Seven pints. Mixing Guinness with various Lagers, is asking for trouble. And all that walking in between pints would definitely mess you up. Well done. The Guinness looked terrible in every bar but, what can you do. I lived in Queens and would love to have seen you in Sunnyside and Woodside, having a few beers. Expensive enough over there. You have to come to Dublin and have a few real pints of Guinness. By the way Smithwicks is pronounced Smithicks, silent W. Enjoyed that.

Amigo, you have to drink what the locals drink. Chasing Irish / British pub culture in American bar and grills doesn't work! Locally-brewed lagers and ales, or industrial lagers, is what sells in those kinds of bars. Or rum and cokes lol. Even in actual Irish pubs in the States, the beer had to cross an ocean to get there. Yuck. It was still fun to watch the cultural exchange!

Whenever I visit a large city, I usually go for a walk in the graveyard. Apart from the old gravestones and mausoleums being really interesting, the graveyard offers peace and quiet and a bit of greenery for a bit. Plus, a lot of folks are superstitions and freaked out by graveyards, so they're usually pretty empty.
