Thanks for showing how this bolts up, was lokking to buy one so i can put a type 2 in my 69 baja, and couldnt figure out what was going on with the product from their web page. Now that i know i will be ordering one soon, looks like a good product that will suite my 240+ hsp engine well.
Are you running 3x3 Arms? I’m in the middle of installing mine and was told I needed to move trans back to accommodate the 3x3 arms so the cups line up.
Hey Donovan, I thought I replied. I am sure you figured this out by now but no I did not move the trans back. It might be a nice thing to have but would be a lot of work.
Are you running 3x3 arms? I have that same kit and was told I had to move my trans back about 3 inches so my cv cups line up. I welded on spacers to the mount but now I’m having issues with the shift link not reaching.
Have a 914 engine and transmission that I want to put into my 67 Ghia. Other than reversing the ring gear on the transmission, is there anything else that needs to be done? And the transmission is a side shift transmission.
@@BrettStCyr, I came across another video on here and it appears that the side of the transmission where the drive axle connects needs to be opened up and the ring gear pulled out and put back in reverse order.

Hey Craig, I am really not sure on that. Someone else built the transmission for me. Sorry I can't be more help
