m 300 lbs and it supports me. The only issue are the cryptic directions. Prepare to rotate shapes in your mind. Better than IKEA though . Also use a powered driver. It will make things go very fast.
My parents bought a lampshade off temu, they had no idea what the website is. They just liked it. It was for a lamp in a dollhouse basically…..the laughter we had from that lampshade arriving was totally worth it and they still have it and keep it out next to the new lamp they got just to laugh 😂
I used to work at a high priced furniture retailer building these pieces to be delivered to you. They are poorly built but easily put together when you have the right tools on hand. You did not. You got the furniture "flat packed", in box, where I worked would have charged you 1200 to 2500 for that. Bought, built, delivered, and installed.
I bought sketchy patio set from Amazon last year. $1000 but the comparable style would have set me back $2500. You can tell it's not great but for outside furniture it works. The firetable is a little sus
Looks like the same quality as most basic sets that he compared it to. I put together 5 or more various sets for people last summer. It's all the same, pretty cheaply made until you spend a lot on them.
We bought stuff from Temu as a test run. We didn't receive any of the items and were only able to get a partial refund because the companieS had "gone out of business". I'm sick of our government not protecting us from fraud.
Had sevral of these. If they are made from aluminum ( the skeleton ofc) they last a long time. If its made from cheeap iron ( like most of china use ) they last 1-2 summers. The pole under the seat will break first then its only down hill.
I love my kislux bags. I've had them for a long time and they look like new. I like to spend money wisely. How many people spend all their money on expensive handbags, cars and accessories only to have it blown away? There's nothing special about high priced luxury bags
I’d love it! At 4’6” it would be lovely for me, if I’m lucky I might get to lean back and have my feet on the ground at the same time! I say this all the time measure measure and measure again then pay attention to the measunents on the item you’re buying.
Furniture always says 'local warehouse' on my Temu store so perhaps it's not from China? I dunno if the quality's any good though or if it's not from China - just something I've noticed.
A lot of product have weight limits. If you look under the seat of office chairs you buy you will see there is a weight limit, and it often lower than much of the western population.
That’s quite literally the same description as all patio furniture… The even worse reality is that it looks the same and it’s designed the same as what you’d buy at Lowe’s or Home Depot
I am a firm believer in "buy it once and buy it right" You'll always get more value throughout its lifetime and when you resell. If I like and dont love it it's a nope. With temu you get less responsibility, less material, less quality there for more wear and less resell value. Plus time, in this case to put it together.

Get a cordless electric screwdriver from Aldi.
Ain’t no way bro risked spending $500 on a temu product 😂
He does it so you don't have to
It's a business expense, so he writes it off, and his video probably makes good coin too. He can afford to risk it. You and I can't
I always wondered who buys the products on temu that are over $30
Ya, but they can steal his credit card information
@@Donu-s8o not worth it to them tbh
Not worth 500. Maybe 175
En europe you aint getting all that for 600
I would say 220
99.99 and not a penny more
She said not even 200😂 I agree
Please Do not ganna lie .
Easy way to make sure you dont get scammed on the size is to read the dimensions. They're always in the description, but no one ever looks
I wouldn't say that you got scammed but for $500 you sure as hell could have got something a lot better
He did get scammed . That's a 200 dollar Chinese set
@droo3010 lol maybe in a America that's be 1000 set here in New Zealand

How has it held up? Do you still like it?
@@tanyamath8772 it's holding up great! Thank you for inquiring. I still love it and am thinking about ordering another one.
$41 that's cheap wow
How can one never know uh sometimes? 😂 What?
@@RiaE.S
Wait. You like your bed frame so much that you're ordering a second one? What is going on here?! Bahahahaha 🤣
The children that made that set did so good
This should not make me laugh like ya did😂😂😂😂😂
💀.
They have smaller hands so they can be more precise in their craft
As someone who is 6’5” 280 I appreciate your direct recommendation!
The problem with all these products from China are that they arent built to last. We are buying tons of stuff that "works" for a while and then typically breaks, degrades, or malfunctions in some way.
That patio furniture set wont last two summers and it could be made of hazardous materials
Hazardous materials is the most scary part I mean we all know this, don't wait till it happens to you
Yup. They may look good for few months then deteriorate quickly. My metal license plate holder already started to peel off after few months.
With the cost of labor difference in US vs China, it's cheaper to buy disposable stuff than "made-to-last" stuff that you'd get repaired once or twice and it'd last 100 years
People always say that crap like they know where the things they buy come from and what they're made of.
@@chaoswitch1974I do. Research is not always easy but it is possible.
😂😂😂"i got squatty potty vibes"lol😂😂you are too cute and funny.Kudos for the tenacity and patients putting it together.Thats really a good trait.❤
Can't help but feel a used patio set would be better quality at a similar price
Just saw how they make tons of things in china. Id do a chemical test on all of it. Chances are its laced or built with hazardous materials
The same set at Walmart is twice the price rn on sale and it's the same quality
This is facts.
So who’s scamming who 😢
1k?! For this garbage?! Why?!!!
A damn flea market or swap meet. Would have been 20 times better for 500$ hell even big lots 😂😂😂😂😂
Big lots have many of the same suppliers that temu sells lol
TOO MANY BOLTS IS ACTUALLY A SAFETY BONUS
Or if it’s just cheap😊
I bought something very similar to that 3 years ago and it all has to be thrown out. It’s completely falling apart.
You can get Allen key drill bits and it saves a ton of effort. Can also just cut regular Allen keys to fit the chuck of your drill. Has saved me countless hours.
This exact set is on sale on the UK version of temu for £79.99 which is around $89
I am starting to believe that the average human is actually too ret@rded to use a search engine.
Honestly, for $500 I think you could just keep an eye out on holiday or off-season sales and get a better set. That's if you MUST have a new one since you can often find things like this in moving sales.
I hear you. We bought an awning that ended up exactly what we were hoping for.

Brother you need an electric impact gun or wrench for these occasions you can always buy long driving bits for the hard to reach areas. Just a though
Rip that credit card. 5 bucks says there are fraudulent charges on it in 4-5 months and you have to cancel it.
Buy quality when it comes to furniture you expect to keep for at least 5 years.
I am about 6'2 350 pounds. Think I will pass on that 🛋
8 Elixier build
There's not many pieces of furniture you don't break, honestly. I hope you sit on the floor at your friend's houses.

My credit card info was sold off by them. How do I know is was them. I only did one transaction in that card. Never again!

$60 max
At Aldi.
The lady with the couch tho 😂😂😂😂
I would have bought the didgeridoo.
Yeah my thought for sure
It's tough enough avoiding garbage on Amazon. Why does anyone take their chances with fkg _Timu?_
Because they are the EXACT same items 😂
Because most people are cognitively impaired.

not this dude using the long end of an alan wrench when he could use the short end to make the job easier xD
Never risk spending a lot of money on temu
$500? Wow, I would pay $100 at most. I just know it won't stay in that condition too long.
Same. People are insane.
That is the same as what you get quality wise at Walmart near me 😂

Every piece of furniture in my home has a welded base. My kids are furniture unalivers! 🤦🏾♀️🤣🤣🤣 I do mean errrrthang my husband is a genius.😂😂😂😂😂
Boy gotta learn how to use an Allen key 😂

People need to read the fine print before furniture or appliance purchases from Temu.

No way. Outdoor furniture is really expensive
Lmao $500 for that. I’ve seen those sets at a local swap meet for $100

The best part of Stevie making content like this? The tax write-off.
You could probably flip those for profit by drop shopping it. Patio furniture is surprisingly expensive.
