Not only do we share similar styles for planning and enjoying our days at WDW...you love "Live PD"! Yes!!!! Loved watching each day of your trip and I look forward to watching more videos! Thanks for sharing 😀
I love your videos! Were headed to Disney for the very first time with our 6 year old son in April this year. 54 days!!! These videos are helping me prepare! I am LOVING your laid back take on things. I have been so worried after reading blogs and being on Disney Facebook groups that we have to hit the ground running and go go go all day long. You make me feel like we can take it easy and really enjoy ourselves without waiting in lines all day and riding 57 rides and seeing 100 characters!! I've gotten negative feedback for having 3 "off" days on our 8 night trip.
I am relatively new to your channel and have been watching since your Disney vacation, 2017. Your vacation almost mirrors how my husband plan our yearly Disney vacations. The same resort, locations, rides, and meals you both adore are favs, too. We love Port Orleans French Quarter... we travel in warmer months so our return to the resort we rest pool side. Wishing you continued happiness, success and Disney magic!
Hi Blair! I recently found you while searching for Disney World vlogs and I absolutely love your channel! I really liked the style of this video and enjoyed following the Disney vlogs as well!
Hi Blair! I really love these series! We are planning our first BOG breakfast reservation as well before park opening. I hope we are able to ride rides as well before everyone else gets in! Thank you for your videos!
I’m loving your videos! My fiancé and I are going for 9 days in a few weeks and your videos are helping me get through the wait! Suggestion for Hollywood studios: our last trip we made reservations for mama melrose and oh my goodness. This is a fantastic hidden gem. Food is delicious service is amazing. I would highly suggest a try on your next trip :)
Love your channel! My family is making our first trip to WDW in June. It is a bucket list trip for me and I am beyond excited. I just ordered two shirts from your shop to help make our trip extra special. Thanks for all your wonderful content.
I am staying at Beach Club in october when I go for my first solo trip, and we went on our trip this December to walk around the resort and see it. Went to Be Our Guest for breakfast, rode 2 rides, then went to take a bus over to Beach Club. Someone by the bus stop at Magic Kingdom started up a conversation with us, and ended up calling a van to come get us so we wouldn't have to wait for a bus, it was amazing. Toured the hotel, which was gorgeous, and walked right in to Epcot with no line for bag check (yay!). We enjoy being able to be flexible on our trips, it's exhausting, so we make plans with the knowledge that they can change. We normally don't return to our room midday on our family trips, but I will be doing that daily on my solo trip, I honestly don't see why people get so worked up over others returning to their rooms.
I love your videos! I'm looking forward to one of your Disney binder - I can't wait to see how you organize! I know you showed a quick clip of it in one of your recent videos (maybe the packing vlog). Seeing it more in depth will be excellent. We're planning our Honeymoon and it's very different for me this time. Last time we went, we had our daughter with us - planning sit down meals is hard without the go-to Character Meals to fall back on.
Awesome video!! It's just hubby and I now, kids are grown (we absolutely love when they are able to go on a trip with us) so we tend to plan but not plan our WDW trips when they are not with us! I do have an 8am BOG ressie for our trip in May and planned that since the park doesn't open until 9 but other than that we are going to just go with it for this trip!! We did the QS meal plan for that reason too, we just wanted this trip to be about enjoying the moments and I can't wait to be back home in WDW!!
We have been to Disney 5 times😀 We are heading back in November 2019… With our kiddos being teens now we alternate between “early morning” days in the park and “ early afternoon” days… We also have 1 day with nothing planned and just play it by ear
Hey Blair!! Watching your expectations vs reality AGAIN in preparation for our annual WDW trip! I would LOVE to hear more about your previous dining experience at Teppan Epo! Will be our first time going and interested in knowing if its good amount of food (we will be sharing with our twin 2 yr olds) as they can't get the dining plan yet. Thanks!!
I wanted to mention... I nanny for a family with triplet girls and an older sister (ages 7 and age 9) I plan their Disney vacation and travel with their family. I am double magic mode when I get to take the girls to Magic Kingdom by myself! Seeing the park thru their eyes is wonderful... helping four kiddos get cleaned up after eating Chocolate Mickey ice cream on a stick a little less magical, but still fun. Most magical experience- getting them dressed at Magic Kingdom (in a restroom) in their princess costumes (with accessories) for lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table.
Thank you for making such a wonderful vlog series! My family is going to WDW in March and we are super excited! My 8-year-old and I have watched most of your Disney vlogs together. And I agree, everyone vacations differently. We will be taking breaks as well! Great content and thanks for sharing!
We love Disney World! As a couple we have been twice together. Once for our honeymoon and just went this past February for a work conference. We stayed at Coronado Springs both times. We love staying there. They have a nice pool(s) for when we go back to rest during the day. The food places are great and they have a awesome souvenir shop. Our last night I ended up in the hospital!?! Thought I was having a heart attack. Long and terrifying story. But anyways everyone was amazing there and so helpful. I would recommend it for one of your future trips. We will have to try the two Port Orlean resorts some time!
I really loved this series! What a great trip you guys had. It just makes me so excited about my trip and you give such great ideas and suggestions. I am looking forward to your future videos on Disney!
I loved this vlog series!! It’s so crazy how much plans can change a bit when you are actually there. I started my planning vlogs for my trip in March! I can’t wait to make vlogs half as good as yours!
I love these videos. Such a great idea to document what you plan on doing and what you actually did. I love watching The DIS Unplugged and they talk all the time about people planning to do too much in a day and not allowing for changes in your plan. According to The DIS, a lot of guests that are frequent guests to Disney World (and stay on property) return to their room mid day for a break. I saw in a previous video where you talked about people thinking you were crazy for taking a break mid day. I think it is smart. Most people don't have jobs where they walk that much in a day. So even if you don't have back issues, your feet will need a break. I love watching Disney related videos, but have only been once. Lording willing, I hope to be in better health and be able to go again sometime.
Hi Blair! Love your videos, but would love to see one on how you handle bringing home souvenirs! Do you account for extra space when packing, or what do you do when you might have gone a little too crazy shopping? Haha! And how do you handle artwork to keep it from getting bent or messed up?? Thanks!!
We really did not think this through, oops! Next time, I'll pack an extra small backpack/carry-on to use for souvenirs on the way home. (I did carry the print separately because I didn't want it to get bent.) Learn from my mistake! ;)
I was wondering how the restaurant was at Grand Floridian...... Sounds like you didn't go.... My next trip I'm looking to do some different restaurants so I'll check some reviews.... Sounds like a great time though!!
I would also love to hear Dining Plan credits break down in a video some time! The dining plan is something I'm struggling with planning. We have all of our table service credits booked, but I am worried about misusing the rest. Aka - "wasting" a quick service credit on a resort breakfast, when it could be used for something better/worth more! I am also worried I'm going to order something that I think is a snack credit but it isn't! ...and do you ever have left overs? People who are anti dining plan say its a waste and they've ended up with extra credits at the end of the trip. Hope this make sense!
Hey Blair 🤗 Great video! We plan very identical, listening to your trips always makes me re live when me and my guy go every year too (We stay at Port Orleans as well) :) One thing I didn't hear you mention is Disney Springs. Did you guys ride the boat over there from the resort on this trip? There are SOOO many good and new places to eat that all take the Disney Dining Plan as well. We are vegetarian, so I've done a lot of research on all the Dining throughout the years, and when we went in September (we go for the Food and Wine Festival every year.. a MUST Do if you haven't yet) there were a couple new places open worth checking out :) Also, Wolfgang Pucks has a great counter service, probably one of the best at Disney. Earl of sandwich has great breakfast sandwiches and sandwiches. As for Hollywood Studios, we found there was not a lot to do there either. It was also after Irma hit (we flew into Disney the day after...that's a story in itself!), so the lake in the middle was drained, and the construction made it a different experience.. but the lines at Disney that week were very short! lol Thanks again for the fun memories :) and please keep the Disney videos coming ❤
We went to Disney Springs on our last trip and decided to forego it this year in favor of more time in the parks. We live outside of Dallas and have most of the amenities available in DS within an hour's drive--we just prefer to be in the parks! Disney Springs is neat, though! We ate at Earl of Sandwich last year and loved it!
I just love WDW. I noticed you guys didn’t go to Disney Springs. Any particular reason or just prefer to stay at the Parks? I don’t love Disney Springs but my husband does. He usually goes by himself at night while I rest. Ha!!

We've never had an issue with the buses at all, but we also have visited during the off season, so that may have something to do with it. The food court and pools are good, not spectacular (in my opinion), but solid.

Casey’s Corner frozen lemonade is amazing!!! It has a mint twist!
One of my favorite, non park activity, was movie night at the resort. We got popcorn and brought our drink cups and really relaxed for almost 2 hours.

I think writing down what you do each day is an awesome way to refresh your memory of the trip. I will do that next time

You should do a haul of the Disney trip. Loved the vlogs and would love to see what you both got while there. Xxx
Molly Higgins agreed!

Yes for live PD!!! I love your videos after binge watching every single one of them!
My family always stays in the boardwalk area and it’s the best!

Teppan Edo is fantastic and lots of food!

Aww, I love that. Thanks so much for sharing!!
Yay Live PD 😁. New subscriber. I am loving your vlogs!!
I was so sad because I thought this would be the last Disney video but YAY for more on the way!!! ✨
Haha great trip report! I keep a video journal of the things I enjoyed each day!
Thank you for making such a wonderful vlog series! My family is going to WDW in March and we are super excited! My 8-year-old and I have watched most of your Disney vlogs together. And I agree, everyone vacations differently. We will be taking breaks as well! Great content and thanks for sharing!

You have to do Disney your way, I'm glad you had an amazing time. I'm so excited for my holiday in May now! 😘 xx
Yay, I can’t wait for your Disney binder video!!!
Love the message in this video. Thank you so much for making this video. Two thumbs up!
my trip is in November and as i am writing my plans i get teary eyed when im planing my last day LOL
I really loved this series! What a great trip you guys had. It just makes me so excited about my trip and you give such great ideas and suggestions. I am looking forward to your future videos on Disney!

We are planning for a January 2020 trip and your videos have been so helpful for this Disney newbie! How was the weather in late January?
The weather, in our experience, is great. Cool, but not chilly. We love it.
I would also love to hear Dining Plan credits break down in a video some time! The dining plan is something I'm struggling with planning. Just popping in to say we are also obsessed with Live PD, LOL.
Can you give your opinion of the transportation options from Port Orleans Resort, please?
The only options are buses, unless you're going to Disney Springs, in which case you can use the boat.
Hi Blair, I'm thinking about staying at French Quarter when I do Disney in the fall. Are the busses less crowded? How is the food court and pools?
We've never had an issue with the buses at all, but we also have visited during the off season, so that may have something to do with it. The food court and pools are good, not spectacular (in my opinion), but solid.
Last time I went to Disney, a cast member told me I could use my wife's magic band to use her fast pass to Tower of Terror.
What pizza did you get?
If I'm remembering correctly, we got half cheese, half sausage.
Blair Lamb thanks love...heard fabulous things and have booked a meal there!
Oooh, hope you love it. It was our favorite meal of the trip by far!
