the girl in black crying broke my heart when she started crying at 'sometime I wish I have never been born' 💔
Yes; you can almost see a sparkle from her soul before it breaks!
I love watching reactions to Queen. I have to say this was the most genuine and honest reaction I’ve seen. Thank you for watching and sharing one of the greatest bands of my lifetime.😌
Definitely take the dive into more Queen! Their legendary!! :)
You are right about the sound - it becomes even more intense and impactful with headphones .
Nice reaction all!!! Suggest another Queen song - “Somebody to Love” a live performance from 1981 in Montreal . Queen are known for being as good if not better live than studio - and studio is always amazing .
The other iconic Queen performance that others will tell you about is their 20 minute “set” during a day long music extravaganza with 7 live satellites sending broadcast into a guesstimated audience of about 1.9 billion people and 72k audience attending in London and 90k in Philadelphia
Many many top musicians played that day (13th July 1985) to help raise money for relief of the Ethiopian famine - this was “Live Aid” 1985.
Most agree that Queen and in particular Freddie put on the most impressive live performance of all time - it’s a must watch!
agree, definitely need headphones
Live Aid 1985 is a MUST. ❤
Eo
Wembley I think
@@SalvatorMundi86 You know where that is?
@@gabrielbrown1855 No,shure it was not in the Wembley Stadium, because the concert startet at daylight. You can order the video of the Queen performance at the concert. They played around 25 minutes at the live aid concert
I was crying with you. It's a beautiful song, and your reaction was so pure and honest.
Rule #1 - Thou must NEVER pause in the middle of a guitar solo 🤣
Especially when it's a Brian May guitar solo.
NEVER!!!
You guys comitted such a crime, pausing Brian May's guitar solo, lol. Don't do that, NEVER! Lol, great and genuine reaction and what a beatuiful family you are.
NEVER EVER!! Especially if it's by Dr Sir Brian May!
YA'LL are AWESOME 👌 I felt bad when baby girl started crying. ❤❤
awww the little girl was sobbing, she's very sensitive
Great reaction. You need to watch Queen live at the Live Aid 1986.
*1985
Lovely Reaction.Thank You.
My goodness. That is just a roomful of gorgeous 🙂
1.8 billion views. Makes it one of the MOST watched and listened to songs of ALL TIME!
It was beautiful to see how the power of his music all these decades later can still bring someone to tears. Great reaction! :)
That is my favourite song ever I know every word to it
This is what you call a Rock Opera they are amazing. Loved your reaction❤❤❤
You said a cool thing: "Musicians see the future." I think that is because musicians make the future - there is power in their visions and words and they are usually ahead of less creative people in exhorting people to do the right thing and be themselves - so it's a self fulfilling process.
This is a masterpiece. Queen was/is one of the best and most legendary bands that ever existed. Their beauty & grace & creative energy is what they are. Incredible!
The lady on the left: Your tears were so powerful.
I loved everyone’s heartfelt reaction to this fantastic song ….. yes, you should react to more Queen songs. They have like 300 songs over 20 years of hits….many iconic songs that you might recognize. Most all of their songs are better when done live than the studio releases. Please react to Somebody to Love live in Montreal 1981. Thank you
Best band and frontman that ever lived. GOATS!!!!!
BEST SONG EVER MADE!!!!
Someone needed to hug that beautiful young lady in the front when tears rolled down her face. It pierced her heart when he got to the line, "I sometimes wished I'd never been born at all". Bless your sweet soul young lady. ♥️
Love the sweet girl in braids. She has a heart!
To all the huge Queen fans...don't we all wish we could hear Freddie's voice again for the first time
Absolutely, would give anything to hear his controlling and majestic voice
A million times yes
Great reaction guys to Freddies masterpiece.
Wow. Wow. Wow. This is why I love to watch reaction videos. The raw emotion at hearing beautiful music warms my heart. What a sensitive & wonderful family. ❤
Guys, your emotional reaction is so precious. Don't be ashamed of your tears. They are cathartic and soul cleansing. Looking forward to your next reaction. May God Bless you all!
I appreciate SO much your groups reaction. So many people who critique that video laugh nervously because it surprises them. But all of your reactions were full of respect. Thank you. : )
People, you have just heard the best song EVER written in de past 50 years. Just enjoy it!
Girl front left in the black shirt. I had the same reaction. Music is special. Great reaction.
When i first heard this a couple decades ago, i was driving. And i pulled my car over, turned up the radio, closed my eyes and cried while I listened. Best song ever made. Best reaction I've seen, you guys get it
This song is like a modern day opera in three acts. First is the crime and the remorse ‘Mama just killed a man’, Second act is the court case and sentence ‘Let him go! No, we will not let you go’, and finally the last act is the anger and defiance at the sentence ‘so you think you can stop me and spit in my eye?’. Freddie Mercury was a genius, ably backed by guitar maestro Brian May. Imagine what Freddie could have written had he lived longer. ❤ By the way, the silver snake bracelet he is wearing in the video sold recently at auction for $881,000 USD. Freddie was and still is loved.
The lyrics are 'So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye?.
This is such a beautiful song. The lyrics can seem a bit harsh depending upon how you view them, but I have always thought of this song as a reflective idea of an opera. Tragedy, Drama and an ending that never really comes to fruition, leaving the listener to draw their own conclusions...because in the end, nothing really matters. Thank you for your reactions.
So good to see a genuine reaction from people who don't just hear the music, they feel it. Good job!
Thanks - such a classic and unique song.. now almost FIFTY years old... headphones, btw, make it even more amazing... appreciate all of your reactions and look forward to more!
Try this with headphones I promise you will here this differently and properly, and it's brilliant ❤
Reaction Queen somebody to love live 1981 pliss 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
Up
I’ve heard this song referred to as a mock opera. I just love it.
Fun fact. Freddie Mercury although of Persian-Indian descent, was born in the then British Protectorate of Zanzibar in Africa.
You got there before me!! 😀
...als FAROUK BULSARA
He also refused to have his overbite corrected for fear of ruining his amazing tone.
I really love how everyone just gives the space to feel the emotion and discuss their own reactions to it. Lovely group of friends!
It's much better with headphones 👍🏼👍🏼
It's a crime to listen to Bohemian Rhapsody without headphones as you can't get the full effect of the panning etc, and to pause in the middle of Sir Dr Brian May's guitar solo, just a word of advice ! Great reaction to the LEGENDS !
Nice réaction thanks 😊
They just don't make music like this anymore. RIP Freddie Mercury. It's so hard to believe he's been gone 33 years already.
The man he killed was the man he thought he would be. The one his parents wanted him to be and the one that society expected. The rest is the struggle between his dark and light side for control(the guitar & the Piano) eventually becoming one, assimilated and at peace with who he his.
I think he was already trying to show the way he was feeling when he did Queen II have the White and Black sides
Watch the 85 live aid you'll never see anything else like it!! I promise.
I love when people don't only listen to the beauty of the music by actually hear the depth of the story in the song. Freddy's voice was golden and almost always had a message to tell. Thanks for sharing!
Love you guys for showing respect for QUEEN and MY FREDDIE 🌷 G O A T 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛👑👑👑
Lovely reaction, thank you. Please do more Queen but remember two things: first, Queen are always best live, and second, never pause during a Brian May guitar solo or you'll get such grief from fans!
This song is a perfect example of Queen being better in the studio version.
La superposition du son et de l'image est pratiquement parfaite, mais il s'agit bien ici de la version studio.
The superimposition of sound and image is virtually perfect, but this is indeed the studio version.
The girl in green was definitely a big fan of this song.
Wonderful to see a serious and real reaction. You really understood this music and took it to heart.
Hello From southern USA!❤ u guy are a joy. I can not wait to see all the cool things u will get to see!!!! If u need any suggestions let me know! Peace
Freddie Mercury the greatest front man ever. Wonderfully reacted to!
Roundabout by YES off the Fragile album is a peach 🎶🙏🎶
Loved all of your reactions, thank you! If you are not familiar with Queen's live performances, I highly recommend you check them out. There is no better live band, IMO, and certainly no better front man than Freddie Mercury. Queen does not disappoint!
This was a genuine reaction and you can tell ! Right on family! Shout out from Los Angeles. Look forward to your reactions.
These lovely people have such tender hearts, and such very real and very thoughtful reactions to everything they post about. With so many content creators out there doing vile, stupid pranks, or mukbangs, or just being so fakey or outrageous to get any kind of “likes” or “followers”, it is so refreshing to just watch lovely people with sweet hearts quietly watch something and having meaningful, thoughtful conversations about it. Authenticity can ba spotted a mile away, and this wonderful little group is as authentic as it gets. I’d pick them anytime and all the time over any of the attention prostitutes out there online, who’d sell their dignity for a little bit of internet fame.
Hugs for the lovely girl on the left 🫂
Watch Queens live from Montreal 1981 called Somebody to Love
this is music. No autotune. People actually playing instruments. You might want to try Peter Frampton, he was just inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. Midnight special do you feel like we do. Good voice great guitarist maestro on the talk box which he made popular.
When I was a teenager back in the 80’s, I would go into the kitchen while my Mom was making dinner and belt out ‘Mama, just killed a man…’ I’d sing the whole thing. She was unimpressed 😆
Lol.....
I've seen so many people react to this song and completely not even notice or react to the gun part. Great reaction from great people!
So true.
In my top 3 favorite songs!
To the girl on the left - just wanted to say I love you
What a wonderful piece of creativity 'eh? In ancient Roman times a rhapsody was 3 or more parts. This song certainly has that. I saw Queen and Freddie in concert in Montreal, Nov 24, 1981. To this day well worth the 8000km round road trip it took to get there. Sadly, Freddie also passed the same day and date in 1991. My B-day. I light a candle for him and play Who Wants to Live Forever every year.
Just one of their songs is a complete masterpiece! Guitarist Brian May has a two-part here on RUclips that explains how they layered all of these voices.
Either full
Or 3 part
React to this same song sung live in Montreal 5 years later. Freddie's voice is nothing short of spectacular
The line, 'sometimes i wish i had never been born at all,'.. can really get to those who knows what that feels like. My tears dropped in rivers with her.. big hugs girl.. whatta song eh? Carries you right through that sh*t! :D Only GOOD MUSIC does that. ^_^
The best song in history!
You all are so sweet. Loved your reaction❤
Rule #2 do a reaction to somebody to love in Montreal in 1981.
I throughly enjoyed your reaction to one of my favorite songs from Queen, thank you. Please listen to more of Queen, you won't regret it promise. I've been listening to Queen for about 48 years and I believe I know true Queen fans when I see them and that would be all the beautiful people sitting right in front of me. More Queen please, hint- " White Queen" A Night at the Odeon, Hammersmith, Live 1975. The best hidden gem in their catalog, it's a hauntingly beautiful and incredibly unique.🫶👑🌈💙
You are such a beautiful, sensitive family. ❤️ From northern California ☮️
Not to be taken literally, he didn't kill anyone, only in spirit
The harmonies in the beginning of the song were all Freddie Mercury!! He was the only one signing and laid down 100+ tracks of himself!! Then the band joins in once Freddie is at the piano! RIP Freddie! 💜 Sir Brian May, John Deacon & Roger Taylor 💜
The intro has Mercury singing a five part harmony. They may have been double or even triple-tracked to thicken the sound but no more. The 100+ tracks relate to the operatic section where Freddie, Roger and Brian multi-tracked their voices many times.
@@alanmatthews9945 💜 @More Meet Arthur did a really cool mix breakdown of the song! They narrowed it down to single tracks and played different parts with and with instrumentals or vocals! I absolutely enjoyed it!!
To the girl up front, don't feel bad this song tears me up every time, still love it though
You need to react to Bee Gees , too much heaven , how deep is your love, too love somebody , lonely days, fanny be tender with my love, staying alive. So many more songs, They are brothers and a wonderful band and have a little brother Andy who was also a great singer.please check them out
Check my channel
I have reacted to them
His voice is incredible, and the guitars are soooo good. I'm glad you got to watch and hear this. We lost a true treasure when he died.
You people are beautiful souls. One love. Peace!❤
RIP, Freddie. He owned the stage! Freddie had four extra teeth, but he never had them removed because he didn't want to do anything that might affect his performance. I was 15 when this song came out in 1975 (yes, I'm an old lady!) and I can say that this song and the video were truly ahead of their time. This was six years before MTV was even created! Back then music videos were clips on TV shows with the band sometimes playing live, sometimes lip-synching/pretending to play their instruments. This is one of (if not *the*) first videos to be made specifically to market a song. P. S. Glad y'all were quiet at the end of the song! Some people talk over the end, but I love the way Freddie whisper-sings 'Any way the wind blows' and then the soft gong!
Great reaction.
Very impressive reaction , lovely people !
Holy crap! You guys make me cry just watching you! Love reactions. I was a senior in high school when this came out. Keep it up!
Thank you very much❤️
Arguable the best front man of all time, lost way too soon. RIP Freddie Mercury, the world misses your incredible talent. This song is a masterpiece, the whole band up there just casually being incredible.
Eventually you will want to listen to the 1985 Live Aid Concert - but you should work up to it by listening to other hits of theirs first.
Wonderful reaction! Loved watching your faces and seeing how some of you were moved to tears. You are correct - this song was a true work of art and continues to inspire new music artists today, almost 50 years after it was released. Queen were true visionaries and matchless in their music. Thank you for this. I’m looking forward to watching more of your reactions.
I love seeing your reactions! Great music is eternal and universal. Thank you for sharing
😽💋🎶💕
Im 43, I've loved Queen since i was 7 and my dad played me Bohemian rhapsody for the first time, i have listened to that song( and their others) many times over the past decades..but watching your reaction, especially the girl in black when she started crying, made me feel those words stronger than i ever have before, and for the first time i found myself crying while listening. Thankyou for this beautiful, emotional reaction.
Really liked the mixed emotions and the group chat along with the song =)
From the band Queen there is another song titled "The show must go on" that I highly recommend to you all.
All the instruments were already recorded and the track couldn't be finalized without the vocals, but Freddy was too weak and sick at home.
One day he gets to the studio, takes one shot of a drink and sings in all in one try. No warm up, no editing, no do overs.
That was his last recording and always moved me to tears even before I knew the story behind it...
Hey from the UK I grew up as a kids with queen and Freddie Mercury, I cried as an 11 year old when he died😢 I now put him on every morning to get my kids out and to school… make sure to listen the Queen collection. I want to break free is one of my favourites ❤ love all of Queen songs xx
Queen was way ahead of their time. I have seen them in concert back on the late 70s. What an amazing group of men. You just opened up tge rabbit hole now to dive deep. All their music is amazing. Somebody to love, white queen are my favorites. Have fun listening to their music
I think Freddie is singing about moving on from the 'old / previous' Freddie --- So the key lyric is " Put a gun against his ( the old Freddie ) head," "Pulled MY trigger, now he's dead". ( Old Freddie is gone, new Freddie is hear or Freddie is acknowledging his sexuality. Beautiful talented Freddie was Gay. )
i saw the thumbnail, saw a bunch of palms on faces and i thought you guys hated the song. then i clicked and i see yall balling your eyes out 😂😂😂
I loved your reaction! This is a masterpiece. One of a kind and timeless! 💙 I just subscribed to your channel. Please react to more Queen! ✌
Freddy 😭😭😭😭 R.I.P. I’m A big Queens Fan my whole life
It's Freddie❤
Í know, once a QUEEN fan you are one forever!
I want to give an hug to that girl who cried 🥺
Music dosent get better than this! 🙏
There's no swing now. Music is pushed through lap tops. Now. This is real music.
Keep going and QUEENIES will come up out of the rabbit hole to see you 🌷 QUEEN HAS A HUGE DISCOGRAPHY ✌🏼💫⚡️💫🥂
When my mother heard the first line of the song, she stopped the CD. I was happy because I had just gotten a car (a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier. It was a very bright green. My parents got the color because they knew that I wore glasses and they didn't want me to lose my car in a large parking lot)I was happy, but I was a little angry. Why? Because she said that she didn't like me listening to anything about "somebody killing somebody" 😂. We argued a bit and I had to drive to the shopping mall and forced her to hear the entire song. And she was impressed. I loved it the first time I heard it. Freddie Mercury had an amazing voice.
This is a True British Classic..
Queen moves over decades,
very good reaction, thank you!
