Sviridov is "he", because in Russian surnames for woman you should use "Sviridova". And somewhere in the depths of internet his name mentioned as Valery Sviridov.
This game is masterful. I kept staring at the "Tal structure", wondering what the Queen could do, but no- she is helpless. Incredible. I don't even think an engine would find these sacrifices.
I wanted to find it but couldn't, focussing too much on left hand side. .. The master Tal magnificently shows us the power of a pawn in this game.👏 Thanks for this
Tal showing off making it look easy the rest of you chess players do what you can to save your major pieces Queen Rook whatever I’ll just win with my pawns and Bishops
Such a brutal winning combination. I wonder if the opponent thought they were winning on move 15 or 16 before realizing they had completely fallen into the trap a few moves earlier.
The Dragon is the second most popular alternative to Najdorf from there? I would have been sure it is Scheveningen or Classical and guessed one of those.
Just wanted to point out that you are not wearing a hoodie in honor of the hoodie guy or girl. Is it a Tal thing as I know Tal is your best chess player.😂😂 This just poetic the knights are in a symbiotic relationship with the bishops.😊
Antonio: Now Tal has three ways to recapture Me: you obviously recapture with the knight. Antonio: now surely you won't recapture with the knight... Me: god, I suck Antonio: ...but that's exactly what Tal does. Me: maybe I am prodigy after all?
I luv watching as someone who knows no theory, I would’ve gone knight to h5 like you said, and I wouldn’t have taken the rook, and for sure get rid of the pawn but I trust you that it was still a bad position
Well in that case, after pawn promotes to queen and king moves, tal simply move away the queen instead of taking the rook and he will have a queen and 3 pieces against a rook, a bishop, and a knight
I don’t believe he considered this his best game. This is just one findable combination where as he played much more insane and convoluted sacrifices. Here there was only one line to calculate
Agad. there are so many beautiful games you already covered 5-6 years ago. could u pls re-upload with new style? we will really love to watch them again..
Great game, thanks for it! Now two opinions: there's no sound when you move the pieces. Did you change that forever or is it just a thing for this video. Personally, I prefer with sound. And I also preferred your previous camera. This one is a bit too dark in this video (could be the lighting in your room for it, of course) but I also think it king of has the "contrast" a bit too high in the other videos you used it for. Just that, my two cents, hope that's not a problem 🙂
g5! I got it I got it I got it! I play like Tal! (In my dreams, anyway.) LATER, having watched the rest - well, if I'd foreseen what follows, casually sacrificing all three of your strongest pieces, then the excitement would be justified. This is a jewel amongst chess games. Thank you, Antonio.
After the pause the video moment you do mention what black should have played and that even then black was dead lost. Perhaps that's why Tal liked this game in particular, because of what black played, eventhough he had the other options covered. Question is why was black dead lost anyway, how would you have continued it if black played differently (still losing) if u were Tal. 4:26
4:13 But what if Sviridov knew what was coming and he didn't take the pawn on g5 but he rather advanced his pawn: - ..... h5 - gxNf6 exf6 Sure, he would have lost his/her Knight but he/she would still have a chance to win or draw against Tal, right? 🤔
Tal is just something else. He is in his own league.
There is nothing more pleasant in the chess world than watching a Tal game.
Fischer is the greatest genius to descend from the chessic heavens.

The Tal structure is one of the best minor piece synchronisation I have seen on the board
Wow, two Tal games in one day is an unexpected treat. Amazing game!
Says something from where you're from :-D agadmator's time zone says: 2 separate days
@@drauch Indeed, I'm 4 or 5 hours ahead
I can't believe how excited I get seeing that Agad released a Tal game, given that I only got into chess like a year ago.
All because of Agad

2 Tal games in a row? Now we need some Nezhmetdinov games with your better analysis
Yeeeeeeesss
Yeah he is literally the Batman of chess and a true competiter of Tal
He is spoiling us.
YES
Very nice suggestion
It's the end of an era. Agadmator no longer honours Mr Hoodie Guy.
2 Tal games in a row? You are spoiling us Antonio!
I do not no what to say, TWO TAL games in ONE DAY? I'm over the moon Thank you Agad

They saw the chessboard as they wanted it to be and not as it really was - Tal punished them for that.
Mikhal Tal never loses a game , he just sacrifices his king sometimes.
Tal pieces are in perfect harmony.
Pawn on g7 could not ask for a better square to promote to
“… and also, the threat comes with checkmate”
5 Wei Yi games and then 2 Tal game! Man, I can never love you enough. Mad respect. ❤❤❤
Thank you Agad for serving 2 delicacies on the same day
Truly this is one if the most GOATED games 😊.
Tal was out of this world.
Truly a genius
"And also the threat comes with checkmate, so that's a pretty big deal."
You may skip honoring the hoodie guy, but I certainly won't. I will continue to embrace tradition.
Back to back Tal videos! Its like its 2017 again.
I love Tal games. Could watch over and over. And over. And over.
The Structure looks like a hunting bow. "Tal's Bow"
Tal's bow.. awesome name 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yes!!!
The Tal Structure. Brilliant!
A grand game! I'm still partial to Tal's 1st game vs Botvinnik for the world title. More pressure brought out the best in Tal. Great post!
I can never get enough of agad covering tal games
When Antonio said that black's light squared bishop is gonna play a crucial role in the game I knew some kind of mockery is waiting to be unveiled
Loved this one, brilliant commentating as well!
We're getting spoiled with this Tal revival, not only 2 excellent Tal games, but also in 60 fps HD!
Sviridov is "he", because in Russian surnames for woman you should use "Sviridova". And somewhere in the depths of internet his name mentioned as Valery Sviridov.
Yeah we know. As woman can't play chess
#suggestion Nezhmetdinov vs Timofeev 1973 . Spectacular game
Man, we forget how good Tal games are when we don't see them in a while...
Tal's immortal game against Smyslov will always remain brilliant.
Tal invents The Bishops’ Stable.
By far the most entertaining player to watch.
You know that opponent knew they messed up when Tal let his second rook get captured.
تال هو اكثر من ( مجرد ) اسطورة
Tal is brilliant. My favorite, however is Petrosian, the defensive master.
This game is masterful. I kept staring at the "Tal structure", wondering what the Queen could do, but no- she is helpless. Incredible. I don't even think an engine would find these sacrifices.
Tal checkmates faster than the speed of sound, we couldn't even hear the board sounds.
Hilarious defensive set up by Tal! Never seen anything like it.
Everyday from now on, I would be expecting a tal game when I open youtube. Looks like 2 games were enough to spoil me.
I wanted to find it but couldn't, focussing too much on left hand side. .. The master Tal magnificently shows us the power of a pawn in this game.👏 Thanks for this
Tal was amazing at sacrificing pieces to push pawns to promotion. I’ve seen him do that multiple games now. I wish he could have explained
when you are excited about a game, its always good
You sac all your major pieces and the opponent resigns. Who wouldn't call it his favorite game...
Tal showing off making it look easy the rest of you chess players do what you can to save your major pieces Queen Rook whatever I’ll just win with my pawns and Bishops
Lets call the 2 bishops-knights manover Tals double-twins ;))
The video is so sharpened I can see Tal's brain
I love Tal
That was insanity, great game, thanx for sharing!
I am from Stuggart Germany. I'll be visiting my family this summer. but where would one look for that info. Microfilm of some old newspapers??
Extremely excited game. First time watched on matojelic's channel
Babe wake up, agadmator just dropped the 2nd video of Tal's game in a row
What Babe?
Aaah. , The Tal Structure , nice ring to it
Hoodie guy wasnt honoured with a hoodie Agad
Coming up with two Tal games in one night😲
That's one of the best traps I've ever seen. Unstoppable promotion.
Damn, I remember the original upload of this game. Spiral stairs in the background and lower quality camera and mike.
Trying sharp lines against Tal. Top marks for confidence no marks for common sense 😂
#suggestion Bring Medo to, "help" record a video for you so we can see him again. Not all videos but we miss the old dude.
I like two Tal on the screen😊
What a snoozefest...
...it must be to watch *other* chess channels when this one keeps us wide awake with excitement and joy.
Funny Dave Agadmator the Best Ok with the Rest
The more Tal the merrier
The opening line reminds me of the Yugoslav attack
No hoodie?
Such a brutal winning combination. I wonder if the opponent thought they were winning on move 15 or 16 before realizing they had completely fallen into the trap a few moves earlier.
I wanna see Tal's games with black pieces, too. I'm trying to find some, but here in RUclips, I can barery see any
Agadmator probably has many in his back log I do come across Tal on other ‘programs’ from time to time
Where's your hoodie, man?
I need to learn some tactics to sack pieces like Tal in my games
The Dragon is the second most popular alternative to Najdorf from there? I would have been sure it is Scheveningen or Classical and guessed one of those.

This position is pretty common in a London v KID. Very much looking forward to my next encounter.
Don't know who to fear... Tal down with pieces or Tal up with pieces??..
Or the name Tal itself😮
At first i thought black bishop would play a crucial role in winning the game but guess what😅

Amin Tabatabaei vs V Pranav in Sharjah masters 24 is Amin’s true masterpiece !!!
Fantastic game, thank you Agad.
We instantly miss the noise the pieces make as you move them. We can only hear the mouse click. Great game though!
I didn’t even think of it but you’re not the only one that mentioned it just the positions of the pieces and the pawn on g7 Spoke for itself
I see tal I watch ❣️
Antonio: Now Tal has three ways to recapture
Me: you obviously recapture with the knight.
Antonio: now surely you won't recapture with the knight...
Me: god, I suck
Antonio: ...but that's exactly what Tal does.
Me: maybe I am prodigy after all?
I luv watching as someone who knows no theory, I would’ve gone knight to h5 like you said, and I wouldn’t have taken the rook, and for sure get rid of the pawn but I trust you that it was still a bad position
It's probably "he" as for example if the opponent was soviet, it would be "Sviridova"
In the final position, black can play Qxd1+ first and then move the bishop, and in the end white is up only one piece not two.
As soon as that passed pawn promotes to Queen game is over
U r right at 5:32 queen takes knight check. Bishop takes queen. Then pawn promtion. He will be up by only 1 piece
Which is still completely winning and Black does well to resign
But then why will he give the queen for the rook
Well in that case, after pawn promotes to queen and king moves, tal simply move away the queen instead of taking the rook and he will have a queen and 3 pieces against a rook, a bishop, and a knight
This Tal structure is insane!! 😧😧
And the hoodie bro? you started it... im wearing my hoodie right now!
I don’t believe he considered this his best game. This is just one findable combination where as he played much more insane and convoluted sacrifices. Here there was only one line to calculate

Vladimir Sviridov (Soviet chess player)
Stress on 2nd "i" in Sviridov.
5:56 what about pawn to E6? Doesn't that stop checkmate?
After the pause the video moment you do mention what black should have played and that even then black was dead lost.

Sure, he would have lost his/her Knight but he/she would still have a chance to win or draw against Tal, right? 🤔
No sound on the board when pieces move? That's my favorite thing
Yeah
