If you want to do more Visual Kei reactions you can mix BabyMetal with that in a way. One of BabyMetal's guitarists, LEDA, is in a Visual Kei band called Far East Dizain. He is the composer, producer, and of course face melting guitar master for the band. He's insanely talented. He also has a badass solo song called "White Hole" from a different band he was in, that would be a great reaction.
I totally agree with everything you said. Babymetal are truly amazing! After watching any performance by them how can anyone not be impressed by everyone in this band. you should listen to "X Japan - Dahlia live (Last Live)" X Japan are considered one of the founders of visual kei Many bands and artists, most related to visual kei, count them as an influence or look up to them, including Miyavi,[180] Dir en grey,[181][182] Syu and Fumiya of Galneryus,[183][184] The Gazette,[185] D,[186] Sadie vocalist Mao,[187] Tōru Kawauchi from 12012,[188] Maya of LM.C,[189] Flow,[190] Yuuki from Unsraw,[191] DJ Ozma,[192] Kei of Dio - Distraught Overlord,[193] aie from Deadman,[194] Screw's Jin,[195] and DaizyStripper.[196] The members of Versailles named X and Luna Sea as influences, with singer Kamijo saying "I think there isn't anyone in the Japanese music business who hasn't been influenced by them."[197] Likewise, Leda of Galneryus and Deluhi claims he was not even interested in music until a friend played him X Japan and Luna Sea, and also declared X Japan's music his "Bible".[198] American musician Marty Friedman called X Japan the biggest band in visual kei and "by far the most versatile musically," and cited them as the reason he got into Japanese rock music.[199] In We Are X, Gene Simmons claims that if the X Japan members were "born in America or England and sang in English, they might be the biggest band in the world."[200] Due to band's various misfortunes with the suicide of band members, Toshi's brainwashing and lack of overseas success, X Japan have been described in The Times as: "The world's unluckiest band", in an article published on Friday the 13th October, 2017.[8] When asked in an interview if the band was unlucky, Yoshiki answered: "Kinda? I mean, you know, with so much crazy drama that has happened over the years. Hi Declan, just dropping in on an old video because I was impressed with your reaction style (from your double of Divine Attack and Monochrome). I wouldn't have commented here except you asked at the end of Road of Resistance if you should do other music styles, such as ..., ..., Enka, ... . I know most western people on RUclips won't know Enka, but your Japanese subscribers will be pointing you to Babymetal's Megitsune. Babymetal take Enka from melodic and traditional to f****ng spooky. I know it was a long time ago for you, but your reaction will be new to me, I can't wait to see it.
If you're going to check out other Japanese artists, then I have a few suggestions. There are a few groups that I know Babymetal fans will suggest, so I will try to go the less predictable route... each will cross a couple genres, from j rock, metal, j pop, funk, hip-hop and more. ● coldrain: "The Story" ruclips.net/video/Mw7WRVevwIc/видео.html "Bury Me" Live @ Budokan ruclips.net/video/59VDafBX8vc/видео.html ● Miyavi: "Silent Anger" ruclips.net/video/_6jQhNmO_7w/видео.html "Ganryu" ruclips.net/video/C5qLzquXNP8/видео.html A natural progression from Miyavi, seeing as they perform on studio version of "Ganryu"... they are maniacs of traditional & electronic mix percussion... ● Hifana: "Skipless Loops" ruclips.net/video/rPhkAWeEvyQ/видео.html ... and a live version of "Wamono", with guest drummer Kiyohiko Senba (the official video had animated, topless mermaids, so selected live) ruclips.net/video/CIcR-PjvAqQ/видео.html Unless you don't have a problem with animated topless mermaids. ruclips.net/video/bY6iyZzpamg/видео.html Someone else recommended them, but I'm going to 2nd the recommendation for...Maximum the Hormone. They are a band that can and does go anywhere musically. Usually heavy as hell, but they can go full Pop in a heart beat. ● Maximum the Hormone: Yoshu Fukushu ruclips.net/video/beN5ep5MrdY/видео.html ... and their newest, which is a massive contrast... VAP ruclips.net/video/dn17-EfMNY8/видео.html ... and will edit this post for awhile finding links.
If your serious about exploring japanese groups, you might find "Wagakki Band" interesting... particularly Synchronicity (ruclips.net/video/pLsAHrhCVEY/видео.html) or the more popular Senbonzakura (ruclips.net/video/K_xTet06SUo/видео.html) or Kishikaisei (ruclips.net/video/wKEAZv-w89Q/видео.html)
Is that song on the album? Well, kind of. Road of Resistance is on the late release of the first album as a bonus track and on the second album. However, the album version isn't nearly as good. Don't get me wrong: It's good, but when it comes to Babymetal, their live performances blow the studio recordings completely out of the water. And I'm not just talking about the show, but the audio of it as well. My playlist when I'm driving around contains only live versions :)
keith vincent just had shoulder surgery so am waiting to watch band maid! Literally everyone has recommended them and it pains me that I can’t operate my camera haha. Hold tight! I’ll get to them soon!

Accidentally since you've already reacted to Rondo of nightmare make a point in your spare time to watch this don't react to it just watch it this is from Yokohama Arena with mikio fujioka www.dailymotion.com/video/x6auwjy
Ok where you do bring up some good points, like most smaller reaction channels, this is not a reaction that you are providing. You are constantly talking over the video. This is a video commentary. People who watch reaction channels want reactions not commentaries. We react to everything we watch and hear. If we constantly talk through it we don't really watch or hear it. You remind me of the people that talk through a whole movie that end up bloody in the parking lot. Its fucking annoying. I suggest you do pause the video when you have points or wait till the end of the video then discuss it. You really don't need to talk through the whole fucking thing. I'm sure when the camera is off and you are alone you don't constantly talk to yourself through things the first time you see or hear them. That is where you genuinely react. This feels like you are performing for the camera and not being genuine. It seems fake. Take my advice or don't, that is up to you. And I might try your videos in 6 more months. If you are still the fake annoying person I'll do what is up to me and never come back.
You must be fun at parties. You don't come here for the song, otherwise you'd listen to the song, you come here for my views and opinions. How about you do it your way and I'll do it my way. Bellend.
@@DecvsJapan Well I'm a patreon for 3 reactors with over 100k subscribers. Maybe you should try watching some of them. Might learn something. But then again maybe you already know everything and can't take a little constructive criticism. That's fine too. Stay small. You be you.
@@DecvsJapan Also I think you misunderstand. I came because your title said reaction, not review. Your opinions and views are part of a review process. Your views, hence the name review. Reactions are based on your actions while watching, hence the term reaction. If you had titled your video a review not a reaction, then you would be 100% correct that people would be here for your views and opinions. But you didn't.

Check out their song 'Akatsuki', my personal favourite.
Great reaction and great commentary! Welcome to the BABYMETAL world! You are in for such a treat!
nikos themelis I’m honoured!
Glad to hear your Babymetal playlist is expanding :p
If you want to do more Visual Kei reactions you can mix BabyMetal with that in a way. One of BabyMetal's guitarists, LEDA, is in a Visual Kei band called Far East Dizain. He is the composer, producer, and of course face melting guitar master for the band. He's insanely talented. He also has a badass solo song called "White Hole" from a different band he was in, that would be a great reaction.
Bones12x2 thanks for letting me know! It’s been added to this list!
oh and a reaction to mutant monster would be awesome!
yeah they are a great punk rock band
I totally agree with everything you said. Babymetal are truly amazing! After watching any performance by them how can anyone not be impressed by everyone in this band. They go out there and kill it everytime.
Hope to see more j-rock on the channel because I think there are bunch of good bands and songs out there. Like Wagakki Band, Gazette, Maximum The Hormone, and Band-Maid plus more. Maybe even some I haven't seen yet.
I have really been enjoying my journey through j-rock music so far and hope you do too
Kitsune up🤘
MetaTaro 21 Yep they are all on my list! Subscribe if you haven’t and after my shoulder has recovered from surgery I’ll be listening to two new bands a week!
@@DecvsJapan Awesome that's sounds great! Also good luck on your surgery. At least you can play Resistance to motivate you past the recovery time haha
MetaTaro 21 thanks! already 4 months ahead of schedule after only 1 listen!
If you're looking to branch out from vkei, Galneryus is straightforward jrock. To give you an idea of their sound, they're performing next year at the ProgPower USA festival. Everything I've seen them do live is really good.
ImberNoctis nice mate! Will add them to my list!
welcome to The One dude! @FamilyBabymetal #babymetalfamily
just panda honoured lol
Who the hell~ walks into BUDOKAN at age 14(YUI and MOA) (SUE-METAL was 16) and changes history? If you've played the LEGENDARY BUDOKAN, you have made it. If you've played a sold-out TOKYO DOME 55,000 SEAT STADIUM two nights in a row - you are immortal! BABYMETAL 4 LIFE….
Insane right!?
The point of babymetal is to praise other kinds of metal. So if it sounds like a kind of metal or seems like a honouring some kind of metal it probably is :)
So no offence taken on that BM sounds like something else (since that is the point)
And since Herman and Sam from Dragonforce wrote the guitar parts for _Road of Resistance._ :D
you should listen to "X Japan - Dahlia live (Last Live)"
X Japan are considered one of the founders of visual kei
Many bands and artists, most related to visual kei, count them as an influence or look up to them, including Miyavi,[180] Dir en grey,[181][182] Syu and Fumiya of Galneryus,[183][184] The Gazette,[185] D,[186] Sadie vocalist Mao,[187] Tōru Kawauchi from 12012,[188] Maya of LM.C,[189] Flow,[190] Yuuki from Unsraw,[191] DJ Ozma,[192] Kei of Dio - Distraught Overlord,[193] aie from Deadman,[194] Screw's Jin,[195] and DaizyStripper.[196] The members of Versailles named X and Luna Sea as influences, with singer Kamijo saying "I think there isn't anyone in the Japanese music business who hasn't been influenced by them."[197] Likewise, Leda of Galneryus and Deluhi claims he was not even interested in music until a friend played him X Japan and Luna Sea, and also declared X Japan's music his "Bible".[198] American musician Marty Friedman called X Japan the biggest band in visual kei and "by far the most versatile musically," and cited them as the reason he got into Japanese rock music.[199]
In We Are X, Gene Simmons claims that if the X Japan members were "born in America or England and sang in English, they might be the biggest band in the world."[200] Due to band's various misfortunes with the suicide of band members, Toshi's brainwashing and lack of overseas success, X Japan have been described in The Times as: "The world's unluckiest band", in an article published on Friday the 13th October, 2017.[8] When asked in an interview if the band was unlucky, Yoshiki answered: "Kinda? I mean, you know, with so much crazy drama that has happened over the years. But at the same time, we have amazing fans around the world so I can't say 'the world's unluckiest band', but what I can say is 'the world's luckiest band'. Thanks to our fans."[201]
RBN121291 great info thanks! Will definitely get round to them as I’ve heard a couple of songs my students recommended to me!
These are the golden years of the band. When I think Babymetal, I think amazing 3 young girls. Kinda weird seeing them now, especially with Yui gone and kami band wears masks, so NO fun facial expressions during their solos. SMH, all good things come to an end and look forward to hearing the new album
SEE YOU!!!!
scott m new album will be good!
If the idea of "little japanese gilrs doing metal" sounds like strange for a some metalheads, try to react to Band Maid
Band Maid is a group founded in 2013 and now they are going BIG. They aren´t girls btw but are also very young
Maybe some live like this can surprise you
ruclips.net/video/vFyYiPDZzdw/видео.html
Another Japanese band you need to check out is Wagakki and the song is Senbonzakura great band they have played out here in California several times.
romanobritish had a few requests for this band but am just recovering from surgery! Will get to them soon!
ruclips.net/video/yb9eBc9iFE4/видео.html
If you are interested this is the vocalist's ballad performance just before she joins Babymetal, at the age of 12.
Hey, your kawaii face was pretty convincing ;-) Thank you for this reaction, please do more! This was indeed a real live recording, although probably with a few touch-ups. You'll notice when you listen to the album version, because it doesn't sound as good as this. :-) Normally I would recommend Akatsuki now, because it's an awesome display of Su's vocal awesomeness, but since you have already done a Su solo recently, my vote goes to "YAVA!" instead: www.dailymotion.com/video/x6sicig. It's a bit more on the kawaii side, so it would be interesting to see how that works for you.
What happened to the full live version of this with the intro
Here it is www.dailymotion.com/video/x6gpgga
Thanks haha!
Oh, sorry! Didn‘t notice I linked a butchered version.
She HAS gotten better! She's 20 now, and I suggest checking out a version from this year or last year (I don't think you need make a video on it, it's just for your own extra knowledge). Maybe this one?: ruclips.net/video/3c6J2offVxc/видео.html it's a fan cam compilation but you can still hear the improvement!
Edit: also, great reaction! Keep them coming!
Good suggestion: The One MV for Babymetal
"so much like DragonForce" ...😂😂😂
scott m :)
Finally! 😄
You should do catch me of you can next. That was a great performance.
T'Keyah Hines will get around to it I promise!
Even the Red Sea would part for Su-Metal
Great reaction......since your a teacher you might get a kick out of watching the girls when they were just getting started at Sakura Gakuin. Nendo tests 2010 to 2014 ruclips.net/video/T9LWFc9AKtA/видео.html. Your looking for suzuka nakamoto.....su metal, moa kikuchi.....moa metal, yui Mizuno...yui metal.
can never decide which of their songs i like the most.. but this is easily in the top 3. next why don't you try something more jpop like. trust me, it's great. it's called Awadama Fever. www.dailymotion.com/video/k5UFOicB27qYJencclz
If you want some wonderful regular Japanese rock check out polkadot stingray, yonige, and humpback. I promise you that you will like them
delbomb3131 Nice, thanks! All female singers too? I want a few more female vocalists to listen to! :)
@@DecvsJapan yeah these bands have female leads, they're more on the normal spectrum of the music world. I saw yonige and humpback live in Yokohama and they were amazing. Polkadot stingray is a little more fun and goofy and the guitarist is stellar
@@DecvsJapan if I could get you to react to anything out of quality and just love of the band and wanting to see them get more exposure it's ruclips.net/video/R4xgeGinzUY/видео.html
This kinda Japanese music doesn't get nearly enough exposure
delbomb3131 Great stuff! They’ve been added to my list!
delbomb3131 do you live in Japan or were just lucky?
Here ya go :) ruclips.net/video/ZJ_YbVDwV04/видео.html
@@DecvsJapan Thanks Declan, that's a better volume for the listener.
If you're going to check out other Japanese artists, then I have a few suggestions. There are a few groups that I know Babymetal fans will suggest, so I will try to go the less predictable route... each will cross a couple genres, from j rock, metal, j pop, funk, hip-hop and more.
● coldrain: "The Story" ruclips.net/video/Mw7WRVevwIc/видео.html
"Bury Me" Live @ Budokan ruclips.net/video/59VDafBX8vc/видео.html
● Miyavi: "Silent Anger" ruclips.net/video/_6jQhNmO_7w/видео.html
"Ganryu" ruclips.net/video/C5qLzquXNP8/видео.html
A natural progression from Miyavi, seeing as they perform on studio version of "Ganryu"... they are maniacs of traditional & electronic mix percussion...
● Hifana: "Skipless Loops" ruclips.net/video/rPhkAWeEvyQ/видео.html
... and a live version of "Wamono", with guest drummer Kiyohiko Senba (the official video had animated, topless mermaids, so selected live) ruclips.net/video/CIcR-PjvAqQ/видео.html
Unless you don't have a problem with animated topless mermaids.
ruclips.net/video/bY6iyZzpamg/видео.html
Someone else recommended them, but I'm going to 2nd the recommendation for...Maximum the Hormone. They are a band that can and does go anywhere musically. Usually heavy as hell, but they can go full Pop in a heart beat.
● Maximum the Hormone: Yoshu Fukushu ruclips.net/video/beN5ep5MrdY/видео.html
... and their newest, which is a massive contrast...
VAP ruclips.net/video/dn17-EfMNY8/видео.html
... and will edit this post for awhile finding links.
Almost 9 minutes goes by in 3 or so.
If your serious about exploring japanese groups, you might find "Wagakki Band" interesting... particularly Synchronicity (ruclips.net/video/pLsAHrhCVEY/видео.html) or the more popular Senbonzakura (ruclips.net/video/K_xTet06SUo/видео.html) or Kishikaisei (ruclips.net/video/wKEAZv-w89Q/видео.html)
Dragonforce was in on the weiring of this massive awesome song.. performance is other wordly..
It's SO good!
Nooice reaction!
Singulitarian cheeeeeeers!
This song is written by dragonforce lol
(・∀・)イイネ!! サイッコウダネ!!
Base. Betelgeuse. そう思うよ! :)
you want a crazy japanese band? try Sacramental by kiba of Akiba! theay are great!
And they did cover a BABYMETAL song in the past and vice versa. :D
@@steffenjachnow8176 yep 😎
Can t go wrong with babymetal or band maid.imo.
keith vincent just had shoulder surgery so am waiting to watch band maid! Literally everyone has recommended them and it pains me that I can’t operate my camera haha. Hold tight! I’ll get to them soon!
ok thanks.
I enjoyed your reaction. ROR ia my favorite song. If you wanna explore Japanese music more, how about next one ? They sing in English.
MAN WITH A MISSION - Dead End in Tokyo

K Rainbow oooo what kind of style?
J-Rock ! I love OOR and BM too. So you may like this.
Nobody have seen their faces, because they always wear wolf masks when they perfome.
K Rainbow can’t wait! Kind of like Greeeeeeen then haha.
I find your lack of RUclips ability to be one of your more entertaining quality
Kip Rockwood at least someone does! :)
More Babymetal and Band-Maid Please! \m/
Accidentally since you've already reacted to Rondo of nightmare make a point in your spare time to watch this don't react to it just watch it this is from Yokohama Arena with mikio fujioka www.dailymotion.com/video/x6auwjy

Try react baby metal feat dragon force or baby metal feat red hot Chili paper.bro.
Will do!
I thought DragonForce recorded this one for them.
