Hi Princy, it’s something new. I’ve always made it with red pongal rice. Pongal rice takes slightly longer and the chicken is added after the rice is slightly boiled. Tried roast paan today from your video. Came out really well. Vakeesan’s favourite ! 👌😋😋❤️

In this case she might have forgotten to mention about using raw red rice and also she might not have it in hand when she did this recepie. It is better to be flexible with people who are doing cooking videos.
