Amazing achievement !!! I congratulate you, Mo Niemczuk, on this excellent and figurative analysis !!! Beside technique issues, Etude no 4, op 10, is a real miracle of rigorous and imposing style, full of balanced power and titanic strength. It is also often called by its nickname, "TORRENT", due to its tremendous coda which culminates by ruining down any physical or mental resistance for pianists and auditors. In my opinion, once this etude is carefully listened and examined, no-one can, by any means, get rid of its magic prime and wild beauty !!! No solution exists for the "victims", other than yielding to its attractive magnetism for a life-time !!!
This was the best analysis I have seen so far about this etude! This is probably my favorite chopin etude.
You did a great job explaining the "battle" of the two hands and how they are pushing and challenging each other. It was surely not easy to talk and to play at the same time. Very well done! :-) Thank you for this great analysis!!!
Yes please - Analysis of 2 Part Inventions! Maybe French Suites too?
could be a great idea!
I couldn’t stop laughing as I watched through the class, thank you Greg for teaching us the techniques with so much humor and enthusiasm, such a pleasure to watch! 😄🙏
Wonderful!!! I'm so happy you love it!
The greatest analyst! Greg explain each work so well, with so much dedication, so much love for the pieces. You can actually see the real joy this man is having in these lectures
Indeed! I have a lot of fun. Thanks!!
I would *LOVE* a series on Bach’s Inventions or Well-Tempered Clavier.
Although I have literally the highest respect for Chopin, I do not share his passion for Bach. I find it very beautiful and stimulating… but I like Chopin more. I’m sure that with your analysis I would happily, as you could, move from Chopin to - perhaps - his master, Bach.
A note - I’ve just finished learning Chopin’s Etude op 10 no 5 from your analysis, and now here I go with no 4. I could never thank you enough for these videos. Your enthusiasm not only justifies but also strengthens my own enthusiasm for Chopin.
Eye opening analysis and demonstration. Thank you!
Great job of opening up this etude for us, with its multiple technical challenges & fun parts - chapeau !
Thank you Sir!
Simply amazing work you do with these videos. Very impressive and, overall, really helpful. Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Great way of opening the video for this etude with Bach’s invention!
I really love your analysis please keep this up sir
Thank you! Of course! So far there are already almost 200 videos like that! I'll continue making them!
Thank you so much for this marvelous series on Chopin's etudes. I have never heard these before and I'm loving your live playing plus analysis. This is my favorite so far. I can't wait to hear more.
Yeeey!!! Watch all my episodes!!
@@gregniemczuk I've been watching your channel since September. I know I've seen most of your episodes, if not all. I'm really loving the etudes episodes. It is very interesting to hear your comments on what each etude is intended to improve. Listening to your analysis helps me hear & appreciate so much more detail. It is amazing how you can talk & play at the same time. Youe enthusiasm really adds a lot to each episode. 🎵 🎶
@@carolynk2 dear Carolyn. I love Chopin and this music. Thank you so much for being with me!
The influence Bach had is astounding, wonderful!
Wow! This was an exciting episode! 👏🙏🌹
Very nice analysis
Bravo! - loving these Etude videos
Tutto estremamente interessante.
Did you memorize it hands together or or hand separately?
@@mickizurcher hands together..but it's quite difficult..I think..
You are so funny and your explanation was so clear and interesting!! Thank you Greg, I will subscribe to your channel
Thank you Valentina! Welcome to my musical world!
It’s feels so crazy to see this analysis now because it’s so similar to what I point out in my own video on my channel recently! I’m glad I’m not alone to view this piece in this way!
Wow!!! I must see this. Thanks!!
@@gregniemczuk It's in my video titled "Chopin meets Squid Game". About 55s in, I color-code the notes based on left/right hand: ruclips.net/video/0e5ub1o51hM/видео.html
Eu adoraria ser sua aluna !!! Fantástico !
Great playing, by the way.
such a powerful performance ! Maestro , so in that case, what will happen in the Polish version? I expect an increased power and even more thunders - somehow I know I'm not going to be disappointed.
😊
I started at the end of the piece thinking it was the most difficult part. When in fact the middle section and the left hand part in bar 4/ or 5 gave me the most trouble
Yes, true!
Look forward to an etude cd!
niesamowite...!!!
Love it , 🙏
I would love to see analysis on Bach's music in the future.
Ok!! I'll do it!!!
I love the thumbnails of the videos HAHAHAHAHA
Hahaha! Thanks!!! I know!
I honestly felt like I was being gaslighted when I heard Bach at the beginning of this video.
Hahahahah
is it me? I think the left hand is much easier than the right hand in most spots 😊
Not for everyone
❤😂❤😂
GREG I don’t think this video is labeled correctly….
Hi Micki. Why not?
@@gregniemczuk You got me! I had only listened to a few notes. Shame on me! (Lesson learned!)
첫번째 곡 이름은 무엇인가요??
Bach's Two voice Invention
